It is a "hidden" gem. What a moment, to spend time on the patio looking at the Sunset with your wife, friends, a big table and cold drinks after a day of sailing. Inside it's a nice place, plenty of tables and live music. Just be careful with the bill. The cider said on the menu $9 and was charged $10. The food was regular, nothing out of this world, just normal over used oil frits like onion rings, frites and fish and chips. I guess one can have it all .

The location is beautiful, and it's one of the only options for dining out on Saturna. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience due to extremely slow and inattentive service. It seems like there are definitely some new people on the team, so I tried to be patient. Plus, we're on island time, so no rush. But this was next level slow. We got a seat and menus right away and initially things were good. We enjoyed the view and chatted, but 15 minutes passed before we got a chance to place an order for drinks. This is where I made a mistake, I should have ordered everything at once. We then waited another 30+ minutes to order food. We're 45 minutes in and all we have is are two nearly empty cups and an order in with the kitchen. Or so we thought. I should mention 3 different people interacted with us during the visit. One younger gentleman and two ladies. After another 30 minutes, one of the ladies came up and asked us if we wanted to order any food. I told her we had placed an order with the young man. She said she would check to make sure the order got placed. Apparently it didn't, so that explains part of the wait. We were starving at this point since we had arrived hungry. Thankfully we ordered water with our drinks, but even that was empty at this point and no refills were offered. The food came pretty quick after that, I would say about 15 more minutes. The younger gentleman dropped it off without a word or any cutlery. No ketchup, naptins, salt, vinegar, etc. I asked for some of these items, primarily utensils and it took another 10 minutes for those. After a few minutes of waiting, we just decided to eat with our hands. I also did not receive what I ordered, but we didn't bother mentioning it. I wanted an appetizer of onion rings and an order of fish and chips, but got fish and onion rings subbed as a side instead. At this point I didn't care enough and just asked for the bill. I only tipped 10% because of the ladies, if the fellow had delivered me the bill it would have been one of the few times I would give no tip at a restaurant. We arrived at about 5:15pm and left at 7:25pm. We wolfed down our food in a couple minutes. On the plus side, the food was fairly good. I had wanted to try the chocolate lava cake, but we had to get going since we took the boat over and I didn't want to get caught out on the water at dusk. We made it back just in time for the sunset. It's worth going here once for the view and ambiance, but I don't know if we'll be back anytime soon.

My wife and I had a lovely time at the pub! Incredible location even seeing a seal whilst there. The ferry staff also came right to the table so it’s a great place to wait for the ferry. The service was great and very accommodating with switching tables. The food was good, nothing crazy. Definitely recommend the fish and chips!

What an awesome place to eat while you wait for the ferry. Not a huge menu but everything is tasty. We sat out on the patio, amazing views.

Best place om Saturna for sunsets. Menu is a bit burger heavy, I think it had more variety a couple years ago but food was tasty and generous. We were there before the Sunday night ferry so the place was hopping, then cleared out when the ferry arrived.

Unfortunately our server was not great. It took a long time to get menus and then a long time to get drinks. I'm gluten intolerant and when we asked what was gf, he said... water, but not in a funny way. Fries are not gf so I had salad and they do have gf buns. But he then said the burger sauce wasn't gf so I ordered without it and no onions. When it arrived, both were on the burger. He didn't offer ketchup to those having fries, so they had to ask. And he never came back. Someone else cleared and when we wanted to pay, we went to the bar to get our bill. We know people who go often and love it, but we did not have a great experience.

It's a nice little bar, restaurant. There was live music and a sunny day to sit on the deck. The food was good, not great. The service was good, not great. But still a good experience.

The food here is reasonably priced given the remote location. Some dishes such as the burgers were quite good, especially the salmon burger where they give u a big chunk of salmon fillet and not a patty. The chicken wings were so over cooked that they were dry around the bone. Also, the service is on the poor side. Slow and lack attention to details. There were no vegetarian items on the menu and I tried to substitute the burger patty for a vegetarian option. They said it was fine. But when my burger came out it had a veggie patty with bacon on it. I was unable to eat my lunch. Did not want to send it back for a replacement as I already waited 35 min for that one and would have missed my ferry. Would return for a drink at the bar since they have a good alcohol selection but will skip the food.

Yelp
We love this spot and try to go there each time we are in Victoria.... living as we do in splendid retirement on south PENDER Island....

Yelp
Came here for dinner 3 nights in a row. Halibut and chips, halibut burger, fried brussel sprouts, calamari, french onion soup, lamb burger, fish chowder, and mussels were all great, freshly prepared and served by very pleasant servers. Portion size and value were both above average. Great views and open until 11PM. Only choice for evening meals at this time but no regrets.

Yelp
I have been coming to Lighthouse Pub for the past seven years. This year I noticed a definite improvement. The beer is consistently good (I like their IPA best) and the patio is great. But this year the food was noticeably better. My entire party noticed the difference. I really appreciated that we were able to enjoy our meal and then approach the bar when we were ready to leave to pay our tab. Service was excellent. Yes, there are not many choices for dining on Saturna Island. But you will enjoy Lighthouse Pub.

Yelp
After a long day of cycling it was quite a pleasure to find this pleasant pub at the waterfront. Good beer, very good fish and chips, and fine service. I look forward to returning.

Yelp
Came by boat from Mill Bay. Handy dock next to ferry terminal...., great view and a real quaint spot. Service was excellent. Food....incredible. We will be back, one of the nicest patio views in the world IMHO.

Yelp
We spent a day on Saturna and fell in love with the island. We had lunch at the pub and came by later for appetizers. The food was surprisingly good, even excellent in the context of pub grub. Our party of 3 had a burger and a couple of different fish burgers. The fish was especially good, fresh and not over cooked. Nice attention to detail in the seasonings and sides. Everything was very fresh which came as a bit of a surprise in such a remote location. There is abundant deck seating and a spectacular view. There is no smoking inside or on the deck which was greatly appreciated. Service was casual but very friendly and suitably attentive. The draft beer was also worth noting. They have a half dozen craft brews from a brewery on Vancouver Island. I tried the stout which was terrific. A surprising offering in such a location.

Yelp
Made a reservation have pictures to prove one was made, they didn't have reservation on file had to cram onto a small table that maybe could fit 6-8 comfortably, waitress smelled like pot, drinks were alright and out of the group of ten maybe 3 were satisfied with how their food tasted. I literally signed up just to make a review of this place I was that disappointed.
