Scamander Sanctuary Holiday Park

We stayed in the couples glamping tent and it was beyond amazing! The room was clean and comfortable and gave a romantic and relaxed feel. The toilet and shower was conveniently close by so even though we chose a room without an ensuite we didn’t feel we needed one. Customer service is exceptional, we will definitely be back many more times in the future! Highly recommend you will not be disappointed!

Staying at this clean and well -cared for park was a lovely experience. The glamping tent was roomy, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great indulgence. The communal kitchen is so well equipped, we were able to prepare our meals quickly and easily. Will happily stay again on our next visit.

Booked a powered caravan site at this park. Beautiful location and pleasant walk to the beach. Bathrooms are ensuite style and well looked after and clean. Great laundry too. This park is amazing with lots of glamping options. We loved the grounds which were well planted with native plants. Lots of bird life about and plenty of rabbits. They also have a Sauna and Cold Plunge which is available for hire. Would highly recommend this park.

Can not fault this accommodation experience. The love and care put into a 7 star glamping experience on the beach and in the bush. I have stayed in many 'glamping' accommodation but this location, luxe environment, eco-awareness (the place has been built from recycled materials by the owner Matthew) This is my 2nd time here and we plan to make it a regular getaway. Flawless. 20/10

We had a powered tent site - camped in tents. We have done a lot of caravan parks and this one is on the expensive side. Toilets and showers are well maintained. Camp kitchen has everything you need with seating/tables. About 15min walk to the beach. Lights can shine through your tent. Really great base for your east coast adventures. I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years. Always happy with my stay

A place offers every thing you wanted!! Service: Matt, the owner, is an amazing guy with happy face all the time! So happy to talk to him. He's also very fast response and helpful. Room: We booked a bell tent for three days. It has heater, aircon, mircowave, pots and plates inside. And the mattress is a real mattress, not an air one. Everything in a four star hotel has in it. Just great, clean and nice cozy. And it allowed FIRE!! We have been so much place in Tassie Feb 2026 effected by fire ban. Its sad but understandable, and here, allowed fire, big plus! Wood fire Sauna here is so great and nice setup. Cant beat with a real fire. And Matt, he even agreed to let our ice bath session runs in a tempurture we wanted. Just great, chilled. We sauna every night, just unbelievable. Thank you Matt, we have a good time. And this Pademelon comes our tent every morning too

Booked a glamping bell tent which exceeded all expectations. The location was awesome, close to town but far enough you felt like you were secluded, pretty much had the beach to ourselves. The tents are 5 star luxury , which consists of a large bed, lounge, heater, a/c, microwave , fridge, kettle etc while outside had you own fire oven! Bathrooms, toilets and camp kitchen were all well serviced. Sauna and plunge pool was amazing!!! Matt was one of the best Hosts i have met and a really great guy, nothing was a problem and he went out of his way to make you feel at home. I didnt want to leave and would definitely stay there again.

What a great little hideaway! After thinking we could come to Tassie and just wing it and get accommodations last minute turned sour my wife and I spent 2 hours ringing around Finally found Matt at Scamanda Sanctuary A great bloke We booked a glamping tent as that's all we could find. Didn't have very high expectations as it's only a tent! Were we WRONG! When we unzipped the door to reveal a beautiful double bed and everything else you would need. We travelled up to bay of fires and booked another glamping tent as our experience was that good only to find out it was twice the price and half the size.😮 So we quickly cancelled that one after calling Matt back and booking the same tent again!! EXCELLENT!!!!!!! we will be back
