Saucy’s is a quiet little Thai restaurant that seats 40 or 50 with a simple atmosphere and very good food. I had the Massaman Curry and sticky rice and it was absolutely delicious; with a creamy and peanut-flavored curry and (I chose) shrimp and veggies. Every bite was savory and lightly sweet and so, so good. The restaurant only had 4 other guests during my visit but they seemed like regulars who knew the drill. Besides great food, they also have a fully stocked bar with beer, wine, and spirits. Parking is easy -they’re in a little shopping center, so there are plenty of spots. And the service is friendly, attentive, and helpful. They greeted and seated me right away, took my order just as soon as I was ready, and my drink was never empty. I would have loved to try more but I was so full it’ll have to wait for another time. I’ll definitely remember this place!

Returned to this after more than 3 years based on the recent good reviews. Our experience was similar to last experience where items were hit or miss Ordered : Pad Ke Mao with Tofu and Pad ke Mao with Chicken and Yellow fried Rice ( spice 4 on all them) Taste: Pad Ke Mao was very average and lacked flavor. Chicken was barely added. Yellow fried rice on the other hand was the best by mile, had great flavors. Service : placed online order and it was ready by the I got there. Overall I will be careful on what I order here. It has been hit or miss

First time coming here with my dad it was soooo good I’m glad I was able to come!!! Everyone here was so amazing and kind I high recommend coming here for a quick lunch because they bring out their food so fast it’s crazy they were busy but we still got our food fast! I love it here 💕

We had a great meal at a local Thai restaurant with a variety of lunch specials. We arrived at 2:30 PM, just before they closed for lunch at 3 PM, and felt a bit rushed to finish as customers kept coming in even after closing time. Despite the rush, the food was excellent, and we enjoyed our experience overall.

We got the pineapple curry and the Thai noodle soup. The Thai noodle soup was very flavorful. It came with rice noodles. It was just a bit spicy, but not too much. The pineapple curry was very creamy and flavorful. It was my favorite item. Had a bit of a kick to the spice. It paired well with tofu. The tofu just absorbed a lot of the curry and made it very saucy. Overall, the food was great. I enjoyed my Thai tea as well. It wasn't too sweet like other places I've tried and was just right.

My husband and I came here for lunch and the service was excellent. Our server brought water with lemon in these cute little mason jar mugs. Though the service was great The food was a disappointment. Everything was super salty and lacked flavor. The chicken had a foul smell to it. We had the soup and we each had an entree. The chicken in everything we ate was gross. I don't think we will come here again because the food was not fresh. And on our way out I pointed a roach to the server to which he looked very embarrassed.

Google
The food was really good. We came here on whim on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. It was really easy to get in, seated, and served. They have really cool art on the walls. Small place but very comfortable. No kids' menu, but the waitress helped us find something my kid liked. Canned sodas no fountain drinks. Thai ice tea was good. I wasn't a huge fan of the Pad Thai, but the Wonsen was really decent. Pad See Ew was really good.

This is casual/low key restaurant in a modern strip mall. The greenery and decor make it pretty cozy. We order pho/Vietnamese soup. It was a generous portion at good price.

Yelp
Since moving to the Dallas area recently, we have been on the hunt for a solid Thai place to satisfy our cravings and Saucy's might be the one! We will definitely be back. We tried to come here once before but they happened to be closed due to technical issues, but luckily our second try was a success. They initially seated us at a table right under a fan and when we remarked that it was a bit too cold, they kindly allowed us to switch tables. We kickstarted our meal with the chicken satay which was so flavorful. Then, I got the kao soi (level 2 spice) and my fiance got the pad kee mao (level 2 spice), both of which are favorite Thai noodle dishes of ours. The pad kee mao was so delicious, and my kao soi was very warm and hearty though I would probably opt for level 1 spice next time (that's just me haha). For dessert, we tried their sweet sticky rice with mango which was perfect!

Yelp
A rainy Friday night and a need for pho. The place is SO busy. The phone is ringing off the hook nonstop. In the hour that I'm there, about forty people pile in for to go orders. I ordered crispy spring rolls, four come an order. They are perfect! The brisket pho was very good. The brisket is fatty and tender. The veg all very nice and fresh. The broth was okay....not the most elegant or fragrant, but okay. Overall a nice dinner and I look forward to returning.

Yelp
My go-to dish here is the Thai boat noodles. Its not on the menu but they always have it. The broth is sooooo flavorful and Rich. Plenty of sliced beef and beef meatballs in there that i always struggle to finish. The soup is served with a plate of bean sprouts and herbs. I like to put all of that in the bowl so that the heat can cook them. The Thai sausage is also super herby and flavorful. Just the right amount of complexity and snappy casing of the sausage makes it a very interesting mouth feel, in a good way. Came on a week night for dinner and the restaurant does a lot of takeout orders. Service was prompt and mostly it's older couples or family that eat there. Very fast casual, you don't need to dress up at all. I come here probably about once a month. Hits the spot every time!
google avatar

Aqsa T.

Yelp
My friend and I were obsessed with this place. We ate here about once a month and would have eaten here even more if we had the choice to. The older gentleman provides amazing service, has always been kind, and has even remembered us. The food is amazing, but when my friend and I came here last time we both had insane food poisoning. We were throwing up and having body aches for multiple days. It was a truly heartbreaking experience since we thought so highly of the restaurant. This type of food poisoning was unimaginable, with both of us completely unable to get out of bed unless it was to throw up. 2 starts because I love them, but also because that type of food poisoning HAS to be from some sort of negligence.

Yelp
recently visited Saucy's Thai & Pho, and I must say, it was a delight from start to finish! From the flavorful appetizers to the sweet and satisfying desserts, every dish was expertly prepared and presented. I started with the Gyro from the appetizer menu, which was a great choice. The meat was tender and juicy, and the flavors were well-balanced.The entree i tried the Papaya Salad, which was fresh and spicy,The combination of crunchy papaya, peanuts, and chilies was perfect, and the flavors were bold and exciting. Finally the real star of the show was the Mango Sticky Rice dessert. It was love at first bite! The combination of sweet, juicy mango and creamy, sticky rice was absolute perfection. The coconut milk added a richness and depth of flavor that elevated the dish to a whole new level.Spice level can be adjusted. The service was also good ,our server was friendly and attentive, and the food was delivered promptly. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out with friends.Ambiance was good dining area is clean, well-lit, and comfortable.

Yelp
Great service, good food and friendly/clean environment. No mixed drinks on the drink menu. Will come back again soon!

Yelp
Best Thai ever....service is 8/10, prices are 8/10 and food is 10/10! Basil fried rice, drunken noodles and any curry is always a hit!

Yelp
Busier than I thought it would be on a weeknight. Service is pretty prompt. I don't eat thai food a lot even though I do like it. Ordered Pad woon sen with chicken and no spice (glass noodles, $14). I think there were 3 levels you could choose? Ok it was fine but not my favorite, but maybe it's because of the glass noodles, which I'm not the biggest fan of. Maybe I need some spiciness for the noodles. So probably my ordering choice. It's a giant portion and definitely should've saved some for the next meal. But I finished it all and felt full. Someone in my party ordered a dish with seafood, which is +$5. Eh not really worth it in my opinion. Other people liked their curry and pad thai. It seems like a popular place.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazeballs . They always make the broth just like I want it and their salad rolls are spectacular. I also really liked their rice it was really good

Yelp
Just based on prior Yelp reviews and in the mood for Thai food we came here. Not disappointed. Good table service and prompt serving of food. If asked how spicy one wants food on 1-5 scale go for 1 at first and work your way up as taste buds adjust. Refill ice teal glass without being asked. Nr. of takeout customer and nr. dined in. See photo. Need to come back M-F lunch hr for soup to go with meal. Meat options is chicken, port, veg.

Yelp
If you cannot decide between Thai or Vietnamese food, this place is the way to go! I was skeptical at first because how can a restaurant succeed in 2 tasty cuisines?! I'm glad I was wrong! My fiance ordered the pho bo (Viet), and I ordered the drunken noodles (Thai). Both dishes were phenomenal! Between the 2, I would order the drunken noodles! The service was great, and the interior was nice and clean!

Yelp
It's Thai and pho but I've never had the pho. The pho is listed on the menu as a single item with "beef" compared to Vietnamese shops where you can choose from combinations of meatball, steak, tendon, tripe, etc. so I'm never really tempted by their pho. I think it's like going to a steakhouse for salad--it could be good but why would you? The Thai on the other hand is quite good. A point of interest is that unlike the halal shops that include beef, beef is an upcharged here but pork and chicken isn't. So, when I come here I typically order the dishes I prefer with those meats--pork pad see ew, panang curry pork, green curry chicken, kao soi pork, and chicken pad Thai--and for all these dishes, Saucy's is excellent. I save the massaman curry for the halal places since I prefer beef with massaman. I have also on occasion tried the mango sticky rice, Thai ice coffee, and spring rolls which were all great as well.

Yelp
I've been trying all the thai spots around Plano cause i'm trying to find a place to satisfy my cravings for thai food without driving all the way out to carrollton. Unfortunately, Saucy's wasn't it for me :/ i love spicy and tangy thai food...but Saucy's just didn't pack the flavor punch that i was looking for. I ordered the Basil Fried Rise and Tom Yum Gai. I love that you can add pho noodles to the tom yum soup - cause seriously all tom yum soups should have noodles imo. However, the Tom Yum wasn't sour enough for my taste. it was just a spicy tomato broth. Couldn't really taste the basil either in the fried rice. it wasn't bad, but just tasted of regular fried rice. i stir fried it again the next day and added more basil and a fried egg and it was 100x better. Ordering was easy and service was good, but not my top choice for thai in the area.

Yelp
My son and I ordered Thai Fried Rice with shrimp and chicken satay as an appetizer. My son loved his dish while I thought my dish was just okay. The service was non-existent. We were not approached at the front to be seated but instead waved back to our table. My son was only offered a water refill once we received the check. There were two other parties dining, so it wasn't busy. I won't return when there are better choices closer to home.

Yelp
I really liked the pad sea ew here! Large portions and a good amount of meat and veggies. Also the noddles tasted appropriately charred! It was clean inside and the server was really friendly!

Yelp
Very good!! Great price, great food - especially the Pad See Ew. We live in LA and had yet to have Thai food in Texas when visiting family before today. Did some googling and this place had good reviews and wasn't too far away. But we kept our expectations low. We were very impressed!! The food had a great flavor and at a great price. Will definitely be coming back. We got Pad Thai (very good), Mango Sticky Rice (very good), and Pad See Ew (excellent!!). Only caution is that we asked for spice level 1, and it was still noticeably spicy. If you want no spice, recommend asking for a 0.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
Just wow! Went to this place on a lark and was very impressed. The dishes and ingredients are fresh and distinctive. While I love to try various Thai dishes, an easy go to is pad see ew. It's reliable and hard to mess up. You wouldn't think it could be that exciting...but Saucy's take on pad see ew is the ONLY version of that dish has come close to the same dish at my favorite Thai place in Addison that shut down in the early 2000s. It's cooked perfectly and the flavor is the exact same. I'm kinda convinced the cook from that restaurant must be here! My partner ordered the cashew chicken and veggies. He enjoyed it a lot and said it was excellent. This is coming from someone who rarely says more than "it was fine or pretty good" with food. We also ordered the cucumber salad and lettuce? rolls as appetizers. Both were great but I did prefer the cucumber salad out of the two. Service was friendly, our waters were never empty, and the place was very clean and inviting. We're ready to go back and try the curries! Saucy Thai is definitely a gem.

Yelp
Not new to Thai food, but first time at Saucy's. My daughter who lives in Plano recommended it saying it was her favorite, so I was interested. It was a Tuesday night, so the place wasn't too busy. The wait staff was awesome. Our waitress gave us the rundown of menu options and her solicited recommendations once she learned it was my first time there. I had the Panang Curry (Thai hot) and my daughter had fried rice (2 star) and we shared fresh roll for appetizer. Everything was fresh with good portions. After we were done I told my daughter that this was definitely on my list of favorite food places in Plano.
google avatar

Sruthi K.

Yelp
This is a good spot if you're wanting spicy Thai food or something vegetarian or both. I love spicy food and ordered a level 5 Pad Kee Mao and the spice level was perfect. In most places when I order a level 5, there is a hint of spice, but here there is a real kick. They also have chili flakes and chili oil on the side to add yourself. Also most dishes here can be made vegetarian if you needed! Other than that I ordered the Thai tea which I enjoyed and came in cute little mason jar. The vegetable spring rolls were a good appetizer, but the peanut sauce that came with it was a little sweeter than my liking. Overall the service was good and fast. The decor in the restaurant wasn't anything crazy, but overall def recommend trying this place out!! :D
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
First off, I've only ordered delivery and take out from here, so can't comment on anything other than food. My regular orders are pad kee mow with pork and green curry with chicken, both at a spicy level 3. I think both dishes are delicious, with excellent protein to vegetable/noodle ratio.
google avatar

Nathan K.

Yelp
Excellent across the board. The Chicken Satay was very flavorful even without sauce and the Pineapple Curry was just as delicious. A tad on the spicy side, but the taste nonetheless kept me coming back. Like a toxic relationship. The Mango Paradise was a little underwhelming compared to the other two dishes, but on its own was very well balanced with loads of shrimp. Everything was justly priced and extremely satisfying. Service was accommodating and the seating was ample. In the time of our meal, easily 10+ people cane through with takeout orders, yet it didn't affect their speed. Delicious all round.

Yelp
Great Tasting Thai food! Small place that's maintained very well. Decent options to choose from! Staff is very nice, wait time is not too long!

Yelp
Did take -out! They NEVER disappointment. SPRING ROLLS - Always Good Green curry - perfect amount of spice Very generous with portions. Also customer service is always friendly. It's a 5 star for me

Yelp
In search of the best Pad Thai in the area. The reviews and pictures of Saucy's Thai and Pho (Fuh [sounds like fur]) looked good, so I gave it a try. Got there at around 11AM. on a weekday, only two tables were occupied, I thought uh-oh. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp, and an order of chicken eggrolls. My waiter was helpful and friendly. He brought me a complementary bowl of Tom Yum soup, which I thought was tasty. The Pad Thai (spice level 2) was good. Level 3 probably would have been okay as well. However, I did think the dish was a little too wet. Although I am new to Thai food, my limited research indicates Pad Thai should not be overly wet. My son, who arrived late, ordered the Pad Thai as well. It was his first time trying the dish, so I asked the waiter if they could make his a little less wet. They happily did so. My son thought it was very good. Ambiance is pretty good. This not busy restaurant became busy before we left, with every table full. I would stop here again and recommend it to all.

Yelp
Everything I've tried here has been pretty good. Love the Tom Kha soup and spring rolls. Intimate space to carry on conversation and hear one another well. Decent wine selection and owner-Dan-and his family are super friendly. Enjoy!

Yelp
Food - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Saucy Thai & Pho is a cute little Thai restaurant with delicious food that packs a lot of flavor. My sis had the Thai tea ($3) that was made to perfection and the panang shrimp curry (spice level 3). Her curry was some of the best she's ever had. I had the seafood pad thai with scallops, shrimp, muscles and octopus. It was absolutely delicious! Now for the drinks, Saucy Thai no longer has a full service bar, but they do offer beer and wine for $7.
google avatar

Alisha D.

Yelp
This is a great Friday night spot. The environment makes this very first date friendly and the noise level allows you to easily have a conversation with someone else. I had the green curry and it was spicy as promised. Be careful with the heat levels here. Spicy means spicy. I'll be back!
google avatar

Taylor M.

Yelp
Saucy's has been such a great to come and enjoy delicious Thai and Pho at. My boyfriend and I have been coming here nearly 2x a week we love it so much. We have tried a variety of dishes there and have not once been disappointed. Pho, pad Thai, pad woon sen, Kao Kai, orange chicken, summer rolls with shrimp, steamed dumplings(my personal favorite) and fried ice cream. Can't wait to try more! I would also like to mention the service. The waiters are so attentive and kind. They go above and beyond to make sure your experience is top notch and leave satisfied. 10/10
google avatar

Coleen R.

Yelp
I am giving this two stars because of the red snapper. I had called in an order and asked for a main fish dish and they said they had whole red snapper. I was in a hurry and didn't think it would be expensive so I said I would take it. They did not tell me how much my order was before we hung up and just said my order would be ready in 20 minutes. When I got there, to my surprise the total cost was not was i expecting at all. I could have asked how much my order was prior or how much the fish was but they should have also told me how much my order would be before I arrived. I couldn't cancel because they had already made it. Arriving at home, the fish was over cooked and very dry. I was disappointed for paying what I paid and for it not even being good. I do love this place and have ordered other things here like their Tom Kha soup and green curry which are both good. But not the red snapper.
google avatar

Maya T.

Yelp
I came here for lunch on a Saturday and it did not disappoint. We were a bigger group and the service was on point. My daughter's loved the sticky rice with heavenly beef. The pad Thai with chicken was perfectly seasoned and spice level was on point. Can't wait to go back and try dishes with more heat. I did a 0 on the pad Thai since my daughter's also wanted noodles.
google avatar

Jasen Y.

Yelp
Best Thai food in DFW... I have tried almost every appetizer and dish there. It was all better than anything I have had in the area (I have been searching for years). My favorite is the Tom Ka soup, Panagn curry, and Pad Ke Mo (drunken noodles).

Kai L.

Yelp
So yummy!!! Really flavorful but also light Larb Kai -- my bf was obsessed Meatball Pho -- broth was delicious and meatballs were nice and bouncy Service was quick, clean, lighting and ambience was great, and everyone was super nice

Yelp
We needed Pho and found this place here on Yelp. My daughter has lived in Allen, TX for 2 years and hadn't really looked for a pho restaurant. This one had good reviews and 4+* and it was on my son-in-laws way home to pick it up. I called to place my order and the gentleman who answered and took my order was very kind and appreciative of me ordering from his establishment. We had Chicken Pho, Brisket Pho, Orange Chicken and Salad Rolls. I have to say we were all pleasantly pleased. It was so yummy, and even quite hot when it arrived home. Everything was packaged nicely and orderly. Nothing was missing. The Orange Chicken had slices of carrots, broccoli, few slices of onion and quite a bit of orange chicken and a side of white jasmine rice (came in those super cute take out boxes). Our Pho was shareable by my husband and I as we also shared the orange chicken. The salad rolls come with 3 whole rolls and are nicely stuffed with lettuce, rice, carrots and a whole basil leaf and peanut dipping sauce. Our kids said they would order from Saucys again as we will when in Texas. Our bill total for all was around $74. Not to bad for all our yummy food!! Sorry can't tell you about the store as I didn't pick it up.

Yelp
Continue to be a great place to dine, even for small meals. Love their pho, and rolls. This time when we visited we only got rolls and pho to go; service was fast and friendly.

Yelp
Food poisoning!!!!! We have eaten here several times over the years. However we went a year recently without eating here after getting blah food and having upset stomachs after eating it a couple of times... and the roaches in the restaurant grossed us out as well. About a month ago we tried it again and it was okay, not great but okay. So this past weekend we ordered it again due to my pregnancy craving for Thai food... both my husband and I got violently ill with extreme food poisoning. My food tasted old, like it was made two days ago old, but I was hungry so I ate it thinking it could just be my taste buds. My husband only had a couple of bites and knew it was bad, said it tasted like a grease fire smells... (this was after I ate mine). I am pregnant and spent all night very sick and couldn't eat or drink anything for another day due to the trauma my body went through after eating this food. Thank God my one year old baby spit his out and refused to eat it. I tried his and it was terrible! When my husband called the restaurant the person he spoke to commented "it just too spicy for you". Are you kidding me right now?! I asked for spice and got zero on my food first of all, and second spicy food does not make me violently ill. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!! and I encourage you to really think twice before eating here as well.
google avatar

Sunny D.

Yelp
I had the red curry with tofu and it was delicious! It was enough for three meals! My husband had the orange chicken and he also loved it! It came with a lot of extra rice. It was delivered very quickly.

Yelp
Got takeout from here after reading the great reviews. Went inside to wait for it, food came out super quick but while we waited they gave us Thai tea on the house! It was delicious. Really cute atmosphere. Most importantly the food was amazing. Definitely the best Thai food I've had in the DFW area. They gave us so much meat too which was a very nice surprise! Pad Thai 10/10. Absolutely perfect. Pad see ew was also delicious (we got beef.). Spicy basil chicken was nice, I had never tried it before today. We also got chicken spring rolls that were amazing. Overall I would really recommend this place.

Yelp
So good food Thai and nice service!!! Very good flavor, I'll be back soon! a pleasant atmosphere!

Yelp
Went back to saucys thai again and it never fails to make yummy authentic food! the staff there were friendly and they were always there if we needed them. the food came promptly after ordering. would absolutely go back again.

Yelp
Ordered pick up in person. Got crab Rangoon, spicy noodles with beef, chicken and shrimp, Thai fried rice with shrimp and pad Thai with shrimp. All the dishes tasted really great and the shrimp were fresh and succulent. However not value for money ($64 plus tip) because the 3 entrees & Appetizer were really small portion size, just a little over half of the containers... literally half empty containers as u can see somewhat In The pic Also they didn't pack properly, some of the sauces from the noodles leaked out making a mess in my car.
google avatar

Rashmi S.

Yelp
This is our second time coming to this place as we really like the food. Not giving 5-star this time because they came too late to ask for water and take the order while they started serving tables that came after us. Place is clean and nicely decorated.

Bethany P.

Yelp
Very clean, easy parking, great service. Can accommodate bigger groups. They have great tea as well.

Yelp
Saucy is fire too. Can you handle spice ? My favorite dish is pineapple shrimp fried rice. Level 3 spicy. Not over bearing heat but has a good flavor. Side note papaya salad is nice too.

Yelp
Note, review based on single takeout experience. Decided to try this place based on reviews. A little bit of a drive from my hotel so I was hoping it would be worth it. Long story short, it was. Ordered vegetable spring rolls and red curry with pork. Person taking my order asked about spice level. I don't mind some heat, but don't need anything crazy hot. We had a little back and forth and they suggested I get it level 2 with some chili paste on the side if I want to increase. I didn't time it but order was probably ready in about 7 minutes or so. Super quick. The spring rolls (4) were quite large. Flavor was good, but I wouldn't say best I've ever had. Certainly something I would get again though. The red curry was actually very good! I've had a lot of it in my travels and it was one of the best. Portion is large and had plenty of veg and meat. Spice level of 2 was actually perfect. Certainly could have upped it for more heat but I just didn't find it was needed. I thought prices were fair especially given that with the 4 spring rolls, carton of rice, and large container of curry, it could easily be turned into two meals for the average eater.

Yelp
‼‼ this used to be one of my favorite places.. my friend and i went here this past monday and ended up both getting the worst food poisoning of our lives. this place nearly killed me!!!!! i'm so heartbroken because my friend and i loved this place & now we will never be returning. i would be very cautious going here as i've never been this sick in my life.

Yelp
Rich and flavorful food. They are consistent and always serve good portions. This is our go to place for Thai food.

Yelp
I've eaten here multiple times alone, with wife, and others. Friendly fast wait staff and the food is outstanding I usually get Pad Ke Mao w/squid med spicy.
