Scandic Kristiansund

Great, friendly staff. We had a large, clean room and a beautiful view of the harbour. Easy and affordable parking as well. Definitely recommend this hotel!

This is not the Ritz Carlton. However in comparison to other mid range hotels, the Scandic is excellent. |We paid a small amount extra for a room with a view of the bay. The cost was reasonable considering the high prices in Norway. The room was old, but clean with a nice view. Breakfast was good. Parking is in a garage next to the hotel and was convenient. Staff was pleasant.

We like Scandic hotels, the corporate ethos appeals to me - I like the 24 hour free coffee machine and very much apreciated the soda/water tap in the common area, where you can actually easily fill your flask. |The check-in was warm and welcoming, the room not fancy but well up to standard and we were even given a whole carton of milk so that my husband could make tea with the kettle in our room. |The breakfast, as we expected from our previous experience with Scandic, was a delightful choice of everything, including pickled fish, which we like.|The location is not very inspiring but that is not the fault of the management:)

I have traveled all across Norway and if there is one city I highly recommend it's Kristiansund. There's plenty of activities in the area and one of Norway's best hotels. We stayed at the Scandic Kristiansund with her 10 floors of majestic views of the Norwegian fjords. The breakfast was out of this world with every type of delicious Norwegian foods and excellent staff who are genuinely friendly and want to help. If you plan to stay, be sure to sign up for their frequent stay program which is really good. I have top tier status wtih Hilton, Hyatt and IHG and so I know and appreciate excellence in every category and that exists at this hotel. Highly recommended.

It is a good place to stay — conveniently located close to nearby amenities, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel offers a good breakfast spread, and you can even borrow a bicycle to ride around town, which is a nice touch. The overall stay was pleasant. Should improve on Rooms and Passenger lift.

Quiet, clean and very helpful reception. The rom had a comfy bed and pillow, it was spacious. I only had breakfast and it was amazing 🤩 Totally recommend to stay here if you’ll have a chance.

I was surprised that the location worked so well for me. Close to the center of town. Grocery store next door. You are just a few minutes away from the Sundbåten which will take across the bay to all the islands for free. Breakfast room was great as was the breakfast. They do a fantastic job. Plenty of outlets in our room and I used them all.

Staying overnight on our way to the tiny island of Grip, we enjoyed our stay at this Scandic Hotel conveniently located in the centre of Kristiansund. ||Nice place, friendly and helpful staff and splendid breakfast. Thanks!
