Nice hotel located in the heart of Karlstad city. Very conveniently located at the shopping street in Karlstad. Friendly staff. Comfy simple room and clean. Cosy dinning place. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Will be back

A large hotel with a good location. Comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Good restaurant. The parking garage is quite tight. Missing kettle in the room but free coffee/tea is available at reception

Hotel located in city center. OK rooms, good bed, quite relaxing sleep, price range affordable.|Street parking available if you keen to search for parking spot, there is also a parking hall nearby but it costs few kronor, street parking is free from 18:00 - 8:00.|Breakfast was good rich as it is normally in Nordic.

Overall a below average experience.||We had 4 rooms traveling af families. Overall the hotel seemed overhelmed by high season ||Restaurant was a mess and was placed in a conference room. We came to the restaurant at 19:00 with a booking for 10. We was the last guest to order food. the experience of setting in a conference room was clear. After seeing the buffet we decided to order a la carte. We order from the menu with no extra request and 4 of them kids menus. It took mere than 1 hour for the food to come… BUT 3 courses missing!! Another wait and we was not able to eat at the same time. The chef was polite and was given a apology and it seemed like they where trying. After the meal we explained our disapointment to the wait staff and some persistent explaining. We was offered a discount. Next time we eat in the city.||Morningbuffet was a mystery! Large buffet but overall not inspiring and alot of readymade options.||One thing we simply dont understand according to Scandic profile of beeing healthy and nutritious for kids…. Serving candy and Oreo’s for kidsbuffet ??||Rooms was fine but when you booked for 4 persons it gives a not ready feeling when the bunkbeds needed to be prepared.||VERY NOISY! Alot of noise from the street from loud cars and the floor above us was noisy from foodsteps.

- Absolutely not at the level of European standards of other cities. the value for money is a profound minus . The rum offer only a queen bad and towels in the bathroom. -The cutlery for breakfast was not clean in the restaurant area (I even found a dark hair in the yogurt) -the staff does not know how to give information about night clubs with music in the area. -in the room there is a cheap television produced 13 years ago but a LED TV is shown on Booking.com. -at 11pm children are heard running in the corridors of the hotel -the price : one night 194 € but the room offers only the bed and the breakfast. +The bed very comfortable and clean. It is incredible that when the swedish people come on holiday to Italy they demand a lot but when they have to offer things in their country they give so little for so much money

Comfortable an large room. Nicely situated in central town. Breakfast is good and have all you expect from a Swedish breakfast. Staff are service-minded and smiling. And, the hotel has a SPA.

I har a really god night sleep i Karlstad thanks to Scandic City.||A comfortable bed in a rom with a lot of space.||The stagg is very helpful with my requests and a super breakfast made my day. The location made it possible to walk to the scheduled meetings.

Friendly staff. Exellent service and breakfast. Parking nearby in garage if you didnt want to stay in the hotels garage. Very clean room and nice French balcony in my room. Slept really well. Clowe to city center restaurants and bars.
