Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer

the room was hot during winter that i could not sleep AT ALL. i was sweating. even though the window was opened, and heater was not on. Also, the power sockets were not working and had to ask the staff to fix for us. wanted to give 1 star but the breakfast was good in term of variety and there is a gym room which is fully equipped. toilet was spacious , i like the sink. location wise is ok, not the best as still need to do some walking. it seems like a popular hotel though. but i had better stay at intercity near train station

Even though we arrived at 9 am in the morning they actually nearly had a room for us already for us. And we where invited to enjoy a complementary breakfast while waiting for our room. Wow! The room was perfect, Clean, smart lightning in the bathroom. Comfy beds. Nice staff. Very good breakfast. This is the Scandic standard. I'm never disappointed.

Scandic Frankfurt is conveniently located within walking distance of: Frankfurt Hbf (8mins), The Rhine River (2mins) and Romanplatz (18mins). The rooms were elevated from the standard, but had older coffee making facilities, and some leaking/water damage in the bathroom. The digital television was well equipped with channels from all over the world but no way to cast our own movies from our phones which we would’ve really appreciated, considering the age of the TV it should be able to cast. Bed linens were fantastic, as well as the size of the bed. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as it was an additional charge when booking (from memory €24pp/day) but it was always busy so perhaps this was also above standard. We really enjoyed the gym which was clean and modern. Only one of each piece of equipment/machine though would make it hard to work out if there were more than two people in the gym. For a hotel with 20 floors, I would imagine that scenario would be quite common. Overall, a really nice stay in Scandic Frankfurt.

We stayed 4 nights in SFM. Location is strategically convenient: 7 minutes from main rail station, 15-20 minutes from FRA Messe, 20-25 minutes by slow walking to the old part of Frankfurt. All points of interest are easily reached by walk. ||Room is very functional. Scandinavian style as it is. View over the skyscrapers was fantastic. Lifts are cosmic. They are very fast like 30 sec to Mars. ||Please be aware that cleaning is upon request. If you need it you get it. Fresh fruit water and apples are always available in the lobby. ||Breakfast is awesome! Different kinds of fish, lots of vegetables, organic products, DIY juices, waffles, sparkling wine etc. ||The team is a result of a very professional HR department. All members of a team are intelligent, friendly and careful. ||All in all, we are very satisfied with our stay in Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer. Thank you very much!

The staff are nice. The room is a nice size with comfortable beds and modern. About 10 minute walk from the train station. Maybe 5-10 minute drive to the Christmas market which is in old town on the river same side as the hotel. Lots of museums across the water if you are interested. Easily walkable for most people.

Everything was great except for one thing - the entire hotel was incredibly hot - over 25C in our room with the heat turned off, the card unplugged (turning off all electric), and the window being open. It was disgusting. The lobby wasnt any better. Not sure how this hotel is ecologically friendly when its running a terrarium the entire time. Would've been a 5 if they had normal heating/cooling. Sleeping when its near 80F just doesnt work.

I stayed at the Scandic Hotel in Frankfurt for two nights and was very happy with my choice. ||There were plenty of storage and seating areas in the room, and an ironing board and iron in the cupboard, which was great! The only downside was, that my room was close to the elevators, and I heard them constantly until I fell asleep.

The worst part of my stay was that there was no hot water in the room. I tried calling the hotel phone, but only reached an automated service with no option to speak to a real person. When I went to the reception to report the issue, the staff member said she was aware of the problem but couldn’t help because she was just an intern. While there were notices at the reception about TVs not working in some rooms, there was no information at all about the hot water issue.||||On top of that, there was a bunch of black hair on the bathroom shelf, which was extremely unpleasant. Breakfast was also overcrowded and chaotic. Overall, this experience was very disappointing and far from what I would expect from a hotel.
