My wife and I just spent 3 nights there and we have some mixed feelings about our experience.
One, the ventilation/aircon is constantly on. You cannot turn it off. In our room, the air coming out was coldish and we didn't like that. If I'm paying to stay in a place I want to be able to control de temperature of the room.
Two, the bed was way too soft. As soon as we lied down' it sunk. We didn't like that eaither.
Three, the pillows were too soft and void (too little filling). They did provide with other ones, but those were still too soft for us. It would be great if hotels (some actually do) could have pillow options since every person's preferences or needs are different.
Four, the breakfast was amazing. Very varied, with lots of options for all tastes. But, the schedules for it were too short in some of the days and that meant that everyone went down at the same time and there was an overbooking feeling. Also, not everybody is up to sharing a communal table, specially first thing in the morning.
Also, since you're offering so many options for tea and especially coffee, it would have been nice to have some decaf tea and coffee.
Five, in a country like Norway, where there are more hours of daylight done most of us are accustomed to, I find it unbelievable that you don't provide a system for completely blocking out light (no blinds and the curtains didn't close entirely).
Six, the door to the room didn't always lock on its own after closing it. Some times it did and some times it didn't. Some times, swiping the card locked it and some times it did the opposite- That's very confusing. And dangerous.
And finally, the first day, we set the do not disturb sign on the door and housekeeping came in and did the room anyway. What's the point of the sign if you're not going to respect the guests wishes?
So, all in all, a nice place but with quite a bit of room for improvement in my opinion.
