Google
Very cute little spot in the heart of Ogunquit. I had gingerbread, rasperberry whoopie pie, pumpkin pie and they're original donut. My favorite was by far the original, but each good and it was nice to have a taste of fall/winter in the summer time. I also got an iced coffee (which came with the original donut) which was a nice, standard iced coffee.

Google
Fine cake donuts. They are mini donuts, perfect size for kids or for adults to have maybe 2 each. But they only sell them in 3s. There are some fun flavors but nothing really blew me away. Perfectly average. Service was fast. It’s really just a hole in the wall kind of place, maybe 3-5 people could be in there at a time.

Google
Very small donuts, but really delicious. Taste like a cider donut with flavor. Iced coffee was good too. Kinda expensive but worth it at least once

Truly out of this world! My mum and I went here on vacation for snacks for after dinner. I chose cereal milk , raspberrywhoopee, and grasshopper pie. DefGod tier. Baker was lovely, i assume shes the owner. Told us basically everything including allergens. Not fried not greasy not insanely sweet but super flavorful. Best donut I ever had.

Google
Super cute place in town. Small sized doughnuts, which are the perfect size for that sweet craving. Good variety of flavors, and they give you a free one if you order a coffee! Parking not on site.

Alison Short

Google
Small donut shop & a great experience for our first time. The donuts were fantastic. They are small donuts: about an inch and a half diameter.

Anna Alfonso

Google
All cake doughnuts options that were dry. Got them in the morning, but they didn't taste fresh. Cutely decorated, but the flavors were mediocre. Not worth the price

Google
Very small shop, great service and fun sized donuts. The donuts were decorated very nice and extremely cute. I was slightly let down that they were all the same base kind of donut. Very cakey, but just made with different toppings. They were tasty and an overall good treat for the morning, but not quite what I had expected. Still though, worth stopping by this cute shop with great service.

Yelp
I rate this a 4.0 nothing higher nothing lower. Staff was quiet, but very nice. Very quick and easy to get what I wanted. Went in late morning and there was still donuts. Not too many flavors to choose from. My favorite was the pink frosted. Good price.

Yelp
Was super excited to try this charming little donut shop in the heart of Dock Square at the end of July. I had my young niece and nephew with me so the excitement was over the top for them! These mini donuts were so adorable visually..but so inedible..we all spit the donuts out after one bite. When little kids spit out donuts you know you have a problem. It is such a great idea, charming location, mini donuts ..Just make them delicious! This place has one job. Donuts..and they are awful. Do better!!!! I will say the young woman who waited on us was lovey. So kudos for that!

Susan B.

Yelp
Cute shop, but disappointed. In all fairness, we went later in the morning. I was expecting traditional size donuts. Maybe they sold out? All of the donuts were mini sized and they had neat flavors, but they were a little dry and expensive for what you got.

Jack H.

Yelp
OMG, best dark chocolate doughnuts ever, especially their toffee version. Satellite doughnuts are small, but the pricing is reasonable. Very pleasant service by a dedicated team of employees. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I was wandering the streets looking for coffee one fine summer morning when I was up visiting some friends. This was the first place I came upon that sold coffee. Small line, guy up front wanted an assortment of donuts but the girl waiting on him seemed perplexed by that. Finally got a coffee, and they stuck a little donut on top of the coffee stirrer which was super cute. Coffee tasted burnt. (I drink it black). Donut had almost no flavor. The dough was bland and the frosting was too. It was a cute pink donut and I was excited to try their stuff. My friends tell me some shops change each year and this will be one of them.

Kiki W.

Yelp
Tasted like hostess donettes. They were visually appealing but stale and bland. Definitely seems like a tourist trap!

Yelp
The cutest little doughnut shop in the port, Kennebunkport that is. Located up the small hill near Dock Square, in the perfect location for lots of foot traffic. It's usually got a line out the small front screen door, which isn't surprising by any means. They make the most wonderful mini doughnuts, and in the most amazing variety of flavors. My favorite is the cereal and milk, featuring the best cereal of all.. fruity pebbles. They have two that remind me of Girl Scout Cookies and I'm sure you can guess which... that's right ! Mint chocolate chip, and caramel coconut of course! They even have a potato chip chocolate choice! And a cookie dough that is to die for.. I can't say enough about this place, I can only say to let it speak for itself. Get down there and order some, heck order one of each kind they have on deck for the day! They rotate their varieties daily, so it's never the same, which to be honest, is sometimes a bummer. However no matter their line up, the product is always fire and on point. Their staff is always pleasant and polite, welcoming and friendly. Price points aren't bad either, they're about a dollar a doughnut plus you should always leave a small tip of course. I stop and get doughnuts for coworkers several times a week, and it never disappoints. They were closed last season and it's so good to see them back in the neighborhood!!! I'm going to put in some pounds this summer!! If you've never tried them, get down there and check it out!!

S P.

Yelp
Found a way to email them to ask about their hours/being closed for the season and never got a response at all. This business doesn't deserve your patronage. The ice cream shop next door isn't closed for the season, so why would you ever expect the donut shop to be - while proclaiming everywhere that they are open???

Alexandra L.

Yelp
The Quick: Adorable and yummy donut Shop ran by some awesome young women. Only open during the summer (for now!). Get the bacon and fruity pebbles! The Details: What a cute spot! The family owns a few amazing spots in Kennebunkport. Our local guide and bff Mary helped us find this gem. The maple bacon is a must try followed by the fruity pebble donut. They outsource the coffee to another local shop near by, which comes with adorable mini donut topper... Enjoy! The Damage: Can't remember but it was reasonable. Worth a stop.

Gary G.

Yelp
By far the highest cost per bite of any donut I've ever had (even higher than NYC), and not because of any special ingredients or artisan methodology. These are cute little donuts, about the size of a Hostess mini, and of similar quality-- maybe slightly more moist but still on the dry side. No seating. Visually pleasing product that's ideal for bridal showers or to impress a date. Not horrible by any means, but unremarkable and basically tourist trap gouging at its finest.

Michael P.

Yelp
These have got to be the cutest donuts I have ever seen. They are the perfect size as you never feel like you are committing to just one particular kind. We got a box of six - mixed and an iced coffee that came with a free donut on top. Such a fun little shop, the owner seemed to be loving life and I can see this concept doing really well. I must say that they were not the best donuts I have ever had. They seemed a bit harder than I would have liked from a fresh donut. The iced coffee was amazing and we sure got some great photos as everything is just cute!

Maureen W.

Yelp
The cutest little donuts! Lots of different flavors. These are nice because you can get your donut craving fulfilled - but with a few different flavors (try a few - they're small)! I really liked the blueberry pie flavor.

Alexandra N.

Yelp
Can I just start with: AREN'T THESE SO CUTE?? Satellite has the fortunate/unfortunate geographic position of being right next to the trendiest ice cream spot in Maine. It is what drew us in, as we had originally come for ice cream. I saw itty bitty tiny perfect donuts in the window and demanded a pit stop. They sell cute little packs of donuts and the donuts themselves were delicious. Not too sweet, wide variety of flavors, photogenic as heck, and almost reminded me of hostess powdered donuts with their texture and flavor. I didn't want to eat them for the rest of the day because I needed "the perfect photo" but eventually the donuts won and I ate them quickly. Definitely stop in here and wow your friends with the cutest lil donuts in Maine.

Angie L.

Yelp
I went here for Apple cider donuts. They were sold out. The girl working there assured us that tomorrow (Monday) from 8am-4pm they would be open and so we said ok we'll drive back and try again tomorrow. We arrived at 11am and the place was closed. Not just closed but never been opened. Shades down, totally dark and empty and non operational. The only sign they had up said: Monday 8am-4pmish No other sign or msg on any social media saying they would be closed in conflict with their hours. I feel betrayed and let down. Mostly because we talked to an employee that told us the hours face to face. We are from out of town so that was our last chance to go here. The experience obviously left a really bad impression and I won't be back because of it. Oh- and as for their donuts (I did have one when they were actually open) it was cakey and overly sweet. The shop is trendy looking but the product won't stand the test of time.

Lisa N.

Yelp
For such a fantastic little doughnut shop, I'm surprised there are only 18 reviews. We stumbled across Satellite Doughnuts entirely on accident, and it just happened to be National Doughnut Day so they were offering free doughnuts. I usually prefer yeast doughnuts over cake doughnuts, but aside from that I thought the doughnuts were good. The toppings help alleviate the usually dryness of cake doughnuts. The doughnuts are mini-sized, which is great because we could try more flavors. We picked up a 3-pack of cereal and milk, potato chip, and cookie dough. They were all good, but the cookie dough was our favorite.

Yelp
One of the few places we went to twice while on vacation. Great selection of doughnuts, very cute on the inside, super friendly staff/owner, and bite sized so you can try a variety of different flavors without feeling too bad about your lack of self control. Ambiance/service: The place is right on the main drag so great for foot traffic and right next to Rococo Ice cream so do what we did and just hit one right after the other. The inside was decorated very well. Blue wainscoting walls, white subway tile, just a very cohesive design; glad they took the time to pay attention to the details however slight. Service was super friendly, our first visit we got a chance to talk the owner Colby who had been open for about a week. Food: Depending upon when you get there you may not have many options available to you. Our 1st visit was around 3:30 PM, so there weren't many options. Our next visit was around 10:00 AM and the there were about 10 available flavors. All of the different flavors were good, but there were a few standouts. The lemon meringue was definitely the favorite, followed by the chocolate peanut butter, fruity pebbles, and the potato chip and chocolate doughnut. Overall: If you are in Kennebunkport, you'll be close to this place due to its central location, so walk your ass over there and try as many flavors as you like. I'm pretty sure 4 of their doughnuts may equal a normal size doughnut so live a little...you've earned it.

Shannon N.

Yelp
This place is the cutest little doughnut shop in Kennebunkport. It sells exclusively small doughnuts around the size of a mini muffin. The doughnuts are decorated amazingly, making you feel like you are at a gourmet shop. I personally love the size as it enables you to try several flavors. I recommend the lemon meringue and the Oreo!

Onur D.

Yelp
Great little donuts. We have tried a few different varieties and my favorite is bacon maple. Like other fellow yelpers said, it's a cute little shop. They are offering small selection of fresh donuts.

Kamila A.

Yelp
Donuts are stale. Also not homemade. They sell food from days before it was "fresh" (was never fresh) and don't advertise to customers that it is old. Do not go here unless you want to eat overpriced garbage.

Nerd Girl C.

Yelp
If you call buying hostess donuts and enhancing them a donut shop, this is place is for you

Angela M.

Yelp
I cannot, for the life of me, understand Satellite's rating. Is it because they're hip/trendy and literally the only place to get donuts in town? We stoped in because of the ratings and were really underwhelmed. We tried a whole bunch of flavors and for some reason thought it was worth paying $22.50 for 25 donuts? They're donut hole size, and more cake like than donut like. They didn't have much left by the time we got there but we tried: mocha, original, sugar chocolate, vanilla sugar, strawberry mascarpone, blueberry, and probably a few others that were definitely not memorable. They all had the same base flavor of donut. Crumbly and overall not great. They went stale pretty quickly too. None of them actually had filling in them which I was expecting for the mascarpone and blueberry but alas, just on top. By the end of the night when we got back from our concert, they were stale. To say I was disappointed is a huge understatement.

Danielle O.

Yelp
We made a trip down to Kennebunkport simply to try Satellite Donuts out and it was totally worth it! The flavors they offer are amazing and the quality of the Donuts are just out of this world! The staff was welcoming and friendly while wing super efficient! We're glad we got to get some on the last opening day! Overall absolutely delicious and creative. We'll be back!

Katie P.

Yelp
Cute little doughnut shop in the even more adorable downtown Kennebunkport. Stopped here on our way to get ice cream (don't judge...I had a salad for lunch, okay?). What drew me in was how tiny the doughnuts are but they resemble full-sized doughnuts in every way but size. To top it off, they're served in cardboard produce boxes like you would get at the farmer's market. Talk about a food photographers dream! Even if you don't like doughnuts you could literally go for the 'gram. Anyway, we tried he cookie dough, chocolate with sprinkles, and the raspberry truffle at the suggestion of the girl working behind the counter. The first two were our favorites as we're not huge fans of preserves which is exactly what was in the raspberry truffle doughnut. There were a lot of flavors and I would definitely return to try others.

Yelp
Very pleased with my first experience at Satellite Doughnuts! I got a cold brew coffee and a box of twelve doughnuts, and everything was up to standard. The coffee was excellent, and it came with a free donut on the straw, an adorable touch. All of the doughnuts were both beautiful and tasty, and the staff was very friendly. The owner is the daughter of the owner of the Clam Shack, another extremely successful restaurant in Kennebunkport. I have high hopes for the future of this place!

Jessica B.

Yelp
Perfect bite size treat! Reasonably priced. All coffees come with a plain sugared donut. Can get a strawberry basket full of donuts for around $6. Great little find in Kennebunk!

StriperGu Y.

Yelp
The donuts are nothing special. But they do charge $1.50 per donut for minuscule donuts that are smaller than an old fashioned silver dollar. Even if you spring $4.75 for a mini "box" and get three donuts, you are still not getting one normal sized donut. Head on over to Biddeford and get some wonderful old-school donuts at 1/8 the price.

zagat r.

Yelp
Definitely worth checking out! Right in the town center, very Instgrammable. My daughters and I love it, the doughnuts are adorable and very well decorated. The store is clean and quiet. The only, minor, downsides are the price and hours. They are a little bit expensive, about $2/donut. You can save on them by buying in bulk or getting a pack of day-olds for half the price. Although I'm not sure of the exact hours they definitely don't seem to stay open very long so plan ahead. :)

Todd M.

Yelp
Meh. These fancy tiny overpriced cake donuts look way better than they taste. I love a good cake donut but this wasn't it. Value = 1 star. I went 3 stars because after all, they are donuts. We left after six mini donuts less than a bite each and headed to Congdon's Doughnuts in Wells for the real deal.

Liela A.

Yelp
Cute donut shop with a variety of flavors. Was a great place to stop for a sweet breakfast treat while visiting. While the donuts themselves are not the best I've had in my life, they are tasty and the atmosphere is nice.

Mairead S.

Yelp
6 mini donuts $7.50....they were really dry and crumbly. Over priced and not worth it.

Erika F.

Yelp
So tasty and fresh! We picked up a box of mini donuts which disappeared fast from our hungry crew on vacation. Priced fair and obviously made with attention and love. My favorite was the peanut butter on chocolate cake donut. Make plans to go early in the morning since the shop is small and is right in downtown Kennebunkport.

Jackie D.

Yelp
Donuts are awesome. Customer service was lacking. Nonetheless, I would reccomend. We love the size of the donuts. Easy to sample and good variety of flavors.

Hannah D.

Yelp
Adorable mini donuts! Many great flavor combinations, although they were all a little on the dry side. Still worth a try for any donut lover in Kennebunkport! We had the original, chocolate espresso, and strawberry mascarpone- loved them all, especially the original and chocolate espresso.

Anhtuan D.

Yelp
Wonderful donut shop. They have different mini donuts everyday and you get a donut with each coffee that you order. We went there everyday on vacation.

A J.

Yelp
The doughnuts look really cute but unfortunately there was nothing special. We had the raspberry filled and marzipan doughnuts. Raspberry jelly was just regular jelly taste. Marzipan filling did not really taste like marzipan.

AB C.

Yelp
Bland donuts but I love the concept, employees were nice, and it's a cute spot. Maybe I went at a bad time but I wasn't impressed. $1.50 per mini donut - very reasonable considering its prime location.

Art M.

Yelp
The donuts are delicious and the biggest problem is choosing - they have great variety and all taste great

Mike C.

Yelp
GREAT place for bite sized donuts that are unique and yummy. You just have to stop here even if just passing through.
