Scandic Alexandra Molde

An exceptional experience in the heart of Molde! My recent stay at the Scandic Alexandra Hotel was an absolute perfection from start to finish. This hotel deserves all the praise, and here's why: An incredible view! If you manage to get a room overlooking the fjord and mountains, you won't believe your eyes.

Everything you need for a short or longer term stay in Molde. Hotels are much the same and this one met my standards perfectly. Extensive breakfast buffet, polite and service-minded staff and situated center Molde. I even got a veranda with my room by chance. I guess that can be asked for while booking. Overall a nice hotell.

Good place but I did not get the room with a view so I cannot confirm if the hotel rooms have a great view. Breakfast is good. And cleaning staff are very nice.

You generally know what you're going to get with a Scandic Hotel and the Molde hotel is no different. Easy check in and a good sized, well equipped clean room. Not having a proper bar was a downside, but there are plenty of places close by to get a drink and something to eat.|Service during checking in/out was good and breakfast is typical Scandinavian. There's nothing especially memorable about the hotel, which is generally a good thing. If you want a city centre hotel in the lovely city of Molde, then this is a great choice.

The Scandic Alexander is a lovely hotel situated in the middle of Molde. The rooms are nice, the staff are lovely, the breakfast buffet in the morning was beautiful. It's a reasonably priced hotel in a perfect location. The Scandic Alexander Hotel is only 800 metres from The Aker Stadium. I recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

This was my second time in Norway and we had some issues booking another hotel through booking.com! This hotel was open and helpful to us when we needed somewhere to stay. The free breakfast is amazing, the rooms are spacious and the service is friendly. I will say that we are a couple and had to push two single beds together and we kept falling through the middle. The only way to cool the room is for the window to be open and the seagulls can get very loud. There was also a very strong smell coming from the drain or toilet and it’s probably a build up of gas. I’m not sure. Once we ran the water, it went away. Overall, it’s a good place to stay for a few days or a week! The flowers outside the hotel were beautiful. All hotels and places to stay in Norway would benefit from having darkening curtains that fully darken the room as dark as it can get in the summer time.

Stayed there for a stopover. The hotel is ok, maybe a bit of makeover would be nice. The rate was overpriced, maybe because of the jazz festival? But 270€ for a double room one night is excessive. Breakfast is ok, nothing special. Fresh and juicy fruit. Coffee undrinkable. Staff was friendly, location is great.
