Just returned from an amazing stay at Savute Lodge in Chobe National Park. It was a wonderful experience and we saw so many animals every day. The lodge has its own waterhole right in front, elephants, giraffes, lions and different kinds of antelopes come by all the time — it feels like watching wildlife right from your room.😍|Our guide Conrad was fantastic — very knowledgeable, professional and truly passionate about the animals and safari. He made every drive exciting and interesting.👍🏻||Highly recommend Savute Lodge for anyone visiting Botswana. It’s a beautiful place with great wildlife and great people.🫶🏼

We had barely arrived at the lodge and there was a group of 6 elephants at the lodge water hole, then 9 giraffes came for a drink. Later on a game drive that day we sat and watched a pride of lions and elephants at a water hole. The following day on a drive we sat the opposite side of a small water hole to a group of 6 lion cubs and 2 lionesses, all in a row drinking - magical. Later that day we were close to a leopard on the ground and then in a tree. The following day wild dogs and lions. |Very comfortable "tented" rooms with balconies and inside and outside showers and good food.

Booked a 15 night Namibia - Botswana trip through Natural Habitat. They used all Wilderness Camps. This was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. No, we didn’t see elephants at the watering hole like the pics might suggest but we did see hundreds if not thousands of elephants on the drives. First full day I wrote down 43 different animals we saw and I missed many birds’ names. ||Our guide, Lets, was exceptional. While he is a Natural Habitat guide, the operation of the Wilderness Camps was impressive. The decore and use of natural wood in the design and textures showed an eye for detail. ||I would recommend Wilderness from their food safety, cuisine excellence, attention to detail, personable service, and overall organization.

This was our last camp on our trip. It was so beautiful and the best view of the water hole to see all the animals. The food was unbelievable as many of the other camps were. These camps are something special. Pricey, but you leave with more than just what you pay.

Stayed 2 nights at Savute Safari Lodge. |It was our first stop in Botswana. After over 30 hours international travel, we were picked up by a safari vehicle, and started our first safari straight way. |We had to share the truck with another family, they arrived early, and were able to choose their seats, so we didn’t have a chance to seat in the front row during our 2-day stay. |The rooms were nice and we can see animals drinking water in front of our room. The down side was that there was no service during the evening, we wanted some drinking water but had to wait until the next morning. Tried the gas horn but no one responded.|Food was ok. Safari route can be repeating so 2 days were perfect length of stay.

We had a great time at Savute Safari Lodge at Chobe National Park in Botswana. Our guide, Conrad, was very impressive in his knowledge of wildlife and plants in the area. He was very patient with all of our questions and made our trip memorable. We saw so much wildlife including many lions, hippos, giraffes, wildebeest and so many others. We especially enjoyed the trip to the baobab trees and to the Bushman paintings. We came away from our time at Savute with a lot of memories and an appreciation for Africa cultures.

Fantastic location! Great, friendly staff. Beautiful rooms, outstanding meals. The guides are amazing. We had "KT." He knew the area like the back of his hand. He found lots of game to observe and photograph. He drove to find the best angles for photos. He gave a smooth and predictable ride even with the challenging roads and trails Highly recommended!

This is a newly renovated camp and is beautiful with view of a watering hole to watch the wildlife. Having visited other locations of this company, the staff did not pay attention to details the way the other locations did. It seemed like they were working on needed training while we were there and the staff took over the main table in the lounge most of the days and early evenings. The family cabin 7A-B is next to the pool and especially unit B will hear the filter all day as well as anyone on the deck, less private and unit B does not have the outdoor shower like other cabins. Cabin six is on the kitchen side and also can get noisy with kitchen prep. Overall, a nice stay and a beautiful facility. We saw great wildlife.
