Delightful serene shrine focused on Inari. As such it is covered in thousands of tiny fox stateuttes. There is a small building selling amulets and goshuin. Echoing the much larger shrine in Kyoto Tori gates line a circular path up a hill. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area. When we were there it was very peaceful and beautiful. There is a very small little cave to you can sit at contemplate.

This is an amazing Shinto Shrine. Lots of red Tori Gates and hundreds of small fox statues. Smaller shrines surrounding the main one.

beautiful place. Kamakura was very busy that day but this place was quiet. not that many tourists around maybe because its a little walk from beaten paths. I would definitely recommend going .

Beautiful shrine in the middle of a residential area. We walked from Zeniara Benten Shrine, where we got a taxi to to avoid some of the climb; this shrine does climb too but it's well worth it! Beautiful white fox figures everywhere. When we visited this shrine we only saw 2 other people. A beautiful, peaceful and unique location worth a visit

It’s a steep climb but it’s worth it. We walked here from Kamakura station and it took around 15 minutes. The shrine itself is very small and when there are people around, it gets crowded quickly but most people move on fairly swiftly. There is a small shop, cash only. Most items are reasonably priced and there are English explanations/labels. I imagine the shrine looks very impressive when surrounded by the autumn leaves.

One of the best shrines to go to in Kamakura. Very peaceful and has beautiful Tori gate entrance. Also lots of cool Inari related charms along with a very nice landscape. I always come and visit this shrine when I am in Japan.

It was raining lightly when I went. A small shrine tucked in a really quiet area

This is a nice shrine. It is in a neighborhood so it’s not over crowded with tourist. There are a lot of Torii gates leading up to the shrine. There is a small paid parking lot near the shrine. If you navigate don’t drive all the way to the shrine there is no parking there. Park in the parking lot and walk through the neighborhood to the shrine.

Yelp
Sasuke Inari Shrine is a long walk uphill from Komachi Street, tucked away in a quiet residential area. The path is lined with Torii gates and thousands of fox figurines, whose significance I later discovered through Wikipedia--they hold deep historical meaning in Japanese folklore. It took us a loooooonnnnng walk (over 30 minutes) to reach the peaceful shrine. There's not much to share but lots of fox figurines spread throughout the area along the Torii gates.

Yelp
A little fox shrine located into the Kamakura hills, which you should rely upon any local guides for getting there, as Google maps made us go through several feet through the hillside until other travelers told us that there was an alternate route from the train station through several homes. At least we got some exercise from what seemed to be nearly an hour trying to find this shrine! We arrived at the back end of this shrine, given that we took the longcut from a hillside and descended down upon this place. We do not recommend you ever take this route unless you want some exercise! When you're near, you will notice possibly a million miniature ceramic foxes around the shrine. There are plenty of banners around the shrine to indicate you're close. If you take the conventional route to this (i.e. street route from several homes nearby), you will walk up to several red-orange torii gates. Upon climbing the stairs that are shadowed by these gates, the shrine is there for all to see! A local guide that works the shrine is also there, but didn't seek his assistance, partly due to us assuming he likely spoke only Japanese.

Yelp
This was a nice stop along our marathon of shrines and temples of Kamakrua. We did not spend a ton of time here as it was the end of the day and we still had a couple more stops to make. It is well worth a visit, but as we found with most shrines in Japan, be prepared to climb. The torii gates are neat and in a very beautiful setting.
