Super nice staff, good breakfast, quiet and clean. Room for 3 person was big and had an extra sink apart from the toilet. It also had a place to dry the clothes we washed for free.

Our experience at Sasima House was amazing. Maple is the perfect host, we stayed just one night but it was like feeling at home. The room is huge - I would say it's a small apartment! Everything is so perfectly clean and you have all the comfort you need. Also the position is good to reach the center. Moreover, Maple and her brother offer a fantastic transport to airport. Last but not least, we loved Maple's cat - he also came to the airport with us! We definitely recommend this place to everybody!

Bad reviews are from 5+ years ago, and they are wrong. All the problems are resolved. I took a risk and booked here for 10 days. Very clean, good mattress, extremely friendly owner, not far from the centre, many good local restaurants around. Owner helped with transfer bookings and provided all the information needed. One of the best stays in the north for a good price.

We loved our stay here and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Our room was newly decorated, modern, very clean and the beds were so comfy! Maple is the most welcoming host and let us check in when we arrived early at 7am. Breakfast was delicious with many options and catered for my vegetarian needs. She also organised our minibus to Pai which picked us up from the house in the morning. Don’t forget her very cute cat🥰 It’s only a 10/15minute walk to the Night Bazaar and a short drive to the Old Town. Definitely recommend!

The owner of the place is very nice, the place is very convenient to the center, in my case I got the third floor without an elevator. The passage between the beds is very, very narrow, as is the passage between the bed and the kitchen or the bathroom and shower.

We returned to Sasima house after visiting 18 months ago. I think since our last visit some renovations have taken place and it's looking fresh and more open and inviting in the foyer. We had a family room - large double bed, single and had a roll away added for 4 of us; 3 adults and a child. WE love the location of Sasima, with the night market just around the corner. There is plenty of transport available being on the main road if needing to head further or to hot to walk. Parking is also available in the parking lot just across the road at 40tb per day/night. There is a small Big C supermarket just 2 mins walk away perfect for snacks etc The room was cool with the air con, TV had good reception, large fridge and large windows. Internet can be a bit hit and miss. The beds were nicely presented with towel swans and we slept very well with the beds not as firm as others we had slept in throughout our time in Thailand. No lift so ask for a low floor if required. Breakfast is basic but is included in the room price. Maple is very accommodating, so welcoming and helpful - organised a truck for us to the airport at a better price then we would have been able to. We spent most of our time in Chiang Rai but this has become our choice of places to stay when in Chiang Mai for just a night or two.

The staff was very friendly and helped us to book a jungle tour for a good price. The rooms where clean and comfortable. We got water, towels and even a hairdryer and a fridge were in the room. Bathroom was quite big and clean. The guesthouse is close to the Night Bazar which is perfect for dinner. Breakfast at the guesthouse costs 100 Baht which is totally fine. We were 4 people in a 3 bed room and got 1 extra bed. The room was still big enough for us. Laundry service was ok.
