Scarborough State Beach

This is our favorite beach! Clean facilities for changing. This was the day before a storm that was at sea. Surf was incredibly high.

Very nice view from the outside ... don't waste 2 much time at this beach there cooler spots down the road this is more for a picture than a swim

This is honestly one of my favorite beaches to visit, any time of the year. Unfortunately, it does get really crowed during the prime hours in the busy season, but I do still feel this beach is worth visiting despite that. I've seen a number of beautiful sunsets at this beach, and I love hiking around the old ruins of the church at the far end of the beach, as well as around the rocky tide pool areas that I typically see relatively few people at, even during the busy season. There is a lot to explore here and I've very much enjoyed my many visits to this lovely beach!

Visited off season on a whim as we were nearby so can't speak to crowd sizes but the beach and views were absolutely gorgeous!

Beautiful view of the ocean and Point Judith Lighthouse in the distance. Neat clean facility and restrooms. However, we wondered why there were no shells on the beach and why the water was brown. We were told there is a nearby sewage treatment plant- too bad!

Scarborough State Beach is a beautiful, lengthy, soft sand beach off the coast of Rhode Island. Family friendly with areas for barbecue and cooking make this a wonderful place for a vacation

This is a beautiful beach. Both times I visited it was morning and very quiet. Nice long stretch to walk. Medium waves and beautiful, soft sand. A favorite spot for sure. Large parking lot. Off season parking is free.

Scarborough State Beach in Narragansett Rhode Island is a wonderful beach to visit. Parking for the day will cost $14. The beach is well maintained and very clean. Social Distancing is highly encouraged while visiting. Bathroom and showers are closed at this time (mid August) due to a water shortage.
