Sasquatch Outpost – Bigfoot, Big Fun, and a Big Exhale from Real Life
Spent the 4th of July up in Bailey, CO, because sometimes you just need to ditch the chaos, breathe in that mountain air, and go look for mythical creatures. Naturally, we had to check out the Sasquatch Outpost, because if you’re going to decompress, why not do it with a side of cryptid curiosity?
This place is small but packed with charm—think: Bigfoot's personal gift shop meets cozy mountain town museum. Tons of souvenirs (yes, I bought stuff I didn’t know I needed), and the quality was actually great. Nothing cheap or tourist-trappy, which was a pleasant surprise.
We also checked out the little museum, and I gotta say—it was both fun and informative. Did I leave a believer? Maybe. Did I leave wanting a Bigfoot bumper sticker? Definitely. The staff was super friendly and helpful, too—clearly fans of both Sasquatch and customer service.
Bailey itself is a sweet little town with a whole lot of heart. If you’re ever in the Evergreen area and need a break from reality, this is a worthy stop. Great for families, Bigfoot fanatics, or just folks like me looking to walk off some stress in the mountains and maybe spot a furry legend.
