What a great place to stay for a night. Bathtub in the basic room and some nice shampoo to make bubble bath with. Super comfortable beds, spacious room, nice gym and very friendly service. The breakfast buffet was clearly organized and had everything and everything was good. Excellent experience!

Very friendly price 4 star hotel, with sauna, gym, big breakfast area, and huge room! It is possibly the best 4 star I have ever had. I was gonna rate it 5 stat but on the last day when I brought my luggage box to the breakfast area, one senior staff came to me and “tell” me to put the luggage box outside in a pretty rushy way. From what I heard when she chatted with other staff, this is how she talked so this doesn’t means she is rude to me, just that I am a grade deflator, so somehow I can find one reason to deduct this hotel by one star

We are a vegan family and usually don’t book breakfast when we stay at a hotel as we don’t want to cross-subsidise foods for others that we don’t consume ourselves for ethical reasons. This was an exception as it seemed impossible to find a hotel without breakfast included and above all, because one of the staff of Scandic S:t Jörgen got back to my inquiry about vegan breakfast items, telling us what would be available, which sounded really good. In reality, it was even better. ||The vegan breakfast at Scandic S:t Jörgen has been the best vegan breakfast we have ever had in a non-vegan hotel. Apart from the standard food (breads, cereals, fruit and veg, vegan yoghurts, milks, spreads etc.), we got vegan pancakes as well and from day 2 also vegan sausages. The staff in the breakfast room was super-friendly and super-helpful and the breakfast was really great every day. ||||Any hotel that really wants to be sustainable has to start with the foods they serve, so as long as these crazy amounts of animal products are provided that we saw every day there, true sustainability cannot be achieved. Therefore, I would really love to see the hotel advertising their vegan breakfast much more and, above all, expanding on this while reducing high-emission, cruelty-based animal foods at the same time. ||||

Among the positives are the location, comfortable beds, clean bedding and towels, the availability of detergents, as well as the silence on the floors and in the hotel itself. Relatively clean. Good breakfast, tasty and a good choice for both adults and children. Disliked: the rooms do not look like 4 stars. Outdated furniture, pictures, doors, fittings, floor. Dirty windows, elevators. The room lacks both air conditioning and general climate control. The water faucet in the shower was broken in the room. Only very hot water that constantly turns into boiling water. It is not possible to wash, you can get burns. Not acceptable!

Situated the middle of the big street at a perfect location of the city with bus stops close by. Service was fine and checking in went smooth (online). The room didn’t feel totally clean but okay, not nasty but not super fresh. the walls felt thin and we woke up from sounds, drunk guests chanting and slammer in walls. The prize however was great and the breakfast had nothing to complain about with lots of options for none meat eaters aswell. Would recommend for a short visit!

Too expensive for old hotel, with very dirty rooms. The room I got had a hair on the toilet seat and the sink was not clean. Shower head looked like it has not been cleaned for years, it had a lot of dirt layers on it. ||Breakfast is basic. ||Stuff is friendly, depending on who you meet. On my check in I got zero information about breakfast hours and that I need to book the breakfast, that the hotel is closed after certain hour and that I need to ring on a clock to come into the hotel.... I got no information at all. ||The best thing with this hotel is the location.

At the check-in, I was told that Scandic Friends card is no longer valid. Yes, it's been a few years when I stayed there last time, but there is no expiry date on the card, and I dont recall any communications to that effect either. Quite a mystery how that membership has just vanished without any trace! The room offered just the basics and no window. Welcome to the present day ... presumably one must take special care to request the window feature at the booking time. On my floor some type of winter damage repairs were going on too. Sauna was a great bonus, but the scoop had broken apart. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was just as great and rich as always. There was a request at the desk to book the time in advance, but luckily that was not truly enforced.

This hotel is very good located in the city center of malmo, close to train station, close to supermarkets. Breakfast and personnel are very good. The only problem is with the room: a little bit cold, dirty walls, no fridge in room, no slippers. Overall it worth it for location and breakfast.
