We stayed in the family room which had twin bed plus a sofa bed. The beds were comfortable. The room had a desk and adequate storage areas. There were sufficient European style plugs, however, it would have been nice to have some USB power sockets in the room.||The room was clean as was the bathroom. The bathroom had a good range of toiletries. Wi-Fi speeds were good and there were a few channels on the television including BBC News. there were distant views of the harbour and the fjord from the room. The room was quiet with minimal outside noise despite the railway station being opposite.||There was a good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice of both hot and cold meals. despite the hotel being busy with two groups, we did not have to queue for breakfast.||We ate an evening meal at the restaurant. We opted for the buffet, however, this can be expensive. If travelling with a child ensure that you are billed correctly for the child which we were not. ||The main issue with this hotel is the parking. The hotel parking lot is in adequate for the number of guests staying there. This leads to many guests parking in a public parking lot which is opposite the hotel and is chargeable from 9 am every day. As Mo i rana wants to attract tourists this needs to be sorted out. ||If I was travelling to the area again, I would stay here, however, as mentioned the car parking needs sorting out.

Excellent Food,Exquisite Rooms and especially friendly and helpful personnel. After our group arrived well after the regular Dinner time due to delay a Team of waitresses stood ready and served us delicious Subway style Sandwiches and brownies that tasted amazing. The beds were insanely soft and the breakfast Buffet had a Big variety of foods and drinks, which all tasted amazing. All in all i would recommend going to this Hotel everytime in the vicinity of Mo i Rana

Scandic Meyergården is a decent hotel in Mo I Rana. Location is good and there is parking places available and part of those are with electric car charging possibly. Albeit when hotel is full, there most likely is not too many free places close to the doors. So please remember to park between lines. Rooms on new building side are in good condition. Our room was Master suite (got good offer as Scandic Friend) and that room was excellent with nice fjord view.

It's a nice building with mix of old and modern. Good location if you have business in Mo i Rana. My experience was that the service was unnecessarily poor on most accounts. Here are the examples: -there was no available parking and most of the spots seemed to be taken up by employees. It was very expensive and inconvenient to find parking near by. -I had to do some work from the hotel and needed a quite place. The reception said all the meeting rooms were booked. I didn't pay gor one, so that seemed ok, but... I saw several small meeting rooms that were unused during my entire time working from various parts of the lobby. Apparently it was inconvenient for the receptionist to just check. -I found a very nice place to relax and work. An antique library room. I asked a receptionist if it was ok to read there for a while and that was of course fine and the purpose of the "library" room. Some other guests came in and tried to throw me out because they had an adjacent room booked for a private ceremony. Not necessarily the hotel's fault but there were no signs or clear expectations. This was the breaking point for me to decide to write a review. I do business and organize academic and industry conferences in the region often. I won't be using this hotel again of its possible to avoid.

I always go to this Hotel. The breakfast is súper, the meeting rooms are very convenient, the restaurant is a good choice. The shuttle from the airport is ok and good prize. Very well placed. ||Shower, bed.... it all is ok. For being a norwegian hotel the friendness of the people at reception is in the average.
