Saud Beach Resort and Hotel

It is always a great experience being here. The staff are always attentive even though their number is not sufficient to the number of guests. They will always go out of their way to please the guests. While the internet and cable are not really excellent by NCR standards, is it not to be connected is one of the reasons going to this far flung resort in the north? This is my fifth time visiting this resort since I first set foot in early 2000s and every visit is a different experience.

It is sad that this resort needs proper renovation for their rooms, AC generator not working, no ammenities to enjoy at night therefore became overpriced!

Back again after 10 years. Come here December-June when the waters are crystal clear and cold. Aside from the floating seaweeds, this has been a go to place for Ilocanos. Lots of trees and breezy place. Picnic Cottage is Php700, quite expensive for 2 but cheap for a crowd of 7-10.

Beach front is beautiful and not crowded. Friendliness of the staff can be improved as well as the amenities.

The location of the resort is perfect because of the sunset view but other than that the resort is nothing special at all. The nightly price here is the same price we had in a nice luxurious beach resort in Bohol and that is way more nicer than this resort! No shower heater in the bathroom. We ordered sinigang na hipon and paid like 360+ for it but the ingredients are only shrimp, eggplant, lots of green chilis and the soup. The room is pretty okay, tv is good too and it's a smart tv but still the price here is overpriced. Also this resort is perfect for people who likes stars at night and looking for shooting stars and we saw one but its not safe because there's stray dogs around the area and we were just sitting enjoying the night sky then these three dogs came running at us luckily my boyfriend did a great job scaring them away. This will be perfect if they kept stray dogs on the cages, its really nice here at night but security is so low. There's no even real security guard there and we feel unsafe sleeping there because one of the reviews we read here said that they got robbed. The resort have potential, I hope they will do something about the issues in their resort 5k per night is not that great the other resorts beside it is like 3k per night but they have live entertainment, security and nice cafe. Overall its still nice because we get to see a great sunset view, clear sky to look at stars and a shooting star

I never grow tired of visiting this beach. No wonder I have visited this place again within 2 months. Pagudpud in general and Saud Beach in specific fills my heart always.

Saud Beach is the perfect getaway from the bustling city! This resort is surrounded by many trees that give that beautiful nature vibe. The beach is astonishing! The waves were very strong, making Pagudpud stand out from other beaches, that's why they call it the "Boracay of the North"!
