Saung Gawir Restaurant

...a restaurant located on the main road between Bandung and Ciwidey serves Sundanese cuisine. The rich, traditional spices create a unique flavor. Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is also comfortable. Visitors are treated to stunning views of strawberry fields and mountain slopes, a draw that captivates and delights visitors.

In my opinion this is the best "saung" in the area. The price is very reasonable yet the food quality is superb. The fried gourami is nice and crispy, their grilled chicken is scrupmtcious. The only downside of this place is during high season it will be very crowded and it may take a long time for your order to come. But the last time I visited this place is during PPKM level 2 so it's not problem.

Food is nice. Very local food with spicy sambal. Only there is too many flies. They use candle/oil light to reduce the flies but it is not enough. 🙄 Cleanliness of the surrounding made me kept the 4th star.

Food was good, the restaurant was nice but the best was the service, they were very fast to deliver the food. The food was warm and fresh and delicious Definitely back here

This resto is service with beautiful view and the weather is quite nice while we were enjoying lunch here. This resto is serve sundanese foods. I think the foods are standard with affordable prices. You can choose to eat at Saung with family

our trusty driver/tour guide recommended this place! great place to have lunch after visiting kawah putih since it's about 10-15mins away. the nasi liwet complete set is on point!!! the nasi (rice) is really tasty! super good! the chicken too! my sister loves spicy food and she swears by the sambal chili at saung gawir! the ambiance and view is great. service was good too!

This place serve Sundanese Food.. Sambal dadak and gurame bakar quite Good! Lemon tea also worthed it .. However i'm disturb by its hygiene.. The table not clean often, and also cutlery not so clean. This place also can pick strawberry, but the fruit is all small and less to pick when i visit. Open = 11.00 am Close = 05.00 pm Food = 4 out of 5 Hygiene = 2 out of 5

Food is tasty, and we have a mountain view. Recommended to order spicy fish, their specialty, the the genjer tumis oncom also good., the fried chicken also good too. Unfortunately, they gave us wrong food, but it taste good too. Thats the only one down side.
