We have just returned from this hotel and experienced a terrible stay. The majority of staff are just plain rude and so unhelpful, and in particular, the woman at reception who I think is called Tainika and possibly a Manager of some sorts. She kind of sets the tone upon arrival (If we were staying longer, I would have not bothered checking in at all) . She went above and beyond to make sure she was the rudest of them all. It's a shame as the only staff who tried to be helpful were the trainees but I'm sure it won't take long to un-train them in keeping with the Hotel's poor service standards. Food was a very limited buffet and inedible. Breakfast was just about Ok. Beach area is very small and lovely but difficult to get into the sea. It's also on the Atlantic side so you can't swim in it anyway really. Rooms, whilst big and well equipped are accessed by two lift's that resemble a 1950's tower block making moving luggage around a mission in itself. Don't even bother asking for help from a porter to navigate the winding paths to the rooms , I've seen quick sand move faster! Cleaners screaming at each other (sounded like arguing) down the open corridors from 6.30am saved me having to set my alarm clock. The only plus was the 'external' singer with the saxophone who was great. The Hotel claims to be 4 star, but I would say it's 3 star at best and that's being generous. Basically, avoid if you can.

Just got back from a fabulous stay here. Our room was a standard courtyard view but wow it was perfect. We were all inclusive and the food and drinks were amazing. Entertainment great but not on every night. We got married on the beach on 18th Dec and the hotel made it perfect for us. Shout out to the fabulous staff who made our stay just perfect. Already looking at booking for next year

Couldn’t fault a thing. The rooms are lovely, the beds are so comfortable and the staff truly make this hotel something special. There is a variety of food and drinks available, with multiple dining choices within the hotel and entertainment most nights. ||To make the most of the stay, get involved! Ramon, the activities coordinator, puts on many events throughout the day, from bingo to karaoke and even cocktail making. He is very engaging, and will do everything to ensure the guests are engaged. ||A shout out to Alicia, one of the lovely servers in the hotel. She is always smiling and knows how to get the guests dancing! She made our stay extra special, along with many other staff members. I could write and write about each individual person and how friendly they are. You will never forget the people you meet at this wonderful hotel.||We are already looking to book for next year.

The warmest welcome from Teresa at the Reception through to the food and beverage staff on a daily basis made our first stay at SBC memorable. All members of staff made my 80 year old mum feel special 💙. The double storey rooms were clean and spacious. The only downside was that Mount Gay Eclipse rum wasn't served at the bars within the all inclusive price.

From the moment we arrived with an efficient and very friendly reception desk to leaving we had a fabulous nearly three weeks. |We’ve stayed lots of times so it’s like coming home. |The rooms are cleaned daily ,the grounds are lovely and all the staff just want you to have a great holiday. |There is always something to enjoy at meal times and the drinks are free flowing. |While we were there the weather at times was a challenge especially when the dining areas had to be changed sometimes at the last minute. But as ever nothing phased the staff. |The hotel itself is central. Easy to get about. |Nature has taken a toll on the beach but hopefully something can be done. But there are beaches in easy reach so it isn’t an issue. |Loads of names to mention . Beverley, Omari Felicia, Alicia,Gabby ,Analise, Richard, Roger , Nadia and Jamiel. Thank you all for making our holiday special again. |And Mr Massiah I really enjoyed our chats. Hope you enjoyed your time in Nottingham. |Can I say the biggest asset you have is definitely your staff. | Looking forward to our next stay.

We stayed for 2 weeks in November early December. From the very first moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the hotel reception along with security they gave us a drink which was really welcomed after a long day travelling. We were quickly taken through the checking process then helped with our luggage to our room . Our room had loads of wardrobe space , a safe and drawer space . Tea & coffee making facilities should you need this . A lovely big walkin shower and a spacious bathroom . The beds were very comfortable we had two double because we were a family of 3 . Lovely big balcony with chairs and a table with a place to hang any clothes . We had the courtyard view in a delux room . The staff , well what can I say these guys work hard every minute of the day to make sure we have a great time , Ramon entertainment manager , Analise, Jamar, Shaniece, Alicia, Nakita and Tiffany in the bar and restaurants cannot do enough for you, always happy and nothing is too much trouble for them. Alicia sang on stage and was amazing showing off her talent to the guests. Every single day the staff were happy and very polite and always spoke to you even when passing by you. All of the staff ensured that you had drinks all the time especially water keeping you hydrated throughout the day. When it rained the staff helped keep the floors as safe as possible by soaking up the water and laying out safety signs and telling you to be careful when passing. There is a varied choice of food with Rachel's or Drifters place to eat they alternate these places at times because they have entertainment at both places . The manager should be very proud of his team they definitely make this hotel . Will definitely return.

This place is so lovely to stay, but the staff make the place the guys at the bar are really helpful. Especially Jamar for letting me know about the mosquitos and getting me the citronella!||The security staff when you enter are very helpful too! |Breakfast was very samey, would love to have more Bajan options.|The place is like a bit of a maze to get to your room but a lovely trip.

After months of anticipation, this was a truly disappointing stay for us.||Although some people clearly love this hotel, our experience echoes many others here.|* The hotel is advertised as being a 4 star but it clearly isn’t - maybe a 3 star at best.. |* The hotel is advertised as having 3 restaurants. But there was regularly only 1 of the 3 open each night, so no real choice at all. |* Food offer at buffets was generally poor e.g. the salad bar consisted of a bowl of lettuce with beetroot one night or coleslaw the next, accompanied by mayonnaise or thousand island dressing….and that was it. BBQ nights were good though. |* Parts of the grounds/pool had access restricted by taped off areas, where maintenance was needed, for days and days on end.|* The hotel has 2 lifts but 1 wasn’t working for the 2 weeks we were there and the other was regularly being used by hotel cleaning/maintenance staff, so be prepared for long waits. |* As others have said, some of the staff were very friendly and helpful. But others, oh dear, they were just surly and behaved as if they didn’t want to be there. We didn’t get a “hello, good morning or how are you” from some staff we’d see every day, for the 2 weeks we were there. ||It’s the first holiday in memory where we’d have come home early, if we could have without incurring additional costs. Truly disappointing.
