Loved this place! An old-school sauna that’s been around since 1953 and still going strong. The owner is super friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and genuine, and the disco night was such a fun surprise. There’s even a lovely dog who greets everyone. We enjoyed it so much we came back twice in 24 hours.

Very hospitable owner and could feel the pride. Love all the vintage decoration! Perfect way to feel Finnish Sauna culture, I even thought about moving to Finland and buy a membership. Adult €12.50 330ml Beer €2.50 Affordable Price and the killing point is I did sauna with their dog XD

Truly a unique experience in a traditional Sauna. It was fun chatting to a local guy named Yari. There were very affordable snacks and drinks!

Very positive experience! Affordable (€10 p person) and great local atmosphere. You can bring your own food and drinks or buy them from the reception. Low-alcohol (2.6%) beer is sold for only €2 per 0.33 bottle.

Solid place, can't beat the location. It's seriously where you want to be if you're staying in Reykjavik. Near common bus stops, it's on the main drag, and short walking distance to nearly everything else in the downtown. Stayed in a double room, it was solid, but the bathroom wasn't as clean as I'd like, even for a hostel (underside of toilet was missed), and the bathroom light was very problematic turning on at times. I'd definitely recommend as a solid choice if you're on a budget.

I had originally planned to visit another place recommended by my Finnish friend, but unfortunately, the Sauna there was closed. Consequently, I made the decision to come here instead. This place is undoubtedly a local sauna, although it may not be entirely authentic. I find it to be rather ordinary, lacking any distinctiveness, but it does come with a relatively high price tag.
