An absolutely beautiful hotel, large clean and comfortable rooms, charming atmosphere and peaceful outdoor spaces to relax. Vassilis and Angeliki are excellent hosts; they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable. Vassilis has so many stories to tell and countless recommendations for adventures in nature! Anna and Olga prepare delicious breakfasts with a nice range of sweet and savory food to choose from, including local delicacies. They also go out of their way to make different coffees to satisfy all guests :) The breakfast patio is so lovely, one could stay there all day reading a book and enjoying a cold coffee. The location of Saxonis Houses is perfect in Papingo and a short walk from excellent eating places, great cafes and trail starting points. We hope to visit again soon, thank you Vassilis and Angeliki for an unforgettable holiday!

Fantastic and adorable old world guest house. Centrally located in-- absolutely gorgeous beyond words-- Papingo. Beautiful gardens, delicious homemade breakfast included and kind, helpful and knowledgeable host in Vasily. WiFi, comfortable beds and terrific showers. Room also had a kitchenette! I would absolutely stay here again! Thanks for everything Vasily!

Saxonis Guesthouse in Papingo offers a delightful experience with exceptionally kind and helpful hosts. The breakfast, featuring an extensive selection of foods, including delicious coffee from an espresso machine and standout mushroom and spinach pies, was the best I've had at a hotel or guesthouse. The charming ivy-covered buildings add to the picturesque setting, complemented by the warm presence of Carpathian shepherd dogs and cats who greet guests. The views of the cliffs are breathtaking, especially enjoyed during breakfast. The rooms are simple but comfortable, though a shower curtain would help keep the bathroom dry. The guesthouse also offers guided hikes and excellent restaurant recommendations. I would certainly return to this charming retreat, which was a highlight of my time in Greece.

This was our 5th time at Saxonis guesthouse! The hospitality of the owner Vasillis, the clean, charming rooms, the great location and the fresh, homemade breakfasts by Anna are what make this place magical and our reason to keep coming back!
