The food and more importantly the coffee was amazing! I’d been struggling to find decent coffee. The staff were very friendly. There’s a huge range of cabinet food available.

We stopped in this patisserie shop to try Borek. They were very friendly and welcome. They didn’t have any space but they made a nice space for us.Borek taste was normal, I like Borek more crispy. Simit toast with bread was okay but the sweet paper inside was in big slices and hard to eat. Tea was good. They are famous for chocolate and waffles but we didn’t try.

Pistachio bar was delicious! And it was served warm. Nice and honest staff: I settled with cash and did not realise that 2 bank notes stuck together. The man called me back and gave one back to me. Will definitely come back next time I visit Istanbul.

Stopped here for a quiet breather and so happy we did. The owner was lovely and so proud of what he could offer. I got the Borek with meat and it was superb. Highly recommend.

This delightful café at the corner of a bustling T junction, a spot that marries the charm of retro decorations with the modern-day pleasures of good pastry and coffee. This café stands out not just for its exquisite selection of pastries but also for its reasonable prices and wide variety, catering to every taste and preference. The ambiance inside is a nod to a bygone era, with vintage decor that adds a layer of warmth and nostalgia, creating a cozy retreat from the busy world outside. Despite its retro vibe, the café maintains a clean and neat environment, ensuring a comfortable and inviting space for patrons. From its prime location, guests can enjoy the rhythmic dance of traffic and the ever-changing tapestry of people passing by, all while indulging in some of the finest baked goods in the area. The café's blend of affordable prices, diverse offerings, and meticulous upkeep, all set against the backdrop of a nostalgic interior and a lively street scene, makes it a cherished haven of pleasure and relaxation in the heart of our bustling neighborhood

I came specifically for sütlaç but it wasn’t ready yet. So I ordered a Keşkül. It was very good!

The baklava in this picture is not from their place. They surprisingly had no baklava. I gave this place a 3 star not because of the pastry taste (it was actually really tasty), but for the poor service. I had asked for 2 pieces of something, and the worker gave me 5. I even said no please just the two, he's like 5 is ok. The person I paid cash to was busy in his phone watching somethin. Didn't acknowledge me or say hello or thank you or goodbye. He didn't even say bye after I said thanks and to have a good day. If the vibes were better, I'd give it a higher rating. I won't go back here because of the service + many other pastry shops around to try. They also didn't really speak English here (which isn't why it got a bad rating, but something others may want to know of).
