I stayed at this hotel for work. From the outside it looked a bit shabby, but inside it felt much better. The receptionist was friendly and I got my room quickly. The room itself was okay, with a comfortable bed – although it was two single beds pushed together, which was a bit annoying when you’re used to sleeping in a bigger bed.
The bathroom was fine, nothing special. The hotel also had a small gym with a decent selection of equipment, and a swimming pool that was small but met the basic expectations for a hotel pool. There was also a restaurant on-site, and the food was alright – nothing impressive, but you get full.
The breakfast, however, was surprisingly good with a wide selection. The only downside was the lack of a proper coffee machine – only regular brewed coffee was available, which was a minus.
While we were staying there, large parts of the hotel were being renovated, so we saw a lot of construction work going on.
Overall, a good stay in a nice location, with friendly staff, decent facilities, and a great breakfast – even if the exterior and some parts of the hotel could use improvement.
