St. Louis is known for its neighborhood bars. This is that kind of setting. Great atmosphere and great food and great service. Beautiful indoor or outdoor dining. Happy hour only includes a couple wines. But a huge wine selection and full bar. The Goat cheese dip was really good. The trout salad was also really good.

A favorite wine bar among many in St. Louis. The wine selection is great, but what really stands out to me is the atmosphere...especially the patio. It’s spacious, relaxed, and perfect for a date night. The food comes out fairly quickly and is consistently delicious. The surrounding neighborhood has that classic St. Louis charm with walkable streets and beautiful old architecture. The interior is also beautifully designed and adds to the cozy, laid-back vibe. Highly recommend on a nice weather day!

They accommodated party of 9 on the Mothers Day Sunday for lunch, after calling them same day. While food was slightly delayed, they disclosed that and provided great services. You must try Nutella and Strawberry crepes.

Stunning patio in the heart of the cozy Shaw neighborhood. Great place to have snacks, appetizers and wine outside under the lights. Live music on Wednesdays at 8 is always a good time. Top date night spot

We had a very nice late dinner here last night. It was close to where we were staying, so we gave it a try. I was a little nervous to try it since so many reviews mentioned poor, slow or non existent service, but our experience was very good. Our server came promptly and came back to check on us frequently and ws not slow. We also enjoyed the unique offerings on the menu like crepes. The apple and brown sugar crepe was amazing!

I have the given this place more chances than they deserve. After a terrible first experience, I decided I wouldn’t go back. But, I chalked it up to a one off and have been back several times. But wow…the experience I had a couple nights ago was the icing on the cake. Having your pos system down is one thing, but the lack of communication and straight up abandonment is another. Terrible service is the norm here. I consistently feel unwelcome and like I’m a burden for even existing. I’ve tried so hard to have a good time, but due to these shortcomings I cannot in good faith come here anymore. Here are some of my reasons for not returning: -Waitress couldn’t suggest a white wine, as she only drank red. -Waitress abandoned us and no one else came; therefore, we asked another server for help and he scolded us saying he off the clock. -Waiter was incredibly apathetic and made me rethink living? -Cheese boards are generally mid -Getting your water refilled here is not an option, as well as getting an accurate check (oftentimes they don’t charge for everything you ordered??) Good luck to Sasha’s but I will no longer be a patron.

Ambiance + food + server = best experience ever! The burger was absolutely delicious and the spinach artichoke deep was creamy & delicious! You have to give it a try!

I had never been to Sasha's so my friend, who is a regular, suggested we meet up at this spot. Let! Me! Tell! You! I adored this spot! The ambiance from the time you set foot inside the vibes you get add sexy, chill, and sophisticated! We sat by the warm fireplace on a couch a sat and talked for hours! The espresso martini was the best I have ever had! The apps we ordered (charcuterie board and pita/hummus plate) were just delish! And the cherry on top of this beautiful outing was the FREE wine tasting! We tasted about four different wines and! We gained for each selection and it was very informational! The wine bottles on the wall are a unique and elegant touch. I am not a fancy girl, but it was nice to feel fancy but! Not too fancy, if ya know what I mean! It was still a chill atmosphere!! Highly recommend this spot for sure!

A cool patio that also serves cocktails ?!?! Count me in! Sasha's is located in the Shaw neighborhood just a few minutes away from the Botanical Gardens. After a day in the garden, Sasha's is the perfect place to relax. There garden patio is cozy and relaxing. They offer an extensive cocktail menu. I love anything with bubbles so the lavender French 75 was an obvious choice for me. The menu boasts cheese plates, small bites, sandwiches, and salads. There is something for every palate. Our server was helpful with the menu and offered excellent recommendations.

I visited Sasha's On Shaw for my friend's graduation celebration on a Friday night. We had a group of ten, and my friend mentioned that it was very difficult to get in contact with anyone to make a reservation. She explained that she had to call multiple times in advance, and every employee that she talked to was unfriendly and unhelpful. However, when we all arrived for the reservation, our in-person experience was totally fine! The inside is super cute and trendy, but the outdoor patio is absolutely perfect for sipping wine on a summer night. Our group of ten sat inside, and it was extremely loud and hard to hear anyone. I could barely hear my friends who were sitting directly across the table from me. I think the patio is the place to be! Our server was nice and knowledgable about the menu. She did a great job taking care of all ten of us. Our food took quite awhile to come out, but I totally understand that they were busy on a Friday night and that we had a large table. The appetizers came out with the rest of the food though, which was a little disappointing. My friend and I split a bottle of white wine. It was delicious and the perfect amount to share. Don't get too overwhelmed by the expansive wine list! Everything is very organized and easy to follow. I ate a Grilled Veggie flatbread, and it was wonderful. It comes with grilled zucchini, squash, red and yellow peppers, asparagus, and mushrooms, with house-made red sauce and mozzarella. I definitely recommend it!

We stopped in for a quick drink and snack before heading to the Garden Glow and I am so glad we did! The ambiance is amazing, the service was amazing and you can't go wrong with the food and drinks. Our server, Scott, was top notch! We got a world cheese platter and a flatbread and they were to die for. Of course the wine was great but you cannot leave here without getting the Sasha's Martini! It is absolutely delicious! I can't wait to come back!

I love going to Sasha's for dinner and drinks with friends! I always get the Brie BLT which is delicious with toasted bread and melted Brie. It also comes with tots which are perfectly crispy. The tots come with mustard and ketchup to dip. For dessert, the Nutella crepe with strawberry and banana is my favorite. I mean you can't go wrong with that combo. It's a generous portion side so good to split with friends. They also have a large wine menu and I've tried several that I've really enjoyed. Service is always friendly and helpful. In the summer the patio is lively and in the winter inside is cozy.

What a great spot to grab some drinks on the patio! I attended an event at wild carrot down the street, and we decided to continue enjoying Shaw at Sasha's. This was on a Sunday, the sun was out, and the weather was wonderful. We had a large party and were split up into a couple different groups (totally fine). The patio itself is large but the tables give a quaint vibe and are very garden-esque. Our server was super attentive and we told her we all wanted Pinot Grigio. She have her suggestions and we decided to go for the bottle since there were 3 of us. Presentation was wonderful and the wine was crisp and refreshing. No food this time but definitely will be back for more patio sits!

Sasha's on Shaw is always my go to wine spot. I normally get the chicken salad and ventured out and tried the Brie BLT and it was divine. Definitely get a seat on the patio no matter what the weather is. They even have heaters in the winter which makes it so cozy

I love Sasha's On Shaw, it is such a whimsical spot inside and out. I've been on many different occasions; brunch with friends, date night and mid-day patio hangout. Every time has been just as good as the last. Service is always on par even on the busiest of nights. This is the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy the moment. Drinks, small plates and entrees are all outstanding. I've never ordered the same meal twice, everything has been fresh and delicious.

This place is such a fun little spot. I called to see if they would help with a little birthday surprise for my best friend's 40th. They were so wonderful with helping. I brought in balloons early in the day and they so kindly set aside a table for us for late night drinks. The restaurant itself is so dang cute. The patio is a great pace to sit on a nice evening and have one co their many cocktails or a glass of wine. The food looked great! Had we not just gorged on dinner, we would've definitely tried some of their appeasing offerings. Staff was busy for the holiday weekend, service was a little slow. But it was a great time! We will definitely be back.

Ambiance is fantastic, very good for a date. The food is also lovely, especially the sandwiches. However the service the past times I have went has been INCREDIBLY slow.

Came before our reservation at Louie on a Friday night. It was busy but we were seated immediately. Really love this spot. Great wine (they had a dry riesling that was really good) and wonderful service. The bruschetta was awesome. It was raining; next time we'd love to sit outside.

Wow, do I wish I lived next to Sasha's so I could come back to this food all the time! Recently visited the St Louis area and tried hard to find some charcuterie for lunch and landed at Sasha's, so glad we did! We decided to go big and try a lot of different foods that Sasha has including a meat plate (charcuterie board), cheese plate (French tickler), mixed olives, and the Triple Crème crepe. The olives were so delicious and the light amount of citrus from the orange was surprisingly good and there dolma with the olives was a pleasant surprise. Absolutely loved all the cheeses but the chaumes took the lead. Used some of the Brie from the plate to add more Brie in the crepe (which was lost in the flavor of the crepe itself). The aged Spanish chorizo from Volpi was so delicious and I am super obsessed with the mustard provided. While I didn't drink, I heard no complaints on the wine selection and even recommendations from our server. We loved the ambiance of the location, though I would have liked a larger table for all the food we ordered. Great place, I'll definitely be back the next time in STL!

Always love this place! Open, natural light indoors (lots of windows), a great patio, food quality is consistent (delicious), the wine menu has plenty of options to suit each individuals' taste, yummy cocktails if wine isn't your thing, and the staff is always attentive and friendly. We shared a veggie flatbread (loaded with veggies and very filling!) and crab cakes... which I mean, yes, you want them. We were both "fathappy" before we left. Enjoy... Cheers!

I love their patio! This is a great place to come have a drink, chill out, and enjoy the day. Offering small bites, soup & salads, flatbread pizzas, various sandwiches, and crepes. There are options for everyone to enjoy, but my favorite is the drink menu selection! Highly recommend sitting outside and enjoying the atmosphere. I prefer this location over the one on De Mun aka Sasha's Wine Bar.

Sasha's on Shaw has a phenomenal patio. Who knew they had crepes? Because I was blown away by the salmon crepe. I'll be going back soon for the well crafted cocktails, delicious food, and patio vibes.

Cute wine bar with indoor and outdoor seating. They have an abundance of wine options and can offer assistance in choosing. Their espresso martinis are also delicious. I had the artichoke dip and had no complaints. It was tasteful and creamy. They also have late night happy hour starting at 9pm which includes half off wines on any bottle of wine they already have open and corked as well as $2 Busch and some other options! Service was a little slow but everyone was super friendly and they all support each other in helping give the best service to their customers as possible.

It was the perfect spring day to sit on the patio and enjoy a glass of white sangria and plate of Hummus. There was a huge magnolia in bloom, setting the perfect ambiance for a relaxing afternoon snack. The sangria was flavorful, refreshing and bright and complimented the Hummus well. I loved the generous amount of feta in the Hummus but always want more Kalamata olives. The servers were friendly and attentive. A great spot to include after a visit to the Botanical Garden.

Upon entering, we were greeted and sat quickly. They weren't very busy at 5:30 on a Wednesday. However, as the night progressed, it got busier and noisier, which we didn't mind. It's very dark inside, so you may need to use a flashlight to see the menu. We started with some small plates, hummus and veggies, and bruschetta. We didn't feel rushed but were confused about who our server was. There was some lag time for beverages, but when we ordered our entrees, we didn't wait very long. The food was so good! And you can't mess up a vodka/water and some wine. Great place for a ladies' night.

Sat outside with friends and shared some desserts and drinks. Would definitely give them 5 stars, but I don't feel like I really know them yet. Want to come back and order more off of their menu. The service was friendly and efficient. The cheesecake was to die for and the spritzes were perfect. I did go inside to use the restroom before leaving and found the inside to be PAINFULLY loud. Will keep that in mind when I come back. GREAT patio!!!

Stopped in for a quick drink and bite before heading to the airport. This gem is tucked into a residential area with a superb little patio in front of the restaurant. Great wine selection as you can imagine. The food is as good as the selection. I had the smoked trout and my beautiful friend had the brie BLT. Both were outstanding. Highly recommend if you are staying in the St Louis area.

Sasha's on Shaw is easily one of my favorite places in the Lou, especially in the winter; it has the coziest vibes! I've been in a couple times but last night was the first time I ordered food so it felt like the right time to review my friend and I both ordered wine as well as several small plates and everything was delicious. We had the bruschetta, goat cheese, charcuterie, and the pâté plate and while the bruschetta was my personal favorite, I really enjoyed it all! Our server was lovely and attentive and we were seated right away on a walk-in. I'd definitely recommend Sasha's on Shaw and will be back asap!

Went here for drinks to celebrate my friend's birthday. Parking on the street was easy and the outdoor patio is really nice. Their wine list is extensive, and thankfully one of my friends is a sommelier so he knew what bottle to order for us. Our server was very friendly, and checked on us a couple times even though we decided not to get any food.

What a restaurant! They have an incredibly many that has a diverse selection of both wines and food. I rarely order seafood in MO, but I've gotten the crab cakes twice now, and I can't wait to go back and order them again! We also ordered a vegetable flatbread pizza that was incredible. My partner and I split both dishes and it was plenty of food to leave us both satisfied and smiling. The service was great and very accommodating after we had a drink , and the ambiance was perfect for an early dinner on a nice spring afternoon.

Sasha's is the classic restaurant where the food and ambience are great but the service staff ruins it. For the last time (yes, it happened before and yet we returned), we were charged for a whole bottle instead of the glass of wine. But this time when I presented the check at the bar for correction, the employee shared it with the manager who made rude remarks, not realizing I was standing right there. I can't recommend them anymore because the staff is inattentive and rude. South Grand is full of wonderful restaurants, drive a few more minutes and avoid the condescending patronizing Sasha's will serve up.

Went to Sasha's for date night. Just doesn't miss. Had some glasses of wine. Denise does a great job curating the wine menu. The apple and prosciutto pizza was great. A little sweet and a little savory. Not very big though. Menu says 9 inches, but as you can see it's not a standard round pizza. Was still plenty for one person, although I split for two. We sat on the outdoor patio and there was live music. Service was quick and attentive. Will be coming back soon.

Patio vibes are immaculate. I got a glass of the orange wine, and it was a generous, delicious pour. We ordered the prosciutto and pear flatbread which was on the smaller side, but plenty. Service was great. Only reason that I didn't give 5 stars was because the live music was a little too loud for my taste. Overall, lovely evening.

Cute and fun spot in the middle of shaw! I love sitting outside when it's nice out. The have a nice selection of wine and last time we went, we ordered a few of their pizzas to share. There were 4 of us and we would recommend ordering 3 pizzas. The food was a bit slow to come out but otherwise the staff is very accommodating.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite to eat after an event down the street. I've been wanting to try it for awhile, so it was a perfect opportunity. It was a nice day so we sat on the patio, they had one server out there so it was a little slow, but we were enjoying the weather. I got a glass of wine and my fiancé had a can of beer, so standard drinks. We got the burger to split and honestly, it was probably one of the better beers we've had in STL. I wouldn't mind coming back for another one. Only complaint was it seemed a little steep for price once you added anything other than cheese. We'll definitely be back, Shaw has so much to offer and this is a great spot for a meal.

Finding street parking was not a challenge. The ambiance of Sasha's is cool, very relaxed, and lots of seating (indoor and patio) I've gone twice now and enjoyed my wines both times. The staff provided great recommendations. The food is good--not the best food ever but I usually come for the atmosphere anyways. The pizza is nice for one person and the sandwich was tasty as well. Overall if you're looking for a nice wine bar to spend time with friends with--I would recommend--the food is a plus but I wouldn't go here for the food alone.

One of my favorite things about summer is being able to sit on a patio and have a nice drink along with some good food. We had quite a time finding somewhere with an outside patio that was also still serving food along with drinks at 11:30 pm. So happy to find that Sasha's fit the bill. Apparently we weren't the only ones looking for late night food and drinks. When pulled up we could see that the patio and also the inside bar had a good amount of people. We found a place to park on the street and walked in. We were instantly greeted by a young woman behind the bar. She came to seat us and asked if we wanted inside our outside seating. We chose outside and she explained that if we wanted seating outside then we would have to come inside the bar to order. Not sure if this is typical or just because it was late night and that's how they roll at that time. It didn't bother us anyway and we went and had a seat outside. They have a large wine/drink menu as well as food menu. I will say that I did think the food was a bit pricey. I ordered the Volpi Salami & Fontina sandwich which I really liked. It was served with house made tator tots. My husband ordered a pepperoni pizza because he has to try out the pizza wherever we go. The pizza was good. It was thin crust which is what we prefer. It wasn't the best I've ever had but if we came back we'd probably order it again. I am sure we will visit Sasha's again, especially because of the late night food and drinks they offer that are so hard to come by these days.

The wine was absolutely delicious! The waiter gave us a great recommendation for a sweet red wine. The goat cheese dip was heaven! It has mango chutney on it and it was perfect addition! Our waiter was kind and did a great job of serving. The location itself was stunning! Big windows, wine room, and the setting had low lighting and a comfortable setting. Definitely will be back again!

I love this place! It's airy and breezy in the warm months, and cozy and relaxing in the cold months. I live the rooftop, it's a great place to hang with friends and have good conversation while not being drowned out by surrounding noises. The downstairs patio is also great to just relax across the street from the park, take in the views, and people watch, lol! My favorite thing about this place is that they kept my favorite crab and asparagus salad on the menu when Scarlett's by my place did not! They also have my favorite fondue, and a decent wine selection. They also have a phenomenal brunch...the crab cakes benedict are my favorite!!! It's absolutely delicious!!! I personally have never had an issue with the service, and the bartenders are great! It's perfect place for an after hour HH. Try it out!

I frequent the location in Clayton more often, but decided to visit this location with my friend for a drink on the patio. (This review includes the after effects from the storms on 7/1/23). The staff did very well with being accommodating while being short-staffed and working through the city-wide boil order! The chef could be seen working hard bringing in bottled waters. Everyone maintained great decorum, attentiveness to the customers, and overall provided a wonderful experience despite the effects of the storm. Thanks Sasha's staff for your hard work!!

Great experience as always. they were able to seat a group of 7 in just a few minutes. good prices may have gone up a little i think but just as yummy! cozy and intimate setting

I visited here the other night after work for a quick happy hour. It was cold out and kind of rainy so rather than sitting outside on their new and beautifully updated patio, we opted for a table inside. The menu is through a QR code and the girls working were helpful when it was time for ordering. I just opted for a glass of Syrah and I asked for the Tres Quesos cheese board. It was nice to sit and talk with my colleague without feeling like we would be interrupted. While the inside was busy, we still had privacy and our server(s) were super helpful and paid attention to our drinks to ensure we always had something in our glasses. It was a nice evening and I really can't wait to go back to sit on the patio on a nicer/sunnier day.

Have always had an amazing time at Sasha's! Perfect spot for a drink with the girls. They have live music on their patio some nights (which is absolutely beautiful), some great appetizers / crepes / entrees, and an amazing wine list extending from cheap to very nice wines.

What a great place to come for a cocktail a bottle or glass of wine . An extensive wine list . I ordered a barbera which was amazing! Nice offering if you would rather have a cocktail. Have a dessert with your drinks and what a win win! Even a gf dessert to offer those who look for that choice. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed attentive service, beautiful weather and a relaxing atmosphere! This is a must after a show, concert or just a place to sit, people watch and enjoy!

This is a nice wine bar, perfect for a more quiet/intimate night out. Or great with a group of friends as well. Lots of wine options, good variety both in price and quality. Service is good. They have iPads as their menus. But the best thing here is the carrot cake, in my opinion. Perfectly moist, good portion size, just so yummy!

The ambiance is wonderful. The food is pretty terrible. I ordered a Greek salad with salmon on top -- really hard to mess that up. For $30, I received an envelope sized plate of small dice tomatoes, red onions, and cucumber topped with an over cooked piece of cold fish. No detectable seasoning despite unremarkable Kalamata olives sprinkled around or the grocery store dolmas on the side. My friend got a crepe which was billed as cheese but ended up being mostly chutney, inelegantly cut apples, and a morsel or two of the cheese for which the dish is named. That plus a glass of wine ran us $80. The ambience is there and once the kitchen catches up, it will be great. For now, maybe just go for a drink.

I love this place, but went there for Mother's Day - was seated immediately and no big crowds was excited! Ordered a cpl of drinks, then 1 hour later they came to tell us they're slammed w a few big tables and sorry for the delay. 1 hour 45 min into it, no food "it'll be up soon" and just ordered 2 sandwiches and two salads. Didn't comp our bill, and never got served so we left. Walked down the street to Baileys Range and saw 2 other tables from Sasha's there as well. Never saw the manager never came out to say they were going to take care of us. So disappointing!

The vibe is classy while still being relaxed and unique. Decor is incredible. Service was good. Prices were a bit high but it's to be expected at a nice place like this. Food was good but not knock-your-socks off. I had the pesto pizza and my boyfriend had the crab cake sandwich. Will definitely go back for a nice date night again.

Great place for a casual night out. Really enjoy their moscato and had the best carrot cake ever! Really enjoy how they keep heat lamps and fire pits outside so you can enjoy the patio even on cooler nights.

Have been twice in the last 3 weeks after visiting the botanical garden. Beautiful patio and the service has been good. Love the great selection of wines. Charcuterie and cheese plate was generous for two. Look forward to trying more of the menu when we can stay longer for dinner.

In a fabulous sunny Sunday we enjoyed a yummy outdoor lunch after visiting the Botanical Gardens. My fondue crepe was delicious. My husband had a creative flatbread with Prosciutto, apple and cheese . Two winners . Service was attentive and cheerful.

My fave!! The most cozy atmosphere with a huge fireplace and lots of dark wood and mood lighting. The best place to hangout and share a bottle of wine with friends when it's snowy out. I also absolutely love their outdoor patio in the spring/fall/summer too!

Kitchen was open late, which was very much appreciated the night I went. Shots were also great!

Stopped in last night during our girls night after we heard good reviews and thrilled we did! Awesome vibe- not super packed and a great place for an intimate date or to catch up with friends. They have a super cute bar, a good amount of seating and even a fireplace in the corner. Excellent wine selection, but they also have a good amount of beers and cocktails. Decent prices, great hours and fantastic service. We will be back!
