Scandic Winn

Nice place to stay, great staff and a nice lobby with excellent breakfast. But the price per night was much to high in relation to room and location (hink even good hotel in Copenhagen is less expensive and Karlstad is not, definately not Copenhagen). Rom rather samll and one of the lamps in the rrom had a annoying high frequency "bzzz" sound. Easy to solve, just switch off but anyway...

Nice enough room, but maybe a tad expensive for what you get, and a great breakfast. It was obvious, however, that booking this hotel via Booking instead of via the hotel chain's own website was a mistake. When the staff realised that was the way I had booked, they suddenly turned uppity and literally, word for word, told me how much more expensive it was for their hotel to have me as a guest then. I won't return to this particular hotel again.

Would never recommend this hotel. We were put in a disabled facility room. It was freezing cold, probably hadnt been used for some time. Bathroom had a lot of black mould. Bed very hard and uncomfortable. No tea or coffee facilities. When I complained to reception the lady was extremely rude. Said no heaters available will give you an extra doona. She also said we should have booked a more expensive room. We were in a large group tour others complained too.

Serviceminded staff, good location, comfortable bed and very good breakfast! The relax was small, only a jacuzzi with very warm water and a couple of chairs. But nice and clean.

I mostly visit Scandic Winn every time I'm in Karlstad. Basically because of their relax area. Love it. ||The room and the stuff are great as well, highly recommended.

A lovely hotel with exceptionally kind staff. Special thanks to everyone at reception—they were all incredibly helpful, especially the senior receptionist who assisted us in the morning when a taxi driver tried to charge four times the normal fare.

Very nice hotell and great people working there . Nice and cozy rooms. The only downside can be the buffet. Not much to choose from. If u buy yourself a bigger meal it is kind of small portions .

Perfect hotell for a family. Close to city center. God service. Noce sauna and spa pool. Perfect room for 4 people.
