Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer

The bed was big and comfortable. Everything was very clean. The room was spacious. The only bad point was it was just slightly too warm without a way to lower the temperature or open the window. Nothing too uncomfortable though. The breakfast was very copious and had a lot of options. All the food I tried was good. The area of the hotel was good, close to many dinning options and close to the touristic places.

The Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer is in an excellent location, close enough to the train station to be convenient but a quiet street away from the hubbub, and near the museums across the river. The hotel itself was quite nice - great shower, entire room clean, functional, and new looking, and spacious by European hotel standards for the price range. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast seemed overpriced however so did not include it in my stay. Will definitely be my hotel of choice if I am ever back in Frankfurt.

The front desk is a bit disorganized but aside from that, I couldn’t find anything wrong here. The room was very reasonably priced, and the view amazing. The room is laid out in an unusual but very functional fashion. To make the best use of space, the bed is on an elevated platform facing the window.|Breakfast was very expensive (€28), but quite good. |Decorations were spartan and there were no functional USB ports but that was not a big deal! I would consider another stay here

This hotel was perfect for my needs. I would stay again. Reasonably priced. The rooms are very clean, the front desk staff is friendly/knowledgeable, the hotel is centrally located and felt very safe. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable beds/pillows. |Also, if you are planning on doing any guided day tours, the meeting spot is less than a five minute walk from the hotel.

What a miserable stay!!! It's such a pity because there's a lot to like about this hotel. The common areas are light and airy, the staff are friendly and the location is great.|We stayed in Autumn and our room was very hot and stuffy! The AC is centrally operated so it has no effect on the room temperature.|We live in Australia so we are used to a warm room but this was so stuffy it made sleeping impossible-it was like a sauna. (Infact my handwashing dried in no time.)|There were also a number of maintenance issues we reported but these were not attended to during our 3-day stay. The most awkward was that the majority of the power outlets didn't work. It's hard to recharge your devices without power.|The final straw was the lack of maid service. I've stayed in a number of hotels over the years and the green button by the door displaying a maid has always indicated a request to have your room serviced. Well, not here. You need to join the daily queue at reception and make a verbal request each day of your stay to have your bins emptied and coffee and tea refreshed.|Hubby and I are touring Europe and had a number of forward bookings at Scandic. We cancelled them all. Never again!

The reception staff were terrific. Nothing was too much trouble. They were very friendly and I hope the hotel appreciates them. They were the late afternoon/evening shift I think. We had the room with the view and it was an amazing view. For us it was worth a small price difference. But, the environmental efficiencies meant that the room processes were not ideal. The room had no phone and a call to reception from your own phone was via a call routing system.The default choice to skip room cleans meant that the undersized bins were not emptied and bathroom supplies were not replaced. The location could have been a little better as some nearby streets near the station did not feel super safe - but the hotel street was fine. The room itself was great although our bathroom had some water issues. We would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. A modern Scandinavian-style building mixed with a contemporary look. The rooms are well laid out, some with lovely views of the River. Well-positioned, close to Hoptbahnof and central Frankfurt. The staff are nice. Breakfast is really good. Clean hotel with all amenities. The gym is really nice with modern equipment. Thoroughly recommend.

Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer is a conveniently located, contemporary, and very clean hotel. Its position within walking distance of the river made it easy to explore the city and enjoy the nearby sights. The views of the city from my room were a highlight, boasting a fantastic view of the sunset over the cityscape. The gym was also a nice bonus—though the treadmill was unfortunately out of order during our stay, it gave us the perfect excuse to go for a scenic run along the river instead. Overall, a solid and comfortable stay in a great location.
