Scandic Grand Central

It was an excellent choice. I paid for a room with a window and also a room with tea-making equipment. The room was extremely comfortable with a first class shower. It was tastefully decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The entire hotel gives off a good vibe. It is also very well situated, just a short walk from the station and within easy walking distance of the Gamla Stan tourist honey-trap. Bearing in mind that Stockholm is not a cheap city, the hotel was excellent value for money. I used the bar and restaurant on one occasion and that was excellent too. Heartily recommended and if I return to Stockholm, I shall be booking the same hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room is comfortable, and the location is extremely convenient, with easy access from the train station. The ambience of the hotel is warm and welcoming, making it a great place to relax. A special mention goes to Rasmus, who truly made our stay even better. He is incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, making sure everything was alright. He gave us great recommendations around the area and even helped us with directions to the nearby Old Town, which we really appreciated.

The hotel is in the perfect location if you want to sight see in downtown Stockholm, the room is okay. The bathroom is definitely a safety hazard as it leeks into the rest of the bathroom. We asked someone to open a window for the room because there is barely any circulation when sleeping. He agreed to coming up and never showed up, my wife and I were sweating the entire night and the heater was off. Please advise how stuffy the rooms can be without wanting them too.

Great location. Let's start with the important things. Service is great. Breakfast is even better, a lot of things to choose from hot and cold. My room was nice but small. Beds are comfortable.

I stayed here for a business trip due to the proximity to the commuter rail and the fun vibe. The hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with a lot of options, I enjoyed the overnight oats every morning. The room I got with my corporate rate was a bit small but ok for one person. It had musical quotes in the room and a picture of a singer (I think from ABBA) The one odd thing was no closet or drawers, just hangers on a bar on the wall. The bathroom was nice but had an odd set up where the shower door had a large gap between it and the panel connecting it to the wall. The floor ended up soaked after every shower. The hotel advertises there is live music but I couldn't find any schedule. One night I would have liked to just eat in the hotel bar after a long day but the menu was extremely small and did not have food I wanted.

Had a great stay for 3 nights. The room, whilst slightly small, was more than enough and was super quiet. Didn't hear another guest at all. ||Breakfast was excellent, and the best scrambled eggs i've ever had in a hotel!

Stayed 3 nights as part of a tour. Great location but rooms are very small .|Staff were great , breakfast good . Had dinner there one night bistro very noisy due to a quiz night on the mezzanine . Food acceptable and not overpriced by Stockholm standards. Would stay again.

The room itself was smaller than expected compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in, but it was well-kept and clean. Breakfast was simple—nothing extraordinary, yet sufficient to start the day on a good note.
