Scandic Helsingborg North

As a Scandic Friends Level 3 member, I’ve stayed at many of their hotels, but this one was truly special. The reception staff was incredibly helpful. We stayed here for New Year’s Eve, and it was the perfect quiet start to the year. ​The hotel is exceptionally wheelchair-friendly; the rooms are spacious, and the adjustable electric bed (with back support movement) was a fantastic feature. Plus, having a dedicated free parking spot for guests with disabilities was a huge convenience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and accessibility!

We had a great stay, conveniently located when traveling by car, great breakfast and the sauna was a lovely bonus. A bit busy the weekend we were there. Would recommend if traveling with kids as there’s a lot of extra things to keep them occupied.

Excellent, luxurious, and comfortable, suitable for all families and singles, including young men and women. It's a great place for holidays and tourism. Well, there are a few things that could be worse. At least I spent a calm night in a sufficiently comfortable bed. The hotel is easy to reach by car and they have a large parking lot. This is why I preferred this place over a city center hotel.||The rest was a bit strange. Most prominent was my experience at the reception desk when I wanted to prolong my stay for one more day. The lady at the counter bluntly refused my request and told me that I have to book by the internet. So I had to go back to my room, set up my computer click through the reservation procedure and enter my credit card details over a non-secure internet connection. To make the payment, I needed my pin generator that was still in the car. And finally I had to hope that the cleaning staff will comprehend that this room is booked for one more night and does not remove my stuff.||As if it would be the most normal thing in the world they ignored the 'Do not disturb' sign, touched my personal belongings during my absence and closed the window making the air in the room unbreathable. There is no privacy in this place. At least, they didn't remove anything.||Concerning the other guests, dogs, undisciplined children and tattoos seem to be mandatory accessoires. So if you want to enjoy your breakfast with a more decent surrounding choose another place. Breakfast is Swedish style, so don't ask for butter, different kinds of confiture, honey or even unflavored green tea.||

My wife and I came here with a large tour group. However, we were on our own upon arrival. I was impressed with all the various activities for families. In the lobby, there is a large table for kids to color at. There is a pool table and ping pong table for older kids and adults. The lobby has plenty of snack options. The bar has plenty of drinks for all tastes. The restaurant offers a buffet or you can order off the menu. Even the breakfast bar offers a wide variety of options with meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, plenty of bread, and of course eggs. We were here for only one night, but it was good. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and more than adequate. Scandic is always dependable.

Great place. Rooms could have more amedities like minibar, coffeemaker, kettle for boiling water. Personnel is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean.

This has to be one of the worst places I have put money to sleep. when in fact I got none. Family of 4 needed a place to sleep for the night, neither of the adults got any sleep. Bed was as firm as a Rock and Noise from ALL over the place prevented any form of sleep. Service personel did nothing to accomodate any requests what so ever. The Kids "mocktail" was a Mock of all kinds, but nothing that was inviting at all, would rather have had plain juice. "Bartender" did not acknowledge my request that something was off, as the description of the mocktail was nothing like the drink served.

We had our cat with us and they gave us a room for “pets” honestly the room smelled like a vet, I couldn’t sleep but I had to stay because we arrived at 2am. I was so disappointed, I would have preferred a normal room, not one that is always full of dogs, and smells super bad. Other than that the breakfast was fine.
