Scandic Segevång

Once a clean and welcoming hotel with good service and great breakfast, our experience was very disappointing. Self registration of vehicles required to avoid parking fine, dead insects and stains on walls, no climate control, and window could only be opened a crack. No microwave or fridge in room. Breakfast buffet used to be great with fresh foods including smoked salmon, fresh rolls, five or six cheeses and a variety of fruits along with the typical breakfast buffet foods. Now the buffet includes two kinds of inexpensive cheese, a couple of cheap fruits, ordinary breads/rolls, runny scrambled eggs, and other unremarkable food. The room prices have increased dramatically in the meantime.

Nice place, and friendly staff. Good value for money. Free parking and lots of MER chargers for the car. Its easy to download app and get started at a low cost.

Excellent front desk reception, warm welcome plus water bowl and goodies for your dog. Clean room and bathroom, great breakfast. However, when it comes to hamburgers, what you pay for is definitely not what you get. The hamburgers, (one meat and one vegetarian), arrrive, each in a kind of greaseproof paper holder, with french fries nicely cooked and arranged in a basket. We chose french fries, one of 3 choices, the other one being different salads. On the table where you eat, is an advertisement, with the prices of the nuts and chips that would nicely accompany your drink. Which drink would that be, given the exorbitant price of the beers? All this creates a sense of impermanence, even discomfort for the weary traveller. Another tip: dont scrimp on food, so that guests are still hungry after dinner in an otherwise perfectly fine hotel.

We had a great stay at this hotel! It’s very family-friendly with plenty of space and som activities for kids. The service was absolutely perfect – staff were always helpful and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable, and the breakfast as well as the food in general was really good. The pool was just okay for adults, but for children it was ideal.The gym was a bit small, but still nice and had everything we needed.||Its located outside Malmö, but with bus, about 20 minut from the city center. || All in all, a great place for families looking for comfort and good value.||

Good location and price. I was unlucky I had a room near near the swimming pool, you will hear a loud squeaking noise all day long, always. So if you are looking for rest… look elsewhere. For me it was a wast of money. I would have had a beter rest in my car …

Not the first time visiting Segevång but this time wasn't to it's best. Pros: Very good communication and friendly staff Clean rooms Exceptionally delicious breakfast Good location if you are looking to be away from centrum and close to highway Cons: Bed sheet was washed without being checked and it has some sord of paper in it. I found the paper stick to bed sheet. The electricity outlet from the bathroom was found with protection unscrew witch is dangerous when you looking for the switch to turn the light on, you can electrocuted yourself. The cooling fan was not functional because of a loose nut. All issues was fixt by me and not informing the front desk, was quicker that way The worst part was kids yelling at our door at 3 o'clock in the middle of the night for 30 minutes and no one from reception doing something about it!! Unacceptable!!! I've rated 3 stars because I use Scandic hotels 6 months a year and I never had a negative experience like this in the last 3 years. I belive it was an isolated experience. I still recommend Scandic hotels (not Segevång) based on 3 years experience with very good value and services. I recommend to be careful and check all electricity outlets for safety reasons.

The service was very good and rooms fits perfect for a family holiday. The hotel did a very good job to offer activities for the kids!
