Scamander Sanctuary Holiday Park

We loved our stay in the caravan section at this fabulous holiday park. Bathrooms were spotless and modern. Very quiet location. Matt is a great host who would go out of his way to ensure your stay was enjoyable. Highly recommend. One of the best spots we’ve stayed at in our 5 weeks in Tassie.

Travelling around Tasmania in our motorhome and came across this gem of a park. Great off season prices. Amenities fabulous and clean. Mathew (owner) is helpful and available if needed. Easy walk to beach and local cafe. Highly recommend 👌 💙🧡🐾

Unbelievable place to stay! The wood fired pizza oven and spa are amazing. I would just say that the area maybe needs a gate across the entrance to stop people from wandering in on you and to give a little more privacy. Would definitely stay again Thanks for the great service Matt! ☺️

I booked it online , it was easy and hassle free. We arrived late due to something coming up at the last minute. We were welcomed by Matt even after hours which we really appreciate. Matt got the hot water tub ready for us and even kept an eye on the fire when we went out for dinner. Matt went far beyond his duties to provide satisfaction to us. He was a good man to have a chat with it. The place was very nice, close to the beach and eatery. They do have parking spaces as well. I forgot to click pictures of the place as I was enchanted by the looks of it. Every picture I clicked has us in the picture. Overall the place is worth the money.

Had a lovely stay in the couples safari tent for our anaversary, weather was not great but the amazing staff gave us an upgrade so we didn't have to walk to bathrooms in the rain completely outshined that bad weather and rain. lovely area, easy to navigate. The rooms were neat and well kept overall was amazing and will definatly be staying again. We headed up to scamander beach resort for dinner one night staff were lovely and food was great definatly recommend the pizza.

We had a very relaxing 5 night Autumn stay here. It was very peaceful and not many others around. Really nice en-suite style amenities, great stocked camp kitchen and electric BBQs outside but still under cover. Fuel, pharmacy, post office and groceries close by plus cafes. About 15 minutes drive to St Helens for more shopping

We stayed at Scamander Sanctuary with our 2 year old daughter and had the most wonderful time! We stayed in one of the luxury self contained tents and it was the perfect getaway. Only a short walk to the beach and in a great little beachside community. The owner Matt was so welcoming and helpful. We loved our time in Scamander and will definitely return!

In our experience the best caravan park in Tasmania. Full ensuite style toilet / showers in the amenities block. Great level grounds with a variety of sites available. Pick your own site. If only all caravan parks could be this good.
