"Sawgrass Mills: The Best Shopping in South Florida Anyone from South Florida knows that the Sawgrass Mills Mall in Hollywood is the place to find just about anything. It's Florida's largest outlet center and the second-largest mall in the state. Home to more than 300 shopping and dining destinations, it has both well-known retailers and luxury brands. To create a more social, upscale vibe, the complex added an outdoor part with cobblestone walkways, fine eateries, and high-end boutiques. Shop for outlet deals at places like the Burberry Factory Outlet, Guess Factory Store, PUMA Outlet, Kenneth Cole Company Store, Coach Factory Store, Escada Company Store, and the Polo/Ralph Lauren Factory Store."

Google
Huge shopping center, one of the largest I have visited in the area. Large facilities, a wide variety of stores with everything from clothing, footwear, accessories, perfumes, and much more. Mall with world brand stores such as Gucci, Praga, Versage, Armani and all you want... It has 2 Food Malls. Bathroom Service. Restaurants. It is a Shopping Mall for the whole family, for children and for everyone, for locals, visitors and tourists... I was surprised by the variety of people from different countries... One of its main attractions is the Outlet concept, lots of variety and good prices. Suggestions: it is to walk with good energy and plenty of time available so you can take a long journey. Without a doubt the most recommended Shopping Mal of my trip through Florida.

Google
Wow this is what I call a mega mall. It's like 4 malls in one. Repeat stores. Indoor mall connected to an outdoor mall. Restaurants, food stalls at every corner. It's a great place to hang out for the day. Especially if you have time to kill before a flight - rent a car and check it out. Only downside was the side by Target smelled foul.

Google
This is a really beautiful mall. Great amount of stores, parking, restaurants. This is one my favorite malls in south Florida. I highly recommend if you’re visiting south Florida.

It took a long time before food was served, and it was already cold when it was served in our table. It's good a kids attraction as fast as the jungle decorations and plenty of toys to buy for kids.

Google
Sawgrass Mills is a shopping paradise and totally worth the one hour drive from Miami Beach! This massive outlet mall has an incredible selection of stores, offering everything from high end brands to everyday favorites. The variety is unmatched, you can literally find something for everyone. Plus, the discounts are amazing, making it a great spot to score some fantastic deals.

Google
Sawgrass Mills is always a fantastic shopping destination, and my recent visit was no exception. I went there to prepare for a trip to Key West, where I’ll be attending a wedding with my boyfriend. I explored about ten different stores to find the perfect outfit, and the variety of options was impressive. From trendy boutiques to well-known brands, Sawgrass Mills has it all. The mall is incredibly well-maintained, with clean and spacious walkways, making the shopping experience very pleasant. I was particularly pleased with the great deals I found in several stores, which made my shopping spree even more enjoyable. Another highlight for me is that Sawgrass Mills is pet-friendly. Being able to bring my dog along is a huge plus and adds to the overall positive experience. However, one area where the mall could improve is by adding Level 2 EV chargers. As an electric vehicle owner, having access to convenient charging options is essential, and this addition would be a significant benefit for many shoppers. It would make the experience even more convenient and encourage more environmentally-friendly transportation. Despite this, Sawgrass Mills continues to be one of my favorite places to shop. The combination of excellent stores, great deals, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a top-notch destination. Whether you’re looking for something specific or just want to browse, you’re sure to have a great time at Sawgrass Mills. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comprehensive and enjoyable shopping experience!

Great walkable shopping venue with many various food options, and plentiful of free parking options.

Yelp
We have been here at Sawgrass Mills a couple of times but it was a while ago. It is one of the largest discount outlet malls in the US and also includes designer store outlets like Gucci, Tony Burch, Disney, Neiman Marcus, Prada, and several others. You can find savings at every store. They have a food court with popular small restaurants. There are approximately 350 stores here so there is something for everybody. We went there specifically for the Disney's Characters Premiere store to shop at a discount before leaving for Disney World in a couple of days. We found that service was friendly and helpful. Parking is abundant and all around the mall. Wheelchair accessiblability is at every lot. This is an indoor mall but also has a few independent buildings beside it.

Yelp
The Sawgrass Mills is still the largest single-story outlet mall in the country. It is larger than 41 football fields. This Simon mall has over 400 stores and sees over 21 million visitors annually. An AC Marriott hotel open three years ago. Strangely, this is one of the biggest attractions in Florida. Today I found parking on the third floor of the garage near the colonnade upscale shops. We walked around for four hours getting in about 10,000 steps. There is a small food court with the usual chain of vendors with nicer chain restaurants outside. Today I brought three things to the register that were on racks indicating that they were on sale. I brought a black top to the register thinking it was 50% off, it rang up not being on sale. A gift item was marked 75% off, but it rang up 25% off. I came home empty-handed. I realize sometimes I hit it and sometimes I don't here. I think I did better when I was living up north. They had a lot of attractive, sweaters, coats, and heavy clothing displayed. I bought a 20 oz bottle of water from a vending machine that did not have prices marked and did not take cash. I used Apple Pay on my phone and was shocked when I saw that I was charged $9. Yes my warm water was $9.

Yelp
My Home away from Home. The Oasis which is the outside fun area of the Sawgrass Mills Mall. There are over twenty stores and restaurants including a Regal Movie Theatre and an Escape Room that line both sides of the stone walkway. Some of the restaurants include Yard House, Shake Shack, Baked Bear, California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake Factory and Mojito Bar. The main inside mall has too many stores and eateries to name but my favorites are Target, H&M, Nike and Rainforest Cafe. Parking spaces are plentiful except during the week before the start of school or just before Christmas - it's pure insanity here. Outlet deals are found in every store in this mall, unfortunately, the eateries are not discounted.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous shopping for designer clothes, handbags, sunglasses and anything else you can think of this mall has it for you! Beautiful landscape and scenery!

Yelp
Wow! What a mega Mall! This mall has everything! The Mall is a mix concept offering shoppers both indoor and outdoor shopping experiences. There are high end stores and there are also budget friendly stores. You definitely have to bring your walking shoes for this mall, just when you think you made it to the end there's another turn that takes you to more shops. There's ample parking either in front of the stores or restaurants or on the parking lot. I love that there are so many restaurants at and so close to the mall. There's Texas de Brazil, Season's 52, Cheesecake Factory, and Grand Lux just to name a few. There's also quick grab and go and more budget friendly options at the food court. There are plenty of places to grab a tasty dessert. There's even a cake vending machine. If you are traveling from out of town there are hotels near by. The one con about the mall is the poor air conditioning. It is very warm in the mall. I can remember even 20 years ago coming to this mall and the there was poor air conditioning. I believe shoppers would have a much more enjoyable experience and shop longer if there was better air conditioning. If you find yourself in South Florida you definitely have do some shopping at the Saw Grass Mills Mall or if shopping isn't your thing you could always go to people watch, grab something to eat, or go for a nice walk around the mall; you will definitely get your steps in.

Yelp
Sawgrass mall is the best mall in broward county and in the top 10 biggest malls in the United States. You can find every designer brand and clothing and home goods stores at this location. Thier are plenty of resturants and bars at the outlets and oasis areas. On the weekends they also have farmers markets where you can get plenty of fresh fruits food breads and other types of handmade meals. This is the best place to go embroidered county for all your shopping needs. I recommend everyone to go. Even cruise ships, there's a destination for a shopping stop.

Yelp
Today was the first time I went to Sawgrass Mills since moving to Florida three years ago. I used to go there twice a year when I would come visit my family and I came out with shopping bag after shopping bag after shopping bag filled with delightful sale items And basically an entirely new wardrobe and also things I didn't need to have. Today was a different experience. I will say the parking garage was wonderful and there was plenty of parking even on this day before Thanksgiving. There were lots of people hustling and bustling in the outdoor shops, but the inside was a little less hectic. None of the stores I remember being there were there today. The stores that I did shop in had some rather unusual items but really not at great prices. The food court was as I remember going around and tasting the Asian specialties. However, the highlight of my day unfortunately was the french fries at Nathan's.

Yelp
Very large and expansive selection for an outlet! I went on a Friday afternoon and there was a ton of people, do people not work in Florida??? In California the malls aren't even this crowded on a weekend. So crazy. There were just people left and right it was hard to walk, I can't imagine what it's like on a weekend. I didn't really go in stores or buy anything My main gripe is it didn't look like the place had a lot of seating options inside so I wonder if this is by design cause they want you to get your booty up and walk inside stores. The outside area where people wait seemed dirty and littered with cigarette butts. Can something be done to clean that up?

Yelp
This is an awesome mall. Right off the top you have so many different ways of getting here as well as he fact that there are so many entrances into the mall and an equal amount of MANY MANY parking spots. I usually park by the Food Court and enter through those doors. A very big and bright court with plenty choices. If food courts aren't your thing there's an equal amount of restaurants. Clearly, something for everyone. We arrived early this year to do the annual stroll through-out and I could see many people leaving who clearly come here in the morning to do a walk. You could probably put a mile to mile and a half on your walk tracker. If you need a mall ( and I come Long Island, the land of malls,) Sawgrass Mills is for you. Every store is here and there are vendors throughout. There is a lot of electricity in the air here. KUDOs to the Simon Team who manage the Sawgrass Mills Mall.

Jody G.

Yelp
The mall is nice, good stores. Security guards are on a parking power trip. Like why move barricades to sit and block the street. I guess it's how they roll. Just a stupid way of doing things. Anyway, if you want to shop it's a good place for deals. Just be prepared for following parking restrictions.

Yelp
This mall is one of the most amazing places EVER!!!! It's full of stores ranging from outlets, to homegoods, all the way to high end top name brands. Excellent for all ages- both indoor and outdoor shopping, tons of restaurants to select from, and shooed that appeal to all ages. I only wish I had more time so that I could have shopped until I physically dropped!!! I can't wait to return!
google avatar

Yelp
There are a lot of stores to choose from. From high end to basic like TJ maxx and Burlington, Marshall's. A lot. Be prepared for a crowd, especially during the holiday season. We came on a Thursday thinking we would find parking and there would not be a crowd and it was the opposite of that. I am only giving it a 4 because the parking was horrible and they said they had EV chargers on site but they do not. The valet could not help us when we asked for help looking for them. I will definitely come back though because I only got to see half of the mall and outlet haha. I need to do more shopping.
google avatar

Yelp
this mall is really good, but i wish they had boba :( there's plenty of smoothie and fresh juice places though. and the food court is really good?! i've never seen a mall food court this good. i ate at grand lux cafe, but i wish i ate at this food court tbh

Yelp
I've been a Florida resident for close to 3 years and have been maybe twice to Sawgrass. I got a chance to check out way more stores on this trip and even stopped for lunch at one of the eateries as well. There's a wide array of shops with great selections for everyone in the family and service was good as well. I was looking for Father's day but got myself quite a few things. I will definitely be venturing out more. I love fashion and great deals!
google avatar

Carolyn F.

Yelp
Overwhelming mall if you only have a few hours to spend there. Definitely some great bargains on Black Friday. The mall opened earlier than 10 AM on Black Friday. I used VIP parking which saved me time from looking for a parking space. On that shopping day, the amount of people shopping with huge rolling suitcases was also overwhelming. There were long lines to enter the the designer outlet stores. The food court was packed and definitely not enough tables to handle the customers for Black Friday. As a visitor to Florida for the first time to Ft. Lauderdale, I was still happy to see the largest outlet mall in the USA, even though in four hours I was only able to walk and window shop through the Colonnade section (yellow) and one other.

Yelp
Youtube.com/@TheRagingFork Love the outdoor space with multiple food and drink spots...The movie theatre needs a complete overhaul for years, its one of the onlt theatre left in broward county with sad gum stained smelly small seats - just saying its an eye sore when the rest of the outdoor Mall is beautiful. Anyways, we love the outdoor patio seating with most of the eateries. The inside mall has basically everything a person needs and its PACKED with people. A definite international destination. Would recommend the food and drink spots not the movie theatre.

Yelp
Lots of stores to choose from. Great deals and bargains. It does get busy during the weekends and holidays. Come prepared to spend hours here and wear sneakers or some comfy shoes. 2 food courts and tons of restaurants on site. Love sawgrass

Yelp
Huge mall with both indoor and outdoor shopping areas. Designer stores including Gucci, Prada, Fendi, and Versace. Added bonus is that this mall has one of the only remaining Neiman Marcus Last Call, and it has a huge selection of discounted designer goods like Kiton, Versace, Off-White, etc.
google avatar

Idsia R.

Yelp
This has to be my favorite mall and if you like shopping, get your comfy shoes ready because you will walk for hours visiting each store when in shopping mode. Even if you're getting a couple of things, you might stay and walk a little longer than planned. Great selection of brands, stores, and good deals as well as restaurants and various food courts. There is something for everyone and good deals and great prices.
google avatar

Yelp
This mall shopping extravaganza is a shopper's dream. There is every store you can think of. From the name brand stores to places to eat etc. The selections were endless. The outlets of the luxury brands had sales and plenty to choose from. My daughters love all the different colors of purses and wallets. This is definitely a place I would continuously visit for shopping needs.
google avatar

Brianna R.

Yelp
Has lots of stores but usually very packed. The temp victoria secret has lots of very rude staff. I didn't like that they fat shamed by daughter because she went from a c to a double d. didn't like the experience.

Yelp
Sawgrass mills is one of the best deal malls anywhere, it's packed with people on the weekends and holidays. We absolutely love going there whether to shop or do our daily 5k walk. It's over 1 mile around so a couple times equals or daily distance. The downside is my wife always finds a deal she can't pass up, so exercise usually costs more than the local YMCA. Plenty of excellent restaurants and two large food courts if you can't agree on what to eat. If you have never been your missing out. If you don't like crowds go early, if you like mall exercise an hour before the mall opens 9am is the best time for exercise walking.

Yelp
This mall is huge! We came for the bookstore and decided to walk through the mall and I'm not sure we got to everything. The mall was clean and well maintained and has some good store. We don't live nearby but if we did I could see coming here. Definitely got my steps in today thanks to this place.
google avatar

Yelp
If anyone says the economy is not good, they are not telling the truth. This mall was packed on a Sunday afternoon. So packed that we had to park in the back, couldn't walk freely side-by-side, and popular stores like Nike had a long line to enter. There were so many shoppers that we entered a few stores and then immediately exited because the line to check out was outrageously long. Great to see people out and shopping for the holidays. I'm not a huge outlet mall shopper, and only visited to go to the Nike store. Due to the line (we tried twice about an hour apart) and the length of the line was prohibitive. Many stores had sale signs, but I didn't bother bc those lines were long, too. Sawgrass would have garnered more stars, if I could have visited the store I specifically drove there to see.
google avatar

Yelp
As a tourist, it's a must.. I was in heaven at first experience... as a local, it's a headache. Now that I am familiar and have been several times, I have found a decent route but many will not get through entire mall and outlets in one day. There are a variety of stores which are massive and It's usually difficult to find parking and lines for fitting rooms or checkout is often times, not even worth it. There are many tourists who bring a suitcases to purchase items to send back to their country. If you don't speak Spanish, be prepared to be stopped by any kiosk in the mall, nearly grabbing you, speaking in Spanish or to be approached several times by sales associates speaking to you immediately in Spanish, sometimes they do not even speak English. You definitely have to be prepared for the trip! The more frequent I have gone, the less I have found and just prefer to go to local mall. The mall is dark and dim and usually not well kept with outdated and unclean restrooms and garbage.. definitely room for improvement but with the selection and prices, I'm not too sure much will change. The food court also leaves more to be desired. If you are buying anything designer, I'd suggest doing your research as I almost spend $335 on sunglasses and found them online at macys, sunglasses hut, and several other places that are not outlet based for $230. I am also still convinced certain stores make items for outlet specific.. the Nike.com metcons I bought are undeniably more comfortable than the outlet ones I purchased. Also, I could not even find designer purses with same style name on website as they had in outlet despite they are same style. It's a walk but I'd suggest parking in the garage near the outlets, usually always find parking there-- good luck!

Yelp

Yelp
Our next family adventure take us to Sawgrass Mills located in Sunrise Florida with a category of 4.6 and more than 58,688 reviews this place is huge from the sky  haveca singular design like alligator, with 309 stores between women and men deparments, 47 restaurants and 7 entretemient places for all family members. One day if not sufficient to walk around the Sawgrass so many stores to see was a great day, from local brand stores to US brand like Boss, Fendi,  Gucci, Lacoste, Lululemon and more to select your favorite one. The best thing about this shopping mall is that all the stores in it are outlets and the prices are less than 50% or more discounted than in regular stores.

Yelp
Outstanding other than parking and entrance/exits to the premises. Very akeard and low lot areas leaving the building from multiple points.
google avatar

Katara B.

Yelp
Wide selection of stores, has something for everyone. Service varies depending on the different stores you visit. The value will range, but you are guaranteed to find something within your budget. LOTS of stores! Both inside and outside, so be prepared to walk. There are food courts, outdoor restaurants and small kiosks scattered around the mall. Lots of parking, including parking garages. A nice place for the family, friends and couples.
google avatar

Yelp
Incredible walk around mall. Shops are an abundance of what you need and crave. The mall is very clean . Bathrooms are maintained very clean. The Nike store is first rate. Designer stores everywhere. Overall, it's organized in a way where it's very easy to find stores. Clean mall! Bathrooms are efficient! Stores are numerous and very good quality.

Yelp
I love coming to sawgrass mall definitely a lot of outlets which means good prices ... I love checking out the Disney store they get all the stuff from Orlando Disney and send it to the Disney store here and they put it half off or cheaper. Armani exchange another one of my favorites! But I could go on and on !!! Check it out great stores for a great price
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
The shopping facility is huge. I didn't get to experience it all, but we came, and we conquered. There is ample color-coded garage parking that was useful in the heat of summer. They also have automated red/green lights in the rows that indicate no spaces vs. spaces available. Valet parking is another option available at select locations. Myriad outdoor shopping selections await you. In addition, the indoor mall is quite large. You can spend a couple of hours at least inside. I was there for over an hour and didn't visit all the wings. I was grateful for the coolness, given the hot temperatures outdoors. Where we parked, there were two primary restaurants. P.F. Chang's was one. I expect many others at the Mills, so check if you plan to eat after you tire from shopping.
google avatar

Andrea H.

Yelp
Love it...Hate it..I'm not sure. Giant Mall with every and any store you can imagine. There's low end, moderate and high end. Something for everyone, if you can handle the crowds. Wear comfortable shoes and plan on doing a lot of walking. Best time to go is first thing in the morning or after 5:30 in the evening. I did recently make the mistake of going on Good Friday thinking it would be empty, but I was very wrong and the lines were crazy. Nice selection of designer brands in the Colonnade shops. A huge TJ Maxx and Target and if you like athletic wear a great Nike outlet, Adidas and even a Lululemon with some good deals. Not a place you can just run into and pick up something...it's time consuming. If you know that upfront it wont be so bad.

Kat J.

Yelp
The mall in general was fine. The restrooms on the other hand were horrible so so dirty you could smell the smell the stench from down the hall. It wasn't only one restroom it was multiple in different parts of the mall. Please do better there where people gagging from the smell
google avatar

Judah J.

Yelp
Lot of walking involved. Interesting layout for Simon mall. High end stores on outside of property, "regular" mall stores in the indoor part of property. No real Simon outlet discounts provided. Service in stores was good.
google avatar

Alexis R.

Yelp
I came here on a Florida trip and we had a great experience. They had so many stores that I couldnt count how many there was lol. They had indoor and outdoor stores and a bunch of restaurants. The parking was ample and it is a lot of walking so make sure you bring comfortable shoes. My sister in law told me it is the largest shopping mall in Florida but I am not exactly sure. However, I would definitely come back because it was so nice.
google avatar

Gabriella G.

Yelp
I like this outlet mall. Sometimes it's so overwhelming because it's SO BIG!! But if you are looking for specific items and a good price: this is definitely the place to go. Case in point: I was looking for a cute backpack/purse. I saw one I liked, snapped a picture: Google searched it and found out it was by Steve Madden! Well- went to their online site and found the purse at about $50. Plus shipping. Fine! Good deal... or is it? So I went to look for outlets and sawgrass has one/ off I went to look at their goodies and voila! I found the same purse with a 30% discount!! This means I paid roughly $35 for it!! Isn't it adorable??! I'm in love with it. So a little bit of homework, and a even had $$ for my gelato afterwards! Win-win: love a good discount!! Enjoy!
google avatar

Loc H.

Yelp
This was the 1st time that I've been here and seen that many brand names outlet stores all in once location. This place is huge and I only checked out a few stores that I always go to in all outlets. A few hours here was not enough if I was really going shopping at all the shops. The dolphin mall seemed nothing compared to this one.
google avatar

Julliana H.

Yelp
Highly suggest going as early as you can and don't have any plans for at least 2 hours, by noon it's incredibly busy. You're constantly dodging luggages, and some of the tourists get close to you when waiting in line. Some of the deals are too good to pass up though. It has one of the few Disney character Warehouses outside Orlando.
google avatar

Drake L.

Yelp
HUGE shopping center !!! Outlet stores mixed with high end boutiques and regular stores. Part of the shopping center is open air but most is indoor with air conditioning. The air conditioning is great in warm Florida weather. Lots of tourists buying suitcases to carry back all of their purchases. Some Yelp reviews mentioned a lack of available shopping which I'm sure can happen around the holiday shopping season. I'm here in March and got here before noon so parking was not a problem. Very nice shopping center with goods for everyone. My wife and I especially enjoyed shopping at Columbia, Adidas and Lululemon.

Yelp
I can't believe I have forgot to review the largest outlet mall in the USA. I have been here every time I visit Fort Lauderdale. This years visit was a bit unique since rental cars were very expensive I booked a hotel just down the street from the mall. I figured I would have all the shops, movies, food courts and restaurants to explore. Explore I did. The first day we walked over to the mall and it was Christmas Eve. We were hungry and ate lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. My kids didn't want to shop so they walked back to the hotel. We shopped and looked at various stores for 4 hours. Almost any store that is in a mall is here. Heck some have two on both sides for good measure. The unique thing is the high end stores like Burberry and others on the outside walk. So you can get higher end items if you want while here. The food options are numerous and I ate lunches and dinners at various places on Christmas Eve. The bad news was the mall was of course closed on Christmas Day so I walked back to the movie theatre to watch Spider-Man. As it was Christmas all the decorations outside were set up for the holidays. They did a good job of adding to the holiday cheer. The mall is huge, how huge my phone recorded 9 miles of walking on day one. Keep in mind maybe 3 of that was walking to and from the mall twice from the hotel. We started on the end by Marshall's and walked all the way to the super target. I was glad there was a super target as we were able to buy some groceries to eat at the hotel. While I missed seeing the rest of Ft. Lauderdale we had a good time visiting the mall for three straight days. Definitely one of the top malls in the USA.

Yelp
I always enjoy shopping at The Colonnade at Sawgrass Mills. The design allows you to move between stores easily to shop. It's never congested or to crowded which is also a benefit of the open air malls. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays with a great selection of holiday music!

Yelp
Good mall specially for tourists. We usually bring our families here when they visit from out of town and they love it because of the variety of stores and deals they find It's a pain to get from one end to another so be prepared to walk

Yelp

Yelp
Love this outlet and 100% recommend Don't expect exceptional service because this is a very popular mall so its always packed and everyone always busy. If you have kids PLEASE KEEP 4 eyes on them. Why? This mall is HUGEEE and its not going to be a fun experience trying to find your kid in this mall . Beyond that i think you will have a ball here theres a lot to look and spend go today!

Yelp
Last I heard, this is the largest Outlet Mall in the USA. They are not kidding....they have acres and acres of stores, restaurants, cinemas, etc. The great thing about Sawgrass mill is that you have a wide range of options....from value shops like Primark, Marshall's, Burlington to high end like Gucci, Prada, Ted Baker. You can really get anything you want here.... Luggage, clothing, electronics, cosmetics, jewelry, etc...you get the point...lol... Plenty of parking all around the mall, but also free covered garage near the Oasis section of the mall. I loved my experience here, but you really need to give yourself at least a FULL day to explore the place, unless you are looking for something specific. The restaurant selection is also immense...from quick fast food to nice sit down places. Check it out. About 30 min west of A1A and Oakland Park.

Yelp
The lady was on her phone and didn't say a single word to us. Place was crowded with boxes and overall unclean. We lost the nose ring we bought due to poor packaging and wasted $10 on it.

Yelp
One of the best malls in South Florida! Although I've only been here once, I had the best experience while there. I first came to this mall in 2018 with my sisters and cousin. This was all of our first times coming here except for my cousin as he has been here plenty of times. As soon as we arrived at the mall, the first thing I noticed was how huge the mall is! I was shocked by how huge the mall was; I didn't expect it to be this large. lol. Sawgrass Mills has over 400 retail outlets and name brand discounters. The mall has both indoor and outdoor sections, which prevents the feeling of being cramped while walking around. There were plenty of retail stores to enter, and we decided to check what was there. We came to the mall with a goal of buying new sneakers for school. The first store we went into was Journeys, a very popular sneaker shop. The staff inside Journeys were very welcoming and friendly. I don't remember the name of the staff member that helped us out, but he was very attentive and friendly with us the entire interaction. We were able to shop around the store and try on their latest shoe designs at that time. After exploring, we found the perfect shoes and were quickly checked out, which was great. After that, we decided to check out the cafeteria area for the food and cafes offered. As we were walking to the cafeteria, we noticed a stand that we've seen on Instagram. I'm not sure if they exist anymore, but at that time, this snack item called 'Dragon Breath' was very popular, and this mall had it. We were all excited and bought some to try to see what the rave was all about. The snack was underwhelming as it didn't taste like anything, but it did give you a 'Dragon Breath' experience. After that, we walked around the mall some more and explored all the other stores here. Overall, we had a great time here, and I would love to come back again and see what's new!

Yelp
We were told that this mall would take more than a day to do..I was up for the challenge! Being that it is the 5th largest shopping mall in the US. I can outshop my whole family (they dont have the endurance I do..hehe) I don't have to go into every store, just the stores that I shop such as TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Nordstrom rack, Adidas , Gucci, Coach, and the like. First day we went was on a Sunday, I was surprised that the mall opened until 8p...lucky for me because I went later in the afternoon around 3p. Therefore that is why I had to go back for a second day, I also had a return so thats why I went back the next day Monday and it wasn't as crowded, but I also went later in the day, and they close at 9p weekdays. Second day I got to go to the Colonnade shops which are on the outside, its mostly high end. I was really interested in Gucci, but they had a line outside which is the norm these days...I did a quick window shop to decide if I wanted to wait in the 93 deg weather which feels.like 104!! No, I did not! Nor did I really see anything I wanted to buy, Back to the air-conditioned shopping, hopefully I can go back when Temps are cooler. Its easy to get lost in this mall. We walked over 7000 steps that first day,and over 10000 the second, I think its because we circled once losing our directions , easy workout for me though,, I do 12000 steps almost daily when I'm at home. All the stores are bigger as in square footage, and I really like that, thats what takes so long in each store. Searching for the styles and sizes. Lots of international tourists here...they have their suitcases and carts that look like luggage carts you can rent, rolling around. Some have a 'seat' i saw elderly using to be pushed or 2 kids can fit. I will definitely be back to this mall as I'm sure I'll be back in Fort Lauderdale.
