Savoy, Ooty - IHCL SeleQtions

I recently stayed at Savoy with my husband and our 6-month-old baby, and we had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for, especially as a family traveling with an infant. Our room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged, which made it easy for us to settle in with our baby. The hotel’s service was exceptional — warm, attentive, and always ready to help. We especially appreciated the prompt housekeeping, room service, and the genuine friendliness of everyone we interacted with. Breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. The staff were kind enough to accommodate our baby’s needs, offering to help while we ate. Overall, our stay was relaxing and stress-free — exactly what we needed as a young family. We would absolutely recommend Savoy to other families traveling with little ones, and we look forward to coming back again!

Sad to see one of the nicest hotels in Ooty get reduced to a mere shadow of its self. The rooms have become average, the service is definitely not upto Taj standards, the food was average at best. And it’s definitely not worth the amount they are charging. Only nice part was the garden. But won’t be going back for sure.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, offering stunning views of the lush green surroundings of Ooty. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The food was another highlight — delicious, fresh, and with a great variety of cuisines to choose from. The dining experience was simply top-notch.and the staff from restaurant very polite Mr Santosh, Rajkumar was very courteous

Nice pleasant stay away from the heat in Chennai. Excellent service by the super helpful and cheerful staff. Food was great. The place needs a bit of renovation in some areas, but still acceptable as a heritage site. Would look forward to going again... Soon!

Taj Savoy is an amazing hotel. Stayed there recently for 2 nights in the deluxe room. The service is really wonderful and totally impressed with their hospitality. The property is very well maintained and landscaping in exceptional. Room was very good. We had breakfast buffet and dinner and food was excellent. It's very much in the centre of ooty but away from the rush. A totally must visit place.
