Scamander Beach Resort

Tonight, we dined at the Scamander Resort restaurant Tasmania, and it was a truly delightful experience. For our entrees, we savored the crumbed local Tasmanian scallops and prawn cocktail, both fresh and beautifully presented. For the main course, I chose the scallops and prawn fettuccine in a garlic sauce, which was simply exquisite—perfectly cooked pasta enveloped in a rich, flavorful sauce that complemented the seafood beautifully. The view of the beach added to the inviting ambiance, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience, especially after traveling through Tasmania. This is the seafood experience I had been looking for!

From the first hello from the friendly front desk staff, to the 'bye, and thanks for staying with us' this was a wonderful experience. Fantastic location. Well appointed, comfy rooms. On site bar and restaurant. The pool and outdoor area are really nice and the beach, with its drift-wood huts is just across the road. Definitely recommend staying here 😊

Ross Wilson in concert with a room overlooking the stage. How perfect. Don’t let the outside fool you, the rooms are recently renovated, shower is good and the bed was very comfy. Views are amazing. Building still needs some work and staff need to learn to be invisible, but pizzas were hot and tasty, drinks were cold and the concert was excellent.

As a family group, we booked two rooms. The rooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. The bar staff were very friendly. All the staff were kind and happy to answer any questions we had. I would happily stay here again.

Visited to meet friends, good service, juice available too Fun and exciting atmosphere. There is live music and you can dance. Spacious parking.Direct view facing the beach and there is a non-smoking area There is also an alcohol shop next to the bar.Every visit to st helen always stops at this bar, for a few beers.Only the toilet doesn't have water for cleaning the buttocks *sorry.It would be better if there was, because I think, almost all visitors are tourists from several countries including Muslim visitors.Sorry, this is just a suggestion. It's a bit difficult for me to use toilet paper🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I have previously stayed here a few times . But this year it was lovely to see that the rooms have been totally refurbished, the whole room has everything brand new , so clean and fresh . The new bed was very comfortable. The views are always amazing. We stayed on the top floor. Scamander you have done an amazing job.👏 We will definitely be back . Thank you for our lovely stay 😀

New management has certainly upped the standards. Service and food in the restaurant is excellent. Food is very fresh and tasty, and very well cooked. Calamari, 3 fish variations, and scallops all very well presented. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Well done.
