Savon Hotel

The good soap smell is say hello to us 🧼 which was great as a old soap factory! Buy unfortunately the first room was smelling strange (like heavy old furniture smell I really do not feel comfortable...) The reisepsionist offered 2 other room option which was great, one of them was better than 1st room but bathroom was smelling... Beds are comfy. The room was great 2 big room one is for kids. The breakfast was great but due to pandemic waiter helped for the self service which was good for me but my husband was not happy due to the waiter was coughing... The atmosphere was great, Recommend this place 👍🏻

Beautiful background story and backing up it's story, there is smooth smeel of soaps in the hotel. This was a building serving for a soap factory and then renovated as a hotel after the industrial soaps took over. Only downside is that you can have some equipment broken like the temperature adjuster. It was not a big deal for me and they would probably have changed my room if I had requested. This might be a big deal for someone in the times of full booking.

THE WORST!!! one of the worst hotels on earth, don't even try to book!!!! I booked a double room for 2 nights (4th-6th Aug. 2021), one month before my trip. When I arrived, the receptionist gave me a triple humid dusty room. I objected then he gave me a suite worse than the triple room!!! I told him that I booked a double good room not a room at a warehouse!!! I'm here for enjoying my holiday. After that I told him I want to cancel my booking and go search for another hotel. Automatically without trying to solve the problem,  he canceled the booking and asked me rudely and with full sarcasm if I needed a taxi!!! I asked to talk to the manager,  he said nobody is here, only me!! Very rude and impolite receptionist who needs to be grown up again. After I canceled the booking, they put on their website that they don't have double room!!! (Picture attached) Note that I came to this bad hotel after driving for 4 hours from Gaziantep, with my mom and we needed a rest!!! But after 2 hours searching for a hotel, we went to the Ottoman Palace Resort, at least they respected us and gave us the desired service. I will never recommend it to any of my friends and I will write about this experience everywhere.

4 1/2 stars. Less 1/2 star only because the lighting is so dim - hard to read or do the things that you need to do. Great accommodation and lovely food. Common areas are very beautiful. Perhaps better English skills might be helpful at the front desk, but, overall this is a wonderful hotel. Very original, quaint, charming and a delightful stay!

I just called to make sure the rooms were non-smoking. They said yes first and then said "but all the smoking and non smoking rooms are on the same floor" In year 2022, they have smoking rooms and they expect you to sleep comfortable when people are having a smoke fest next room all night :)

It was a magnificient experience. The rooms are big and clean. The place is magic and the service is very polite. It is right next to the baazar and the going out area in Antakya although the neighbourhood could be rough at times. The breakfast was the best we had in turkey in our 2 weeks. A usual place for weddings so if you just want a quiet place be aware. We will repeat! A great place.
