Excellent front desk reception, warm welcome plus water bowl and goodies for your dog. Clean room and bathroom, great breakfast.
However, when it comes to hamburgers, what you pay for is definitely not what you get. The hamburgers, (one meat and one vegetarian), arrrive, each in a kind of greaseproof paper holder, with french fries nicely cooked and arranged in a basket. We chose french fries, one of 3 choices, the other one being different salads.
On the table where you eat, is an advertisement, with the prices of the nuts and chips that would nicely accompany your drink. Which drink would that be, given the exorbitant price of the beers?
All this creates a sense of impermanence, even discomfort for the weary traveller. Another tip: dont scrimp on food, so that guests are still hungry after dinner in an otherwise perfectly fine hotel.
