We had a One night stay in Hamar on the way to Stockholm. Hotel has everything you need as a family. I liked the kids play area where you can let your kids to play while taking a break. We really enjoyed the breakfast that has so many options. Calm and relaxed. There are small things that need to be improved but can’t really complain of. Very recommended

Very clean hotel with great service! I had a really pleasant stay at this Scandic hotel. The room was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and everything felt well-organized. A great choice for both short and longer stays

The entire hotel felt modern and clean. Lovely, clean room and a great breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Great for a layover or if you’re planning on staying in the area. Also approved by our cat who enjoyed her stay 😺

Pro: Nice and modern hotel and room. Nice breakfast. Nice and friendly staff. Cons: You have to pay for the car parking. At times it's like someone puts a power drill to the wall (maybe when someone uses the water and the pipes are "moving") There is Aircon, but it's only possible to regulate in the reception (and not in the room)

We had a great time in Hamar staying at Scandic for a week. The staff was kind and helped with everything we needed. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection. Our favourites by far were the super crunchy waffles. We'll definitely be back!

Just back from a resort stay in Greece, but believe it or not… the breakfast at Scandic Hamar in Norway completely blew it out of the water! ||You can really feel the care and effort they put into their breakfast spread — from a classic Norwegian breakfast with all kinds of delicious toppings, to a generous plate of smoked salmon, fresh seasonal vegetables, and vibrant fruits. ||And here's the kicker: I’ve never stayed at a hotel that offers whole avocados at breakfast! That’s next-level freshness right there.||It’s rare to find a hotel where you feel both spoiled and nourished at the same time — but Scandic Hamar pulls it off beautifully. Definitely a place that serves breakfast with heart.

A good hotel to stay at and was in the vicinity of everything we needed. The temperature of the room and bathroom were unnecessarily hot even after asking the staff to turn the temperature down. Otherwise the room was great. The parking available was on a dirt parking area so not the best but cost 115kr a day. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I spent 2 nights at a conference at ScandicHamar. This hotel was even better than expected. (15mins walk from TrainStation, going through Parkgata, then you get to the backside entrance) The staff did an excellent job, very friendly and helpful. Some of the staff were quite young, and it was great to see how well they were trained! The breakfast and lunches were excellent, and also the dinner one of the nights. Rooms were very nice and well done, and the hotel was not first in line for a redecoration/upgrade. (The only negative thing I can think of, is that the elevators were a bit too small with 8 floors at such a big hotel) I would def. like to come back some time as a private person
