Saung Gawir Restaurant

Food was good, the restaurant was nice but the best was the service, they were very fast to deliver the food. The food was warm and fresh and delicious Definitely back here

In my opinion this is the best "saung" in the area. The price is very reasonable yet the food quality is superb. The fried gourami is nice and crispy, their grilled chicken is scrupmtcious. The only downside of this place is during high season it will be very crowded and it may take a long time for your order to come. But the last time I visited this place is during PPKM level 2 so it's not problem.

Food is nice. Very local food with spicy sambal. Only there is too many flies. They use candle/oil light to reduce the flies but it is not enough. 🙄 Cleanliness of the surrounding made me kept the 4th star.

The meals are tasty & the prices are all mid range based on the area's standard, so yeah I had no issues with the food at all. However.. the pesky problem lies when I ordered orange juice & there was a dead ant on the beverage so I asked the waitress to change the beverage to another new one. The second one it came there was still the exact same problem & I was upset about it but yeah there's no way I'd ask for another exchange twice simply cuz I hesitated. I just sip the beverage with much resentment whilst still trying to avoid the ant lmao (okay my hygiene standards may be somewhat more fussy than the rest that don't really mind what they'd call as 'trivial problems' like these but that's just me ok). Ambience wise the place for eating is more comfortable & cleaner than the public toilets as well as the places for taking wudhu & prayer. Nice for taking photos as well..

This resto is service with beautiful view and the weather is quite nice while we were enjoying lunch here. This resto is serve sundanese foods. I think the foods are standard with affordable prices. You can choose to eat at Saung with family

our trusty driver/tour guide recommended this place! great place to have lunch after visiting kawah putih since it's about 10-15mins away. the nasi liwet complete set is on point!!! the nasi (rice) is really tasty! super good! the chicken too! my sister loves spicy food and she swears by the sambal chili at saung gawir! the ambiance and view is great. service was good too!

Good variety of Indonesian local food. Quality is good and delicious. Only downside is the outdoor seating has a lot of houseflies. Maybe a fly trap machine would help. Overall a good experience!

This place serve Sundanese Food.. Sambal dadak and gurame bakar quite Good! Lemon tea also worthed it .. However i'm disturb by its hygiene.. The table not clean often, and also cutlery not so clean. This place also can pick strawberry, but the fruit is all small and less to pick when i visit. Open = 11.00 am Close = 05.00 pm Food = 4 out of 5 Hygiene = 2 out of 5
