Scandic Seilet

Place is minutes away from the port. Pool and a spa right at the side of the hotel.||Room:|We were DISAPPOINTED. The room was not what we expected it to be, it was not spacious at all. Booked a junior suite for a family of 4, but it almost looked like their standard family room. It was a waste of money and effort to drive their. The table was on the side, TV was placed on a gulvstativ that was almost as tall as the bed. The furnitures are not really placed where it should be. See the attached pictures below.||Breakfast:|Friendly restaurant staff. A lot of varieties of food to choose from. ||Staff:|We called the reception just to confirm if we got the correct room, unfortunately it's their junior suite room. The girl on the reception asked as to pay more if we want to be upgraded into another room, which we would never do! We didnt even got the room that we paid for.||I think the hotels needs to update their website so that the customers would know what to expect and not end up getting disappointed.

I had planned a birthday weekend for my girlfriend and choose the Scandic Seilet as somewhere we would like. I am very glad I did, we had brilliant weather, brilliant room with a fantastic view onto Moldefjord. Molde was buzzing with a local exhibition of clubs and groups. The short walk into Molde is a beautiful stroll. We had the breakfast buffet both mornings and the staff were so polite, the food was really good, and the various of food on display was mouthwatering. The closeness and convience of Moldebabet was handy and guests got a discount. Definitely will visit again.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Molde. The hotel has a spa and a couple of bars, one overlooking the Fjord and the Futbol stadium. This is also a stop along St Olav's Way Pilgrimage. I would highly recommend this hotel.

definitely not recommendet especially with children. 1. Staff in resepsjon very unfriendly and unwelcome. 2.Cold in rooms and all hotel ( winter time) 3.Oldschool TV in room without internet 4.Kids bed ( sofa bed) was tragic, impossible to sleep 5.Mainswitch working ridiculous, if you switch lights for the night you cant charge phone at night near the bed 6. Kids playroom also ridiculous nothing to do there. Breakfast was okey, and welcoming staff work there👌🏼 Spa ok, but long way to go and its cold everywhere, no hairdrayer in spa🫠relaxation room was cold to. One good thing about hotel is location, really nice view, but atmosphere not cozy at all.

Very nice hotel. Large, modern rooms with a lot of windows. There is a spa and a swimming pool right across from the hotel. Sufficient parking space is available, although not free. Breakfast buffet and restaurant were good. Nice bar and lounge area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back to this one whenever I've got the chance.

Excellent location on the shore of the fjord with a beautiful bay. The room is comfortable and clean. I was very satisfied with the services and the comfort of the hotel

One of the best hotels I have ever been to, localisation and the view from the window are just perfect. The room was large, with a big double bed and one a bit small. A nice space for relaxing and a bedroom with a heated floor. Breakfast was awesome, I haven't seen so much choice. But the best anyway is the view from the window, you can have the room with a view for the fjord and Atlantic ocean which is far away, but you can feel as it was in the range of hand. I just can't wait to come here again. Unfortunately the parking is not free for clients.

I chose this hotel based on reviews and location. Compared to other hotels of similar ratings, this one seemed. Ore expensive. We walked in our room and it was ridiculously hot, as they had left the drapes to their very expansive windows completely open on one of the hottest days of the year. With no air conditioning this created a problem. We changed rooms and had the exact same issue, so got a fan and closed the drapes. The second room was larger but had a broken toilet seat, so it was clear the hotel needed some updating. The women at the front desk were very nice, but seemed inexperienced. This was made painfully clear when we were given the ferry schedule (towards Ålesund) for our Sunday departure and told that the drive was 4-5 minutes. We gave ourselves a time cushion, but there was a Sunday market that resulted in road closures and we watched the ferry pull out as we pulled up. My heart sank as this meant waiting 30 minutes for the next one on a day where we already had little time in Alesund. I called to speak to the manager and was told she wouldn’t be at the hotel until the next day. I voiced my frustration to the woman at the desk who promised the manager would return my call the following day but the manager never responded. I thought this lack of customer service was unacceptable for a hotel of this rating and I would never stay there again.

It was a perfect view and we got a room based on the local football club who's stadium was right next to us and the breakfast was delicious if you're going on a roadtrip in Norway like me visit here for a night or two!
