A nice hotel in a good location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast is buffet style with a wide selection of options.

This was my second time in Norway and we had some issues booking another hotel through booking.com! This hotel was open and helpful to us when we needed somewhere to stay. The free breakfast is amazing, the rooms are spacious and the service is friendly. I will say that we are a couple and had to push two single beds together and we kept falling through the middle. The only way to cool the room is for the window to be open and the seagulls can get very loud. There was also a very strong smell coming from the drain or toilet and it’s probably a build up of gas. I’m not sure. Once we ran the water, it went away. Overall, it’s a good place to stay for a few days or a week! The flowers outside the hotel were beautiful. All hotels and places to stay in Norway would benefit from having darkening curtains that fully darken the room as dark as it can get in the summer time.

Kind personel working in the front office and a decent breakfast almost makes up for the fact that whoever cleans these rooms don't care much. On my first day the towels had brown spots. 2 day i noticed the bathroom was not cleaned, third day bathroom still not cleaned. Makes you wonder how clean the sheets and other things are.|Too much dust also indicating poor routines on cleaning. meh..

We stayed here for one night while visiting town. The room was very nice, comfortable, well appointed, and staff were very nice and helpful. Not too far from the town center and close to restaurants and the water front. The restaurant is very good and their staff super nice. Breakfast is plentiful. Worth staying.

Stayed there for a stopover. The hotel is ok, maybe a bit of makeover would be nice. The rate was overpriced, maybe because of the jazz festival? But 270€ for a double room one night is excessive. Breakfast is ok, nothing special. Fresh and juicy fruit. Coffee undrinkable. Staff was friendly, location is great.

Not worth it for the price, possibly even any price. Tiny room, tiny bed, horrible view. We ordered a room that is supposed to have a "large double bed" and recieved two tiny single beds topped with two tiny single mattresses and seperate toppers shoved together, not even secured together on ANY level, and we kept falling through the middle of them. This is NOT a "bed" suitable to give to customers who order a room with a large double bed. No mini fridge, no kettle or tea or coffee facilities in room. No ventilation in room - switch for the extraction fan in bathroom has been removed and it cannot be switched on. No way to open window, therefore no ventilation in room from showering. We had to park in a random car park down the street because the hotel had no parking left on site for paying guests. Would not recommend.
