I think I was in time for the renovations because yes the carpet was old, but I didn't mind. The couch was old but that didn't matter. The beds were good, the bathroom was good as new, and very large and comortable. I had issues with the long black haired russian speaking lady at breakfast who constantly attempted to gossip with her coworker who's behind the bar trying to work. They check your stay upon arrival to the buffet, which is understandable but it's done in a very strict and unpleasant way. She then proceeds to blatantly gossip not only about us but other guests which made us very uncomfortable. Next time don't do it where we can see you? Or like, don't do it at all? Furthermore, the buffet wasn't all that fresh. Eggs were rubbery, veggies and fruit dried out like they were a few days old. But the renovations, that were also happening when we were staying, seemed to be good so keep up the good work on that part.

Stay away. The staff steal from you and lie to your face... Not worth staying 1 hour. I'll explain so ppl can judge themselves. I stay one weekend in August. Single room alone. Saturday morning after I was finish shower,I reached out for the towel hanging there and discovered it has been used. It was a woman face in makeup on it. I was in shock and was unsure I could use the second towel. It might be dirty to. I go down in the reception with the dirty towel and explain what I discovered. "I'll let them know" was all the man in the reception say. No apology or any excuses at all. Totally lack of service from this man. Well anyway. I checked out on Sunday and discovered when I got home I had forgotten a bottle of perfume. Is a expensive perfume that costs 2000.- nok for 60 ml. So I call the hotel on Monday 25 august around 11 o'clock to tell i forget my perfume. The lady I talk to in the reception say she will ask the staff if there was something forgotten the room after I checked out on sunday,and call me back. Well I waited the whole day and no one calls me back. So I try to call back on Tuesday 26 August..no one picks up or call back. On Wednesday I didn't call. But Thursday 27 August I call for the third time. Of course I didn't meet the same person as I talk to on Monday so I had to explain everything again. I did and she say she will investigate about it and call me back. After approximately 1 hour she calls back and say she been talking to the staff member who had cleaned my room and there was no perfume in the bathroom. I say it's impossible..bcos I know I forgot it. Well there wasn't anything she could do about it as longe as the staff member say it wasn't anything in the room. I didn't accept that answer. So I told here to make a epost to the management at the hotel. And she told me she will do. I still waiting for the management to contact me about this incident. So I doubt she ever did it.. Of course it's much easier to put a bottle of perfume in the bag instead of a phone or tablet. The perfume can be used..a phone not. And yes it's my mistake I forget the perfume in the first place. But it's not my mistake that the staff steals it when cleaning the room. And lies about to the other staff at the hotel.. I will never ever recommend this hotel to anyone in my life. Stay away..it's not worth it...

Very basic hotel and for the money it was poor value. Quite run down although they seem to be refurbishing some of the rooms. Room had a seating area, seemed reasonably clean although the bathroom was very small and the shower leaked from the bottom all over the floor as the glass panel did not seem long enough. Fauske itself is quite rundown. We would not recommend staying here

We had a god overnight stay at the hotel. Parked the MC safe outside the hotel on the parking place. The room was against the sea and with a nice view. The personel were helpsom. The room and general areas were clean and tidy

If you need a stay for a good night sleep, this is not the place. They have locals driving their cars right by the hotel, with loud «music», meeting at the docks right by to continue the sound blast for at least an hour around midnight. This is standard whenever you stay over in a weekend or during the week. If you should need it, it is a noisy table fan in the room. The room itself have an okey and relatively good standard. Breakfast is varied, also within gluten free, and options for coffee included espresso. Parking is free and included.

The hotel I recently visited left much to be desired. While the reception area was well-maintained and the location was satisfactory, the overall experience fell short of expectations. Despite the initial excitement over the promised panoramic view, the reality was disappointing as the designated room was uncomfortably warm due to a malfunctioning air conditioning system. The lack of proper ventilation in the restroom only added to the discomfort, with no bidet or alternative provided (atleast a dipper or a pitcher). In such hot weather, a cold shower would have been a welcome relief, but even this was not an option due to the absence of a small fridge for cold drinks. As a frequent guest of SCANDIC hotels in Finland, where cleanliness and completeness are typically guaranteed, this experience was particularly disappointing.

I ordered from TooGoodToGo, arrived at the specified time, but the doors were closed! Seriously, the hotel doors were closed? This can’t be true, but in this village, anything is possible… I was left hungry and angry!
