At first sight, the location of this hotel doesn’t look too promising, near to two main roads and a service station but the vast majority of the rooms look out over lawn to deep banks of trees and the hotel is surprisingly quiet, even with the windows open. The rooms are exactly as shown on the internet, very comfortable and well designed with tons of storage for a standard room size. Excellent bedding and towels and good hot water. The included breakfast is also excellent with a nice view from the breakfast room. Staff were very helpful. May seem a strange thing to write, but we particularly loved the unique hallway carpet which we assume must have been designed especially for Scandic. Highly recommended.
