On the Grid : Sayers

"Just off the beaten track of Oxford Street is Sayers. A staple of Leederville and a brunch haven, set in a bohemian-style space with outdoor and indoor seating. Produce is locally sourced and put together in a creative menu that caters to everyone’s needs. Coffee is specialty blend from five senses, though be sure to come early as there is usually a line in the mornings." - The Brand Agency

The food was delicious, beautifully presented and very well served. The poached egg was cooked to perfection, exactly how I like it. The coffee had a lovely flavour, although it could have been a bit hotter (it was more warm than hot). Still, everything came out really quickly. The staff was friendly and the service was fast, my coffee and food arrived in no time. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

Google
Sayers Sister is a really popular spot, so be prepared for a bit of a queue, especially during peak times. But honestly, it's usually worth it because the food is consistently good, and their coffee is top-notch! They do a great job with their dishes, and you can tell it's a favourite with the locals for a reason. If you don't mind the wait, you're in for a good feed and a cracking brew.

Came here on a week day for Bunch and wanted a place where it’s easy to park and relatively a short distance from the CBD. I had scrambled eggs, hash and mushroom along with a large latte. Good serving size and I am full after having it. Food wise and taste is good as you can really go wrong with this. We sat outside and it was a nice sunny day and was comfortable to talk and have a nice meal.

Google
very cute cafe, cosy vibes, did get a bit ignored by staff and was fobbed off when i tried to ask about the daily salad. had the corn brushetta, Corn was smokey and nice, the rocket was dressed in the whipped feta so creamy and a bit salty, the chimichurri sauce was on the sourdough not super strong flavourwise. the dishes all taste very similar, heavy on dukkah and balsamic.

Google
The cafe has a warm and inviting vibe, definitely a place to meet up with friends over meals comfortably. There's a good range of food and drink choices on the menu. Some interesting/unique options. Well presented dishes, excellent in taste and of good portion and value. Will come back again

Sayers Sister is an absolute gem in Perth! From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional – warm, attentive, and genuine. The food? Simply outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully plated, and cooked to perfection. The cappuccinos were rich and velvety, the kind that makes you pause with every sip. It’s rare to find a place where everything from coffee to the last bite hits the mark so perfectly. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
This place is awesome. They have tons of yummy dishes but I have been hooked on the Chicken Coffle lately with some extra hollandaise sauce. But really anything you get will be absolutely fantastic.

Google
Delicious Breakfast and Amazing Experience! We had a fantastic breakfast — everything was perfect! The atmosphere and service were exceptional, with a beautifully decorated space that felt warm and inviting. Most importantly, the food was wonderful — perfectly presented, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Even my 9-year-old daughter loved her meal! We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This is the original Sayers from Leederville Carr place.. same menu, same owners. sayers little brother in east Perth is a completely different company using Sayers brand and reputation to establish a customer base. Poor ethics, support the original - Sayers Sister

Yelp
Great place for breakfast/brunch. Came by on Saturday morning, got there around 8:30 so avoided the lines some have complained about. Ordered the brisket for breakfast; not at all what I expected but fantastic. Brisket mixed with jalapeños (for some spice), crispy potatoes and onions, it worked perfectly. Very complex flavours, quite enjoyable.

Yelp
Absolutely loved our lunch on Monday. The food was exquisite, we're vegans so opted for the burcher muesli and it was delicious! It had shaved apple, thinly sliced pear, kiwi fruit, strawberries, orange and toasted coconut with a dusting of icing sugar and fresh mint. OMG it was pure delight! The fresh juice if the day was lovely and made more enjoyable by the cool glasses. The cafe space here has a lovely feel with a mix of old and new with beautiful plants and comfy chairs. The service was great...highly recommend.

Yelp
pretty venue, delicious sounding menu, good brunch spot for two. enjoyed the fried chicken croffle.

Yelp
After much anticipation Sayers Sister opened its doors in the quaint end of Northbridge (yes, it exists) this week. The food is very much the same as the older café - big, beautiful homemade cakes, superb 5 Senses coffee and imaginative, thoughtfully plated brunch. This is not a place to visit if you like your eggs uncomplicated in the morning. Head to Sayers Sister if you want an indulgent and creative breakfast. The potato rosti with apple gramble is hard to go past. It's a fancy-pants version of a hash brown; all buttery and crispy and soft at the same time, with wilted mustarded spinach, grilled bacon, perfectly poached eggs and a small mountain of fresh rocket. Expect to wait about 45 mins to an hour during peak brunch time on weekends. I popped in three days after opening and it was abuzz already. There was a bit of a mix up on my meal but I'll forgive, it's only day 3. I'd score the food on par with Sayers, but I am more taken with the fit-out here. It's the same breed but a lot more airy. High ceilings, roomy chairs and bigger tables. Looks fab. Mark and Stephanie did a brill job!

Yelp
Such amazing coffee. When they say large, they mean huge. Friendly staff, newspapers to read and great food. Highly recommended

Yelp
Just like it's older sibling the sister packs a foodie punch. The decor is eclectic and provides some fun to your meal. After admiring the decor our food and coffee arrived in quick order, all with some adventurous but deftly constructed plates. The open omelette had the right amount of seasoning and balance from the balsamic to provide a punch to the palette. Our second breakfast option was the croquettes, which showed texture and and seasoning reign supreme here. Lastly, the sourdough and home made jam was absolutely to die for. I don't know what they did with the jam but is game changing. Do yourself a favour and get into SS for a great experience. Food 9.5/10 service 7.5/10 decor 9/10

Yelp
Sayers Sister has been a staple for coffee and sweet treats and today I headed in for a mid week breakfast meeting. It meant there was no line and the service was very attentive. And the food. Only way to describe it is massive. Don't come hungry or if you're on a diet. I had the omelette with bacon and peperonata. It must've been made with six to eight eggs. It was about 15cm in diameter and about 3cm high. Like I said massive. It was fluffy and tasty. A winner. A friend had the croquettes which again were large and rich. You can see why this place is an institute. And located near Hyde Park means you can walk it off:

Yelp
Ordered the vegetarian breakfast with a cappuccino. Presentation was flawless, service friendly and food was prepared quickly. Also, reasonably priced. Would recommend if in the area, one of the better breakfast options experienced while in Perth. Good selection on the menu as well

Yelp
Really enjoyed this Northbridge cafe. The reviews were a good guide. Very busy but only a small wait for a table( they don't take bookings) for our 10am meet-up. The coffee was the best. Menu had a great variety. We had scrambled eggs n toast. Tajine of mixed pulses with poached eggs Zucchini croquettes with poached eggs and greens All super delicious. Recommend. I had to park a little way away and walked past a few cafes that were not busy. Lining up for Sayers Sister was worth the wait.

Yelp
I am a big Sayers fan but I confess her sibling is a brighter, funkier more lovable venue with a more exciting and delicious menu! I love the open airy feel, the communal tables and the queue heading out the door and down the street on weekend is testimony I'm not the only one. Once again, plenty of gluten free options, and brilliant coffee (5 senses) get yourself there STAT!

Yelp
I had attempted to try out the new Sayers a few times, but each time I tried there was a massive line out the front and I gave up. Making the most of my holiday over summer, I met a friend for lunch there mid week. The place was still very busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table. I adore the fit out out! They've done a great job of capturing the Northbridge vibe. A long bench runs down the middle of the inside of the cafe which is covered with cakes on stands and jars filled with lollies. On each side of the bench high-back upholstered chairs sit snugly next to the exposed brick walls. The staff are friendly and so lovely, and most importantly the food is fantastic. The menu is quite unique and it seemed everyone sitting in our area took forever to decide what they wanted because everything looked so good. It`s great going somewhere that has more than one or two salad options too. I'm a little bit in love with this place and can't wait to go back.

Yelp
AMAZO! This place was so popular we had about a 20 minute wait for a table but they were super accommodating, offering us a muffin whilst waiting in line. We had the industrial size coffee (not actually that big but it had 3 shots of coffee which made up for it! The service from our waitress was so good! She cracked jokes with us and was quick at her job. I went for the simple option of poached eggs on toast with a side of bacon - PERFECT poached eggs! Bacon was cooked to a tee with no greasy parts! My friend has the bacon, Persian feta with bruschetta with a side of a potato cake.... The meal was massive and could easily have fed 2! The third person had the beetroot salmon gravelex which also came with an omelette on toast - so big she could only eat 3/4. Overall definitely worth a visit on a sunny Saturday morning but definately allow at least 90 mins (to eat and wait!)

Yelp
I have been to Sayers Sister before in Leederville and I'm sure with the same name and the same great menu it was not going to disappoint. I'm having a sick day today, lost my voice and everything so I'm in the mood for some soul food to make myself feel better. We all know this calls for a delicious brunch with some poached eggs Let's start with a long black, delicious coffee, not burnt #winning and came in the cutest little cup and saucer, I am a sucker for some cute serving ware. I browsed the menu and I saw the lady sitting next to me eating some delicious looking potato thing, so when the waitress came to take my order I said "I'll have what she's having" and my partner ordered the breakfast bruschetta. What came out was a delicious chunk of potato rosti, with a. Stack of cooked spinach on a bed of grain mustard (yum!) topped with rocket and fresh shaved Parmesan. But wait there's more! Two perfectly poached eggs. I can't praise this meal enough, highly recommended and get there early on the weekend as they don't take weekend bookings. Thanks Sayers, best soul food

Yelp
Sayers are still doing everything right and that's the problem. Unfortunately it has become a peacock parade on Sunday mornings. It's not so much the queuing I mind, it's the fact that a great place feels like it is losing its soul due to popularity. Definitely come here at off peak times and you will love it, but try to avoid the crush.

Yelp
Simply a wonderful hip café. The food is very nicely done, the style is eclectic and warm, and the service is friendly. The free mini-muffins as you wait in line are a great touch. On to the menu items: - The "pancetta, asparagus, spinach, poached egg, hollandaise, almond crumble & toasted sourdough" was really great. Not too big, and a wonderful combination of flavors. - The rösti was not our favorite. Yes, it was huge but a bit more one-dimensional in flavors. During a recent second visit with friends we sampled the menu further: - The lamb was great, but a bit rich on cumin, so it may not be for everyone. - The croquettes were quite subtle and delicate but the 'sauce' had a bit of sourness to the taste; we loved it, but again this may not be for everyone. - The corn bread was amazing. Drinks are excellent too. The spearmint milkshake was my personal favorite: super fresh and yummie! We've sat outside both times. Although the interior is cool & quirky it's also a bit louder.

Yelp
This place is awesome!!! Owned by the owners of Sayers in Leederville, I'm surprised I haven't been to this place before as it's great! I finally have! Set on Lake Street on the Highgate side of Northbridge it is in a lovely neighbourhood. Came here for lunch and was amazed by the atmosphere and decor when I walked in there is a massive table in the middle with beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling over the table. I was very impressed by the look of this cafe very eclectic and cool love it! I ordered the pork rillette (see picture) and it was well presented and delicious! Overall this place is awesome would 100% recommend it as it's not just the food it's the overall experience Sayers Sister has to offer... next time I want to try the coffee and something different. If you haven't been to this place do try it as it's fabulous! :)

Yelp
All time fav and everything is amazing. There are so many new places constantly opening around Perth but this one, I could go back again and again. Fabulous food, decent coffee, happy staff, beautiful decor. Guaranteed a great dining experience at Sayers Sister.

Yelp
Trendy little cafe in Northbridge. Gets quite popular during the weekends; be prepared to wait a bit for a table, especially if you're with a larger group of people. Tasty and creative food (along with several tried-and-true favorites for the less adventurous) with plenty of variety for breakfast/brunch/lunch options.

Yelp
I really liked the layout of the indoor seating. There were tables laid around the outer walls and a large high rise communal table down the centre. We sat at the communal table close to the service area. Table service is provided which is a great asset. As I've been to Sayers before, I was quite familiar with a few of the menu options. Ms. D had a delicious potato rosti at Sayers and I thought about ordering that but I wanted something different and went for the Leek and Parmesan Croquettes ($19). Before we arrived, Mr. T had thoughts of bruschetta for breakfast and was happy to see Bruschetta ($19) on the menu. I ordered a Long Black and Mr. T ordered an Orange Juice to accompany breakfast. We had two beautiful breakfasts packed with different textures and flavours. Both were completely flawless and not a bite was left behind. I loved the croquettes! They were large in size but beautifully stuffed and crispy on the outside. Mr. T's layers of tomato and feta were fantastically presented and just as tasty. Put Sayers Sister on your list!

Yelp
Another Sayers? Went here on the weekend for a late brekkie on the Sunday. We actually dropped by the Tuck Shop but as usual and its my pet hate for popular eateries in Perth, there was a cast of double figures waiting for a seat. Having then headed on over to Sayers Sister we were promptly given a seat and were able to order out breakfast quiet quickly. I am at a loss to understand why some people will wait for hours outside an eatery when there is one around the corner which makes the same IF NOT BETTER food. The food was great and so were the coffees. No hassle, No dramas, NO WAITING for an hour or more. Maybe its the location. Maybe its because they have it down pat already because of Sayers in Leederville. Either way a great place to eat and I have never had to wait long for a table. Great service and a new menu are just a few reasons to pop in and check it out. Just don't tell too many people because I don't like waiting around for my breakfast! The pancakes are awesome and come recommended.

Yelp
I've been to Sayers Sister a few times and the food there is always top quality. The menu has a mix of interesting dishes - it's seems to be one you can't make your mind up easily on, though the Sayers beans aren't one to miss even if they're a side order, they're seriously good. The vibe of this place is wonderful too. They've got cushioned benches and big comfy chairs to sit on, plus they have indoor and outdoor seating depending on what you fancy. On a weekend be prepared to wait, the queues here are pretty mental. On a weekday it's not so bad though. I went on a Thursday morning for breakfast and there were plenty of tables available however, interestingly enough the service when this place wasn't at full steam was surprisingly disappointing. We had to prompt waitresses every time to give us service which really rubbed me the wrong way. It took almost 10 minutes before we gave in and asked if we could order some drinks. While I want to give this place a higher rated review, the fact that the service differed so much when this place wasn't busy really let me down. I know I'll be back though, hopefully my experience was a one off. I'll be sure to update.

Yelp
Love the decor if this place, especially the chairs and the retro decanters and water glasses. I had a quick brekky before work here and it didn't disappoint. I had the quinoa toast with homemade jam, I don't even like jam but this was so good! Perfect amount of sweetness. I just had to add another star for my 3rd amazing brekky in a row - the Breakfast Bruschetta with Pesto is so good and another delicious coffee - can't get enough of this place! Delicious coffee and a great place to meet friends. The only downside is they don't take bookings (so annoyingly common around Perth for brekky now), so get there early.

Yelp
I've been coming to this place since it opened. I've always loved it here and i do prefer this one than the Leederville one even though they both have the same menu. It's a little bit more roomier and a little away from the hustle and bustle of Northbridge. Is a wonderful place for an amazing breakfast, a lazy brunch or a very tasty lunch. Their cakes and baked goods on offer always hit the right spot if you love desserts and all things sweet. I never thought to review this place since it really does speak for itself! There is always a line on the weekends for breakfast, but if you're hankering for good food and you really want to try this place when it's not crowded, then come on a weekday brunch. Perfect time to experience such an amazing cafe all to yourself. Just like I'm doing right now!

Yelp
Superb. A very delicious lunch. We had the soft shell crab and chicken salad. Both great and delicious. Service was superb and efficient. Staff are friendly here. Wish music wasn't so loud though. It would be good not to try to speak over the techno doofdoof bouncing of brick walls. Some noise control would make this place an absolute pleasure. So if you wear hearing aids - turn them off and enjoy peaceful silence. Coffee was great. Loved it. Super well made. Had second one cos it was so good. Happy to return. Maybe will sit outside though.

Yelp
I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Sayers Sister in Lake Street. My only regret was that I could not relax and spend more time there as it was a work day and I was in a bit of a rush! I did take note of the large feature mirror, the exposed brick wall, the interesting furniture and the beautiful hanging lights. There is a lovely sense of light and space which was quite refreshing. My breakfast companions both indulged in the delicious chocolate banana bread which was served with whipped cream and maple syrup. When my breakfast arrived we were speechless. I have never seen such a beautifully presented breakfast in my life! The granola was topped with poached pears and was served in a beautiful, covered blue and white dish. It was accompanied by a jar of thick, creamy yoghurt topped with a berry compote. In the lid were some sliced strawberries. All this was accompanied by a tiny bottle of milk and a shot glass full of maple syrup. I enjoyed every bite and I am already looking to my next meal at the inimitable Sayers Sister! Mention must be made of the delicious macchiato I had to accompany my breakfast. The service was excellent, staff were cheerful, competent and engaging. All in all, it was a lovely experience and I would recommend you all go and try breakfast at Sayers Sister, you will agree it's worth getting out of bed for!!

Yelp
If you are in Perth and looking for a place to get a great coffee and delicious breakfast then you have to try Sayers Sister. My wife and I are so glad we did. Prices are slightly higher than others but the meals are more substantial and you certainly get what you pay for.

Yelp
Myself and a fair few friends came to Sayer's Sister on a Sunday morning, and unfortunately for us they don't take bookings! On arrival we were told that we'd probably have to wait about half an hour because they could only fit us outside, however just as we were about to get a spot there was a mix up which ended up extending our wait for another twenty minutes. It was a very long wait... but worth it! When we finally got to sit down, we ordered drinks first, which arrived quickly. The chai (mine was soy) was to die for. Creamy and delicious, it tasted like being rugged up warm inside during a winter rainstorm. The coffee was good and the honeycomb affogato was almost too cute to drink. After ordering, the food came quite quickly as well, which was a pleasant surprise as the place was busy. I ordered the potato rosti which came with bacon, poached eggs, spinach and a mustard sauce. The rosti was perfect; crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and the serving was very generous. I also got a taste of the buckwheat pancakes which were fluffy and crumbly and delicious! A random side note: the decor in the bathroom was absolutely adorable! I'll definitely be back here soon, although considering the wait it'll hopefully be on a weekday next time!

Yelp
Very good choice of gluten free cakes. The coffee is consistently good and i even tried thier chai today and was pleasantly surprised.

Yelp
Met my favourite daughter here for brunch and had the BEST ever brekkie - Bruschetta with crispy bacon and a poached egg Yum yum Fkn yum Seriosly good food, coffee just a bit luke warm for me but I am assured this is the "correct" temp....

Yelp
I came her recently for a late breakfast with some girlfriends. Love love love how the cafe is decorated, cute arm chairs, decorations and even lolly jars! The food on the other hand, was not that great. My scrambled eggs were extremely sloppy and for scrambled eggs, toast and bacon, I believe $19.00 is a bit steep. This cafe is situated in Mount Lawley but is a bit hidden from the bussy-ness of Beaufort Street, it is a nice change from some of the other hectic cafes.

Yelp
Without a doubt in my mind this would rank as one of Perth's top cafes and eateries. I've been supporting them since their original concept in Leederville. Mark and Steph sayers have truly been major catalysts for food competition and food quality in Perth. The service is outstanding, the quality of food is outstanding and the coffee is fantastic. The ambience at this place needs to words to describe, go and see it for yourself. It reminds me of a little charming cottage and it is truly bringing life to this part of North Perth/Northbridge. The breakfasts here are absolutely sensational and their recipe for the eggs which is a well kept secret is a testament to the standards of where Perth is heading in terms of food quality. I have dined here so many times I've forgotten. For lunch I would definitely recommend the chicken pesto sandwich which is divine, and for breakfast you can't go wrong with their eggs (in any shape) on their toasted ciabatta. It's so sad.. So sad I can never get a seat anymore due to people finding out how amazing this place is! -----13 Apr, 2014----- No matter how many times you come. Both Sayers and Sayers Sister will remain the best place for breakfast in Perth. Congratulations to Steph and Mark and the staff for a venue that actually serves some of the best quality food I have ever witnessed. -Keegan -----07 Aug, 2013----- Going to miss this GEM!. Was here the other day with a friend and as usual had the most excellent fresh means (Wagyu Burger+ Lamb salad). Gonna miss Mark + Steph+ The great crew here as I am moving to Melbourne tomorrow! All the best in your sayers ventures and can't wait to come back soon for an excellent meal and coffee! - Keegan -----14 May, 2013----- The coffee. Has improved 100000000%. It's easily on par with their leederville store. The staff here do such a great job. -----06 Nov, 2012----- 6/11/12. Perfect Service, Food, Cake, Decor... It doesn't matter how many times you go to Sayers, it's always the same. If only all Perth coffee shops could strive for the quality provided by Sayers!! Hot Latte was definitely one of the best and creamiest I've had today, I agree with some reviewers that originally it struggled to be on par with it's leederville store but they are definitely there now! The biggest bonus is also the owners, no matter how busy they become I feel you get treated like royalty here every time. Thank you! -----02 Aug, 2012----- What did anyone expect?. I came here on the opening and just like the one in leederville this is FANTASTIC!! And the decor is amazing. Mark and Stephanie as usual were so happy when you walk in...I love sayers too much :D

Yelp
This is my weekly, family breakfast spot. Every Wednesday my mum, sister and I head down for our 7.15 breakfast (we have a standing booking - which is needed!) and it's a brilliant mid-week pick me up. The food is awesome; the open omelette (tomatoes, manchego and chorizo), the potato rosti with poached eggs or the croquettes filled with leek and potatoes, surrounded by cheese sauce with a side of eggs. They've got coffee, juices and everything else that you could want down pat. At 7.30am every day of the week the place is buzzing with groups of people, business meetings and friends catching up. They're regulars and new opening hours to include dinner, which I am yet to try, show's they're doings something right.

Yelp
Awww mah lawwwd. This place... I ventured here for brekkie on Sunday morning with my partner in crime. Service was prompt and ultra-friendly. We scored a sweet table outside - it was a gawwwwjus day, so we fist-pumped big time. Coffees were ordered within two minutes of being seated. Tick. A good brew, but I didn't expect any less from these guys, having been a regular at Sayers in Leederville. They know what they doin'. I ordered the granola with poached pear and yoghurt. Wow. An explosion of delish all through your mouth. My tastebuds were romanced with a delicately toasted oatty-nutty mix, sprinkled with just the right amount of cinnamon. The Greek yoghurt was delightfully creamy and had a swirl of mixed berry compote through it. And the pear was poached to perfection. Couldn't fault it. I even got spoilt with a piece of fudgy brownie atop my take away coffee when we left.

Yelp
Loved Brekky at Sayers Sister today and it really is lovely - we managed to get a seat at one of the tables fitted with the velvet wingbacks and ordered from a surprisingly generous and well priced menu. Where some delis charge $22 onwards for big brekkies a beautiful served of Salted Beef, Potato Hash, egg and wilted spinach with a special relish costs only $19 at Sayers Sister. No wonder they're always busy. Top food and service and I'll go back for more!
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
Sayers sister has always been on top of my fav brunch spot list! However the recent visit had given me the impression that the foods were good but not outstanding. I didn't get the satisfaction as I thought I would do! Some dishes were too rich whilst the others was either having overly crunchy toast or oily rosti! Not rushing back for the next brunch but would definitely give them another chance in the future
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
Mid week early lunch and the place is packed. The fit out of the place was designed very well, outdoor seating, indoor table or counter seating with the giant mirror on the wall providing the illusion off more space. The funky low hanging lights over the polished concrete counter decorated with different snapped jars filled up with lollies and I may have spotted on of raw sugar for coffee. And a couple of feature walls with photography. To tempt you will power as you wait to place you order there are cakes around the cash registrar. If I wasn't there for lunch then coffee and cake calls, listen carefully and you can hear its voice just a whisper on the wind. I tried the roast lamb loin for my meal and what was presented before me was not so much a meal but a work of art. So much flavour packed into every bite I thought my taste buds where going to be overwhelmed. Lovely food from the first bite to the last

Yelp
Make sure you're ready for a long wait on a Sunday morning, but the staff were really friendly and attentive, always coming out and checking on us, giving us menus etc etc. Great decor, exciting menu, delicious food, speedy service and reliable coffee. Wish there were more places like this for breakfast. I had the tajine with poached eggs... mmmhmmm so good!

Yelp
I first found Sayers Sister whilst staying a few streets away in a hostel for a rugby tour down from my native Kalgoorlie. We headed out for breakfast and it was the first place we crossed. I would say 10 big half drunk rugby players wasn't the usual clientele but we were seated and served promptly. The food served is exceptional within its class and Sayers Sister really ranks as one of my favourite Perth breakfast holes. The menu always has traditional fare, all served with poise and modern twists. The portion size is large for me (100kg rugby playing forward) so I would imagine a lot the Perth WAGs that frequent the café must leave left overs. As well as the traditional style of food there are options that push culinary boundaries but all remain well rounded and delicious. Coffee served is solid and the wide range of fresh fruit juices act as a good back drop to the cuisine on offer. A highlight on the drinks menu is the speciality hot chocolate which is so full of real chocolate it even stopped me in my tracks as a post breakfast dessert! The décor, atmosphere and importantly food are all top notch. I have been back 6-7 times now and even took my parents there when they were over from Qatar. They loved the food and décor also and my Mum even mentioned her Star Anise porridge when we recently met (7 months later!). Get in early to avoid that queue though :p

Yelp
I've been going to Sayers in Leederville for years and loved everything minus the no table service, but Sayers Sister encompasses everything I loved plus table service. Amazing food, the staff are extremely helpful and made us very happy to wait to get a table by checking in with us. I will continue to be Sayers fan and today definitely showed me why I was anyway!! Love Sayers/Sayers Sisters

Yelp
I have heard a lot about Sayers sister and seen a lot of amazing pics on Instagram. I went there at 9am on Saturday and it was full. Luckily didn't have to wait long however by the time we finished there was a line for 15 people or so. Make sure you go early. I had a cornbread, roast pumpkin, poached egg and feta dish. The cornbread was very mourish. The pumpkin tasted amazing and the feta brought salt flavour to the dish. The eggs were cooked perfect and were gooey when broke. The salsa sauce in the bottom brought everything together. My friend had a special type of salmon dish on ciabatta. The salmon was amazing. It tasted like it was smoked but also had that sashimi flavour. I will be coming back again

Yelp
Am a regular Sayers goer but think I like Sayers Sisters better. The set up/decor' is modern chic. Very cool. The menu is slightly different just as good as Sayers. Check it out.

Yelp
Sayers Sister is owned and operated by the same owner of Sayers in Leederville. When we arrived, the restaurant was quite full. (There seems to be a lot of early risers in Perth!) We were given a choice to wait for a proper table or sit at the counter. As hungry and excited as we were, we decided to sit at the counter in front of clear glass jars of candy and sugar. It was a tough decision deciding on what to order as everything on the menu looks good. After perusing the menu and making a decision, we placed our orders at the front counter. The atmosphere at Sayers Sister is nice and cosy although it was a bit crowded. Not long after placing our orders, my Chocolate Honeycomb Affogato ($5) arrived. As most people know, I am not a big fan of coffee and the type of coffee I would usually go for is either a Mocha or Affogato. The Chocolate Honeycomb Affogato was really good and the vanilla ice cream, chocolate honeycomb and coffee together makes it a matchmake in heaven. Yum! There was a bit of wait for our food although we didn't mind as the restaurant was quite busy which gives us a chance to catch up more. I ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes with Banana Toffee ($16.50). The buttermilk pancakes were really light and fluffy and the banana toffee blends well with the pancakes too. It was a really good breakfast dish although I have to admit that at some point of eating it, it was a bit too sweet but problem is solved when you take a sip of water. The pancake is a good dish for those with a sweet tooth or wanting something sweet to start off the day! G ordered the Lemon Myrtle & mustard seed enoki, button, field, brown & oyster mushrooms, Bacon & fried egg on toasted brioche & plum chutney ($18.50) (Try to say it quickly!). According to G, she enjoyed her dish especially the brioche which she admits to being the best part of the dish! Although the dish had several good points, G didn't like the chutney as it was too sweet. M ordered the Potato Rosti, poached eggs, bacon, onion jam, lemon scented wilted spinach ($19.50). M thought that some good points of the dish were the crispy-ness of the potato at the outside while retaining its soft texture in the inside. The sauce also complimented the dish very well and the spinach was tangy. However, M also found that the poached eggs were too watery. Overall, he enjoyed the Potato Rosti dish and thought that it was really yum! We really enjoyed the breakfast at Sayers Sister and had a great time catching up with each other. I highly recommend Sayers Sister if you are keen on having breakfast, brunch or lunch. Although the prices are a bit on the expensive side, it is the quality and taste of the food which makes it worth it. My verdict? Yes, I will definitely be back in the future! Sayers Sister has my vote.

Yelp
After reading so many reviews about this place and hearing how awesome it is, I decided to check it out for myself. We went for a late breaky on a Saturday and the place was buzzing! A small line out the front but the staff we really accommodating and we didn't have to wait too long for a table. Decor was fab, a cool mix of vintage and luxe. The menu, wowzers!! So much to choose from and quite affordable. I ended up going with the bruschetta and my fiancé for the waffles. The bruschetta was PERFECT!! Loved it and can't fault it. The menu was simple but had enough variety to offer choice. So delicious!! Service was great. This is a must visit in Northbridge, can't wait to dine here again!!!

Yelp
The food here is just surprisingly exquisite. Gnocchi tasted like cheese. Three ways cauliflower was super! Tempura style and very good texture. Barumundi was very fresh! Service is friendly and decorations is nice.

Yelp
I do not understand all the fuss about this place. The building itself is small with tables crammed into every available space. The tables are too close together and you find yourself reluctant to talk so you don't disturb the people next to you. Sitting inside this restaurant must have been the same as sitting in an airline economy seat. I had to wait for a table and was then placed outside on the footpath in the blistering sun. To top that off I was given a wonky table that painted the wooden top with my cappuccino every time I moved. I ordered the full breakfast that included egg, potato cake, 3 beans, tomato, mushroom, bacon and Italian sausage. The food was fine. I was not much into the 3 beans because the sauce started to form a hard layer on the top. I left Sayers Sisters with a full belly, empty wallet and sunburn. With all the good reviews there must be something special about this place, I just didn't find it from my experience.

Yelp
What a treat to have this little gem around the corner. The menu is difficult (because everything looks great so it's too hard to choose) and the decisions are made even harder by watching the endless plates of incredible-looking food going past to other tables. Our table of three opted for bloody marys, coffees and the beetroot-cured gravlax, leek croquettes and bean tagine. Everything was thoroughly delicious and I have a feeling they're going to be seeing a lot more of us...

Yelp
One of my favourite places for breakfast. One of the best potato rosti's - crispy and flavoursome. The combinations they have for breakfast are delicious. I love the setting! My bf also loves it because the serving sizes are decent and worth what you pay!
