Scenic Hotel Te Pania

The hotel has great parking and is centrally located in Napier. In the room the bed was comfortable, the shower was great and it was a great to have a bath as well. The bed linens and towels are good quality.||We had a great room with windows to the side and front. Wonderful sunrises. ||There are some dated features that need attention, especially the fact the the fan in the bathroom is on constantly all day long. Not only an irritating but also a waste of power.||Breakfast was very good except using one of those pump urns for hot water for tea. It is never hot enough. But I asked for a pot of water and it came quickly. So no drama.

We stayed for only one evening on our way from Waihi down to the Athletics in Hastings. We enjoyed the amazing view out over the ocean from our room. The room was spacious and well set out with a great bathroom set up. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were polite, helpful, and the room was immaculately presented and very clean.

Great hotel in the centre of Napier. Rooms at the front have two chairs and a table which are really pleasant to sit at and watch people and the sea. Also two chairs in a hotel room is sheer luxury! Room is well equipped and a guest laundry is a bonus. Free car parking and if there are no spaces the reception team will find you one. Easy walking distance of town. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Excellent location right across the beach, the rooms were lovely and clean, free parking was handy. Housekeeping staff were very friendly. Our only complaint is the beds were a little hard and the lady who checked us out was not friendly. Other than that it was a lovely stay and we'd stay again.

We stayed at the Scenic Hotel for New Year’s Eve. It was a prime location to watch the fireworks and listen to the music. We had a most delicious meal at the restaurant. The waiting staff were amazing. The buffet breakfast was great. A very good variety. The room was very clean and comfortable. And spacious. The staff were very pleasant

We were treated with a beautiful hand written note, chocolate and surprise bubbles in our gorgeous room on arrival - such a lovely touch. Every staff member we interacted with was just perfect. Thank you all so much for some fabulous memories.

Absolutely spot on in every-way. What a really nice surprise was to have a welcoming Christmas present and card in our room on arrival ! Nice touch Katie. Honestly this hotel rocks, we had a fantastic room on the 6th floor with a view to die for. Very clean and comfortable as always. By the way every room has a view. Thank you again to the whole team for giving up their Christmas and Boxing day for us to have a wonderful stay. Kind Regards Steve

We spent 3 nights at the Scenic Te Pania. This modern hotel is located along the beach boulevard, close to a majority of tourist attractions in Napier. It is well run, very clean ,has ample free parking and has very pleasant staff. The buffet breakfast was good value. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
