We stayed at the Yosemite View property and our experience was all around amazing! The cabin was super cozy and kept us warm. Very clean. And the kitchen was well equipped with all necessary cookware, even bigger pots and pans for group meals. They even had a fun Yosemite puzzle that we enjoyed doing. The location in Yosemite West was a short drive to the valley floor and very convenient. We'll definitely be booking with Scenic Wonders again!

We stayed it 7292 Black Oak Lane. Property was very clean and great. I wish there was a 2nd bathroom or at least powder room. Great location. 30 minutes drive to Curry Village and Glacier Point. You have everything in the property full kitchen with Refrigerator, Oven, Microwave, blenders and all pots, pans and utensils. Owner lives next door is very good and friendly. We were running low on gas in our car and the Owner was kind enough to fill some without taking money. Would go back any day.

We stayed at Dogwood Manor. While the overall house was OK, the floor on the main level turned our feet black as though it hadn't been mopped in months. The house also needed a little TLC with a broken toilet on the main floor, the kitchen faucet handle coming off and the dishwasher never draining completely. The large burner on the stove did not heat evenly. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms, 1 queen and 1 bunk bed twin over double and a full bathroom. Main level is kitchen, eating area, living room, narrow wrap around deck, queen bedroom and full bath. Also laundry and garage. Top floor is loft with day bed with trundle, master king suite with large bathroom and huge closet. Has A/C. Would I stay here again? Maybe. I'd bring some cleaning supplies and tools.

STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND AT THE RISK OF INJURY TO YOUR FAMILY! THE ACCOMODATIONS ARE HAZARDOUS AND DEFECTIVE. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN! The accommodations that we had for 5 nights, the Scenic Wonders home and Scenic Wonders apartment (Both are in the same building) was poorly maintained, dirty, and hazardous. For example, one of the toilets didn't have a flush handle! One of the refrigerators didn't work. Two of the cooktop burners didn't work. Several of the windows didn't work, and to keep them open we had to prop them open with water bottles. This is especially important to know because there is no air conditioning, so the only way to keep cool is by opening windows, which don't stay open! The two sliding screen doors have broken wheels and channels and torn screens, so opening up the sliding doors for ventilation brings in it's share of mosquitoes and flies. The exhaust fan in one of the bathrooms doesn't work. There are electrical outlets that don't have plastic cover plates on them, exposing you and your children to electrical wiring. The main lighting fixture in the great room doesn't work. The wood stairs and wood railings are broken and splintered in numerous locations, so you constantly have to watch where you or your children place their hands to avoid splinters. We documented 15 defects like this upon arrival at the facility. We were not given the option to move to a safer home. YOU NEED TO KNOW that the management and customer service are horrible. We made over a dozen phone calls to the local managers and the reservation line without anyone responding. They are glad to take your money, but don't expect them to care about you after you've paid.

We stayed at Chipmunks Den for 2 nights. On the first day when we were out, someone entered the property without any notice, and took away the light on the nightstand (maybe also other stuff we didn't notice)! I reached out to the customer service via email immediately but the person asked me to call the local management group. There is no service at all in the area, how can they expect us to make a call to get help?! Nobody responded to my email after that, and we felt sooooooo unsafe in the remaining time! I couldn't sleep well on that night! I made the call after we getting out of Yosemite, they just told us there were no records showing someone getting into the house during our stay. I asked them to investigate further, and again, no response after that! DO NOT select this place! You never know who is able to enter it and take your stuff. We were just lucky as we took our values with us instead of leaving them in the property.

We stayed at the Starlight Lodge. It was fabulous for our crew of 9. No problems whatsoever. Very easy to get to the Valley and lots of things to do right there in Wawona. I would definitely stay with Scenic again. They are fantastic to work with. Aces!!!!!!

We stayed at Adventure Lodge in Yosemite west . Our plan was to stay 4 nights but only made it through 2 nights . . We walked into the home and immediately noticed the kitchen cabinets had dirty hand prints on it . The dishwasher had dirty dishes loaded . We ran the dishwasher thinking it was an oversight . Then our son told us the shower handle was broken he took a shower with cold water since the knob would not stay in place . We had 7 guests so we all had to share one bathroom. We emailed and got a vague response . We then sent another email the next day . No response. I called the service number no response. Then we noticed a piece of metal on the bottom of the stove was falling off . We sent in another email . We were so disappointed and frustrated for spending so much money we emailed them saying we are cutting our trip short by 2 nights . Again , no response . We called again and still have not gotten a call back ! This is the worst customer service we have ever received. Don’t stay here! It cost so much money and they are not cooperating in any way . Had they just called and said they will fix the situation it would not have escalated us leaving so soon . Next , I’ll be calling the better business bureau to file a complaint. They need to reimburse us for the 2 nights that were cut short . 7 people sharing one bathroom was ridiculous! That’s why we picked a place that said it could accommodate 10 !!!

We loved staying at the Hawk's Nest cabin - a comfortable little house in a beautiful setting! Being in the park was so convenient and saved us a ton of time getting to trails in the morning and coming back in the afternoons when we were exhausted. Hawk's Nest is close to Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove. Another advantage of being in the park is how quiet it is. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms and a full kitchen. We brought groceries from home and had so much fun cooking and eating while enjoying the gorgeous views from every window. There's plenty of parking. We'd definitely stay here again!

Yelp
One of the only private places near Yosemite West that you can stay at that is INSIDE the national park. It's still about a 15-20 min drive away from Yosemite Valley and the visitors center, so from that perspective 5 stars for convenience. If you are lucky enough to snag lodging with reservation.gov, then even better, but that comes with a heftier price tag. Otherwise most other places will easily be 45-60min out. We booked a loft for 2 of us, which was extremely spacious, in fact the place would have accommodated 4 adults and 2 children. We had a few hiccups at check in, the code to the door wasn't set to the right code, there was unreliable reception, so it took awhile to get a hold of someone to let us in, it actually seems like we may have been the only ones in the building because the power was cut off at first until they turned it back on later. Otherwise, this is going to be more "luxurious" than camping, for example, but certainly not a 5 star place. The small kitchenette fit our needs perfectly and we were glad they had satellite TV. All in all, we were comfortable.

Yelp
We stayed at Sequoias East on Black Oak road. The location is the best thing about this property. It's beautiful, gorgeous trees and fresh mountain air. Internet is very sketchy but you're not really going to get consistent internet anywhere in Yosemite. The Satellite TV was also hit and miss (mostly miss), but again, you don't come to Yosemite for that. This particular property was clean, microwave was broken with a sign on it that says "don't use", outdoor grill had a lot of grease on the grates which resulted in lots of flames. It's pricey so I would expect everything to be in good working order.

Yelp
Not helpful and they leave u hanging with no communication. No call backs and if they stress u out and you get upset they hang up on you, pass u to supervisor and then just ignore u. Homes not that great and had many problems!

Yelp
Bad sleep, not clean, appliance didnt work. Bad service. Be warry of Scenic Wonder's policies. When we rented, their official policy was not to give refunds. So, if there's a fire, flood, snow storm, or other reason for roads and/or Yosemite Park to close (all of which have happened multiple times in the last several years) you could be out of luck on an expensive rental. Trip insurance will add to your expense but may not cover you since those sorts of events are foreseeable. Do you really want to take that risk while Scenic Wonders gets to pocket your money? Aside from that, this poor rating is also due to property maintenance problems, lack of cleanliness, and poor customer service. It's tough when you drive a long way to meet friends to find that things in your weekend rental are not clean, appliances don't work properly, and you get woken up at night by loud noise coming from the property. It gets worse when you call the Scenic Wonders support line on the afternoon of your arrival about a problem and they don't respond. It's gets really bad when we reached out to Scenic Wonders management after the weekend and their messages back to us gave us the impression that they could not be bothered and did not care that the problems significantly impacted our weekend. We recommend you say away from anything managed by Scenic Wonders. There are lots of other management companies around Yosemite with fair policies in the case of adverse events and ones that will support you if something goes wrong. You can do better.

Yelp
My parents, my brother, my husband and I stayed at the Hawk's Nest cabin and loved it! It was really comfortable for 5 adults. The location *in* the park can't be beat. Hawk's Nest is located between Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove - there's tons to do. We brought groceries from home and cooked dinners every night in the kitchen. Amenities were great. Lovely views from the porch and from all the windows. We'd definitely stay here again!

Yelp
We stayed in condo A206. This was a private condo unit near Yosemite West where you can stay that is already INSIDE the national park, and approx. 25-30 mns from the Yosemite Valley floor and the visitors center. We booked a loft for 4 of us, which was extremely spacious. Overall, our stay was decent. There were both Pros and Cons to the unit where we stayed. The PRO's were that the condo was clean upon arrival. The building inside was immaculate daily, both hallways and stairs, and smelled clean. The small kitchenette fit our cooking needs perfectly and we were happy to see they had some satellite TV, such as news, and certain complimentary shows. The condo had a "snow lodge" type of charm to its decor that we liked. The beds were comfortable, with adequate pillows which were also very comfortable, and the sheets were not too crispy. The fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave were all a decent size to use. The condo was pretty quiet and did not carry too much noise from the other units. The entrance code to the door worked perfectly. The CON's were that we had service issues upon arrival that we needed to point out. The upstairs shower was not in working order and delayed our arrival at Yosemite NP by one hour as we were 4 adults trying to get ready in one shower. We missed our opportunity to rent bicycles. This was truly disappointing. The couch was in poor shape, ripped in both cushions on the back, and inside under the main seating areas. The dining chair leg was broken so when my husband sat down for our first night's dinner, he was thrown to the floor. The screen was ripped at the bottom, gaping open. If we wanted fresh air, we were met with mosquitos during each evening and morning. There was a black trim piece hanging from the dining light downstairs. The downstairs toilet handle did not flush, and the toilet ran on unless we held the handle and then jiggled it profusely. These service issues all prompted a service ticket for someone to enter our unit the next morning of our arrival which we were not too happy about. My visiting family are from the midwest and didn't like their belongings being left in the condo with people coming in and out. The last item was regarding the stairs. We knew going in there was no elevator, and the condo was on the 2nd floor. We didn't realize just how many levels of different stairs there would be. My sister just had knee surgery 3 months ago and was pushed to her pain threshold with 21 stairs up and down each way. At one point, she said she just couldn't and said we may have to carry her. This issue and the lack of any food options, pool and/or spa in the complex was a bit disappointing as well. Overall, we would be hard-pressed to consider returning to the same location at another time. The condo was clean, smelled nice, and had all the great amenities to benefit us inside, however, it lacked in many other ways.

Yelp
Stayed at the Red Fox Retreat. The bedroom downstairs has a mattress that felt like plywood. They had air-conditioning with no vents to the master AND no fans. Thermostat was set to 84 degrees and it was an oven. Called 4 times to the property management to ask for a fan and left messages each time and emailed and never got a return call. If I could give a negative stars I would. 5 paper towels left on a roll, no way to clean anything. $500 per night for a very uncomfortable stay. Would not recommend.

Yelp
My family and I stayed three nights and the Bruins den. when we walked in we were very impressed with the decorations the cleanliness and all of the amenities in the kitchen and the gains it was very inviting and comfortable. The first night we had a water leak and clogged drains no one was able to assess, But was told to turn off the water so my husband did so since there were seven people and no workable bathrooms we were given a different cabin to sleep at it was 11 PM so we left. The next morning we came back a gentleman was there to assess the water leaks could not find anything wrong, so he turned back on the water and we continued our stay with not much trouble with the water. We were just concerned as homeowners ourselves what the damage was Other than the headache of the first 24 hours our stay was great I will go back again, but probably stay at a different cabin Sherry

Yelp
Stay away from this place. Over-priced and horrible customer service. I had booked condo A110 for 3 nights in March 2021. When I arrived at the property, my code did not work for room A110. Luckily there was a house phone available, else I would have been stranded (no phone coverage, no wifi, car broke down). The person handling the phone told me that my reservation had been updated to another location. I had not received any notification about this. However, they eventually got me into room A105 but only for 2 nights. There was no solution offered for the 3rd night. I tried calling back the next day but did not receive any response. We were forced to book at another location and paid $450 a night due to the last-minute booking.

Yelp
The location can't be beat. As part of only 5% of Yosemite that is not protected, national park, and literally has its only entrance INSIDE the park, the area that holds Sequoia East - which is the cabin we stayed in - is magnificent. It's a unique opportunity to start your day from inside Yosemite. However, the location was not as advertised in several ways. The ad boasted "be the first to stay at this newly built mountain retreat" however, nothing upon arrival or entering communicates that it is new. The outside of the house is already showing weathering. When we opened the front door, we were accosted by a strong odor - part stale food and part musty, closed-up building. If the bedding in any of the rooms is new, it is "new" from a thrift store. I was hoping the pictures online were simply poor images and the bedding simply themed as campy and country. Unfortunately, in real life the bedding AND the beds seemed to be dilapidated and much used - coming by their campy country look by overuse and lack of quality. While two TVs and Dish TV programming was advertised, they failed to mention that there is only ONE tuner. So my kids couldn't watch something different on the downstairs tv than we were watching on the upstairs tv - which to me defeats the entire purpose of TWO TVs. On top of that, they claim the Internet is too slow to stream anything which could allow you to use the Smart TV features to watch something different on one television.

Yelp
We stayed at the Bears Den and Little Bear house, through Scenic Wonders in Yosemite. Best experience we have had with a home rental. It was worth every penny we paid to stay there. It was very clean spacious and fully equipped. We were close enough to all the hikes we wanted to to take, so staying inside the park made it easier to get around and experience more of the park vs staying in the entrance line every day. Having the lodging there was ideal! The home had satellite Wifi and it was good enough. We had very bad reception for cell phones but that was noted in the contract.....and well, we were in Yosemite "unplug", "get off your phone", right? We had an issue with the dishwasher, I called Scenic wonders and the team was there in minutes and fixed it. I was beyond impressed. We did come to Yosemite during the worst heat wave so an Air conditioner after a long day of hiking would have been nice......but again, we knew there was no air conditioner in the Bears den prior to arriving. We will be using Scenic Wonders again. I highly recommend them !

Yelp
Having stayed at this location previously (in B205), I highly recommend this property as a stay for any size family for Yosemite vacation. The rates are first and foremost very reasonable (especially compared to other properties in Yosemite West), the location puts you ~20 min drive from Yosemite Valley, and the property was clean, comfortable, and provided a great mini home to relax between days of hiking. However, specifically this review is for the understanding, flexibility, and immediate responsiveness from Holly. Our family intended on staying at one of her properties this weekend, but given the considerable amount of hazardous smoke in Yosemite (Sept 2020), Holly was incredibly accommodating to our needs an was completely understanding. Because of this great customer service, I definitely feel comfortable reaching out again to her in the future and will recommend her to other friends and family looking for Yosemite lodgings!

Yelp
Muir House is generally nice. The stay was compromised by some serious issues of deferred maintenance. One of them is a huge potential liability: 1. There is a small parking pad in front, with a short (6 inch or so) curb along the edge. Below that edge is a sheer 10 foot drop. Someone prior to our arrival broke off part of the curb and part of the pad, near the front end closest to the house. The result is a hole approx. 2 foot diameter. If a car wheel fell into that hole, the car would be seriously damaged and immobilized. A small car could potentially tip over and fall down the ledge. A person stepping into that hole in the dark would be seriously hurt or killed. This kind of defect is completely unacceptable. You should stop renting it until this is repaired. 2. A sliding door onto the porch cannot be locked, as its handle and lock mechanism is missing. This makes the house insecure and easily robbed. 3. The master bedroom toilet has a sticking flush handle. The first time it was flushed, the flapper stayed open for hours as the water ran out. 4. There is a 1" gap beneath the front entrance door. Mice, snakes, etc. can easily enter.

Yelp
We stayed at the Aviary in Yosemite West and there were pros and cons. Each home is different so read reviews and looks at photos. Some of the houses in the area look gorgeous while others look worn out. PROS: the location is excellent; close to Glacier Point, where we spent one day, and 30 min to Yosemite Village. It was great to have five bedrooms between the two units and having two separate units was perfect for us. We enjoyed eating on the larger, lower deck in the evenings. Having ample parking for at least 4 cars is helpful. The kitchen in the lower unit was quite large, upstairs it was smaller and a little cramped, considering that was the larger unit. The place was reasonably clean and linens were in good shape. There were lots of extra beds besides the five main beds in the bedrooms. The Scenic Wonders staff was responsive and helpful when we couldn't figure out how to lock the front door with electronic keypad (push the small button on top and then manually twist the dial to lock the deadbolt) CONS: This place desperately needs some TLC, maintenance and upgrades. The #1 issue was the carpeting, which needs to be replaced, period. There were large stains and it looked so dingy overall that no one was willing to walk barefoot on it. The floors in the kitchen and bathrooms were updated and should have been continued throughout (probably a laminate flooring that looked like wood). Numerous things needed handyman attention such as baseboards that were replaced that were smaller than the original so there's a strip of peeling paint throughout, towel rack and TP holder that had come off and was stored below the bathroom sink rather than being replaced, dishwasher in the upper unit tips forward and screeches when pulled open. The downstairs unit walls were plain white and clean with not a single picture in any room, just bare white walls. There's a flat screen TV but no cabinet underneath so the cord just hangs down partway to the floor with the cable box dangling. About half the chairs outside were in decent shape but the other half were coming apart. There's an odd 3rd kitchen on the top level with a stove and washer/dryer; refrigerator was in another room by the pool table. We could have used another blanket on the beds downstairs as there was just a sheet and the bedspread. The furniture overall is cheap and pretty worn but generally adequate. We never did manage to get wifi with a mix of Apple and Android phones. Those with Verizon had service but not with ATT.

Yelp
The properties are great - the cancellation rules of this management company caused us to lose over $700 for a two night winter rental. On the day we were to visit Yosemite one of our party had a medical emergency and we tried to cancel. I was willing to accept a credit for future date. Their response: sorry - you should have bought cancellation insurance. Obviously run by lawyers. We used them lots of time in the past. No more.

Yelp
If you like sleeping in a sauna you might be happy here, otherwise intolerable, and not even summer yet. Kind of a dingy condo with only a small sliding door for ventilation. Management brought a second fan when called, but indicated not to expect it to cool down until long after the sun set. It is 10 pm and still in the 80's in the condo. Too many mosquitoes to sleep outside. It probably would be more comfortable sleeping in the car with the windows open and mosquito screen.. Find somewhere with windows and air-conditioning to enjoy your stay in Yosemite. This is plain awful.

Yelp
I dont know how it was here, but the people next to my unit was making load noises till 3AM! We are so frustrated and I cant believe this is happening. What the fuck are they thinking? Ain't this place has any noise policy if the sound can penetrate the wall so easily? I will never stay here again.

Yelp
We stayed in the Trout Creek Lodge with Scenic Wonders for four nights in January. The house was about 25 minutes from the entrance to Yosemite and we also made a day trip to Sequoia National Park from the house as well. The house was large and could easily accommodate up to eight to ten adults comfortably. The house has a large outdoor deck and the house backs up to a scenic creek. The cable and internet at the house worked well throughout our stay. The house was outfitted with a large kitchen and all the cooking utensils we needed. The house had an outdoor grill that we used twice. The hosts provided coffee, tea, and other basic items such as salt, pepper, foil, and parchment paper. We loved the bed in the master bedroom and slept very comfortably throughout our stay. We did use the chimney in the living room and it worked very well. We also used the hot tub on the back deck and it worked perfectly. The hosts provided towels, a hair dryer, hand soap, dish towels, paper towels, and laundry detergent. We had a few issues during our stay, but the management team assisted us and ensured we were taken care of. We were sad to leave at the end of our stay. The house is in a private and quiet neighborhood. Grocery Tip: We found good fire wood and other necessities at Grocery Outlet in Oakhurst. The items were reasonably priced.

Yelp
I stayed at the Yosemite Summit vacation rental in May. Here are my thoughts: The place overall is really nice and comfortable. It was a nice and relaxing place to be after a long day of hiking. Lots of bluebirds, deer, and coyotes came around to greet us. There was plenty of room for my husband and I. I think another couple or a few kids more would be the maximum for comfort, though. We brought all of our food for the week and were able to store it and cook it without too much hassle. The shower in the master bedroom had no hot water, so we had to use the other shower. Here are some things I wish I would have known before we got there: - Literally all the towels had mysterious stains on them, which was gross (see my pictures). I'm sure they are "clean" but it's still disgusting. Bring your own if you can. - The unit has satellite tv, but the reception is poor and the channels are VERY limited. It would have been helpful to have a list of available channels instead of having to search the hundreds of channels for the 10 that we actually got. Ask at the front desk to see if a list is available. Also there is a dvd/vcr player. The television is big, but not great quality. - If you like to drink wine out of nice crystal glasses, bring your own. They have a few wine glasses, but they are tiny cheap glass ones. - There was no patio furniture. - Some pantry items are provided (see my pics), but I was glad that I brought a lot of my own. - The fireplace is enough to warm the whole house! It is very effective. For the price of staying here, you won't get a better deal in Yosemite, which is why I had to give it four stars. It beats paying a fortune for a tiny, plain room in the valley; and it beats camping!

Yelp
We had a reservation back in August 2020, paid in full. Unfortunately we weren't able (allowed) to travel from Europe due to the covid pandemic. Any attempt to reach out to Yosemite Scenic wonders (multiple attempts through their web contact form or email) was left unanswered. I'm not even expecting a full refund in these circumstances (although nearly all other hotels on my trip refunded me even if they didn't have to), but I cannot accept the fact that all messages were left unanswered. I'm looking forward to visiting Yosemite on a future post-covid trip, but I will be looking for different accommodations.

Yelp
This is the first time I ever rented a cabinet anywhere... here is my experience.... I was there 9/16 - 9/18/11, party of 3. I rented the place called Yosemite Escape; 3 bed and 3 bath, sleeps up to 8 people. From the outside, it looks like a cute little cabinet, but, it's actually pretty good size inside. The little dinning area, kitchen, "family room," and one bathroom are on the first floor. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are down stairs. One full size bed in each room expect for the room at the end of the hall way (the biggest room), it has two full size and one single bed in there. Overall, the rental was pretty clean and nice; it also has everything the website says it provides. However, when we got there, the place smells, I'm not sure if it was from cooking or the fire place... just bring air freshener. They provide only salt and peppers, so, if you want other seasoning, "fancy" seasoning, or hot sauce... bring your own. BTW, there's only one TV in the "family room" area and no wi-fi... actually you don't even get cell services.

Not at all a vacation...they do NOT tell you that you do not have Internet in the homes. That should be a requirement to mention when someone is booking anything but, they don't. With no Internet offered and limited cell service and the land lines not allowing long distance calls, no markets, restaurants stores nearby, you're trapped. I had a family emergency and had to cancel last minute and they didn't offer any apology, no rescheduling dates, no partial refund. Poor business practices. Very disappointed that they are taking such advantage of those seeking beauty with over-priced and heavily restricted homes. Go somewhere else.

Yelp
Ratings out of 5 . . . Convenience: 5 Size: 5 Luxury/Amenities: 3.5 Location: 4 Not perfect, but we'll be coming back. Upside: We got what was advertised: a home just a 20-minute drive from the park proper, with a good-sized kitchen stocked with necessary utensils; clean beds and bathrooms with steaming hot water; a jacuzzi; a deck; and a lovely view of the forest. We also had plenty of privacy, if you don't count the deer that visited the hillside near the home, and a big driveway for our kids to play in. With the pin for the keypad, it was easy to get in and out of, no matter what time we arrived. And most importantly, all financials, including the deposit, were handled as promised. Downside: The unit had no A/C, and it sure was hot the week we visited. The interior looked a little worn in places, though during breakfasts and dinners, we did enjoy the natural light and high ceilings in the main room, and the large dining table and similarly spacious patio set. Also, bring your own entertainment, and don't let it depend on a cellular or network connection, because that's not happeninng. I've stayed at a few B & Bs, and there are usually a few books and movies lying around. Not so here. Note for parents of little kids: The deck on our unit was not set up for small kids. In fact, I'm surprised the owners haven't closed the gap underneath the bottom railing, because it would be pretty easy to slide through and fall the 15+ feet to the rocks below. As a parent, this was not a thought I wanted to entertain during what was supposed to be my relaxation time. Overall, though, this place delivered on what it promised, and that made for a great week enjoying the wonders of Yosemite Valley, and Glacier Point.

Yelp
We stayed for 2 nights (9/22-24) in the Big Bear rental, Great! I booked on-line with short notice and was well pleased to get a spot so close to the Valley, the Glacier Point Road, etc. I brought family from Texas. They were delighted. The kitchen had all we needed (including coffee). The place was spotless, well maintained and roomy. The Texans seemed disappointed that the gas fireplace was turned off, and there was no VCR player. The manager said they had recently taken over the site and would fix everything. We well enjoyed it and recommend it to others.

Yelp
We stayed at condo A206. We appreciated staying inside the park since the driving distances are vast in the park. It was nice to be sort of centrally located. This was our first trip to Yosemite. The condo was nice and fit our family of 5 comfortably. We appreciated the 2 bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. The two youngest used the sofa bed and they didn't complain so I guess it was comfortable as well. The kitchen was small but serviceable. I appreciated the granite counters as there were no hot pads I could find. Could've used some cookie sheets to make French fries the one night but there were none to be found. Really an update to the cooking utensils is in order. There is no place to go out to eat unless you want to drive and hour plus. So you need a good basic set of things, a lot was missing or in poor condition. The one big issue we had was the temperature. We realize AC for the most part isn't needed in Yosemite but it got quite warm during the day while we were there. Even though we left the windows open the heat inside got high, probably around 75+ downstairs and about 85+ in the loft. There were two floor fans which we used in the loft but that left nothing for downstairs. Even though the downstairs did somewhat cool off in the evenings the loft NEVER did. After hiking for 7+ hours it was hard to get a good nights sleep up there. And if you did any kind of cooking then it was even worse because all the heat rose up. It would be advantageous for the owners to make it possible in some way to open the windows in the loft (they are too high up) and get a large ceiling fan up there to circulate more air. Would even help with the heat in the colder months to be more evenly distributed. Possibly even a second ceiling fan in the downstairs. I would assume it is difficult to get work done to these condos since everything is a distance but this is a business really and the customers comfort needs to outweigh inconvenience.

Yelp
Im am giving scenic wonders 5 stars based upon Customer Service only. Our family was scheduled to arrive in Yosemite in August 6 and due to the fires had to cancel while in the middle of our our vacation. Celia was fabulous and refunded our total cost no questions no arguments. While we didn't experience the rooms we will use them in the future because of their fantastic customer service.

Yelp
Worse experience ever! Never again and wouldn't recommend it but if you wanna take the risk go ahead and please make sure you take pictures of everything before you get surprised after your stay with an email saying they found damages! They ask for a deposit that they will do everything possible to keep. We recently stayed with my family, planning on making this a family tradition but this people are a rip-off? I would give negative starts if available. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER.

Yelp
Me and my family and friends stay on this rental vacation in Yosemite area to have a bonding time and quality time with family and friends for 2 nights, don't get me wrong the place are so beautiful the view and everything inside the site its overwhelming. But the only thing that we disappoint in this site is the TV connection and internet connection. We actually didn't have a good time there no tv cable and no internet connection its kind the boring not to do there just to hang out to your family.

Yelp
First timing staying at this location and let say, "wow"! Well maintained inside and out. Family of 4 stayed in the Voyager off rd. 632 for 3 nights. Kitchen is pretty well equipped with cooking utensils like pots with lids, saute pans, frying pans, bakeware, Pirex glass containers, silverware, coffee maker, blender, mixer, slow cooker/pressure cooker, some other useful items like a can opener, cutting knives, a few spices, paper towels. Well, way too much to list. Beds were comfortable. Nice wrap around redwood deck with a propane full sized gas grill and an extra tank of fuel. Every one of us loved the wildlife right here! $ very reasonable. We would definitely come back to the Voyager.

Yelp
I am not one of the people who make reviews but in this ovation I am going to bring the tempo to the people of this cabin and I want to tell those who are interested in doing so. 1- good price 2- the cabin is close to two beautiful waterfalls. 3- there are cabins around so you don't feel alone although not all of them are rented. 4- We will talk about the comforts the beds and pillows are extra comfortable you do not want to wake up, the kitchen has everything, do not bring any utensils only food. and when I say equipped I mean that it is complete. Washer and dryer with soap. Three good sized rooms definitely have movies and DVDs, every dollar you pay is not wasted. If you have a question, I will be happy to answer it. and the patio woowww with light table and grill the balcony with chairs all excellent without complaints and very clean

Yelp
We just came home from our 7th stay in the Loft Condos. As always, the accommodations were what we expected. Hardly luxurious, but fully meet our needs. Our unit, A204, was starting to look a little tired, but I was told that it was among the last group being renovated. Hopefully they will add some more comfortable seating in the living room. I have learned over the years to bring certain things with me: our own towels (the towels provided by the management are tiny and incredibly poor quality), our own dishtowels, and I usually remember to bring my own sharp kitchen knives (forgot this year!). I have also found it helpful to bring zip loc bags, foil and kitchen wrap. The one thing that I wish is that they would provide us with some basic kitchen cleaner. We end up leaving the kitchen far less clean than I would like. If you are looking for a place to stay in Yosemite that rivals the Awahnee, this isn't it. But for basic family accommodations in a great location (right in between the valley and Glacier Point) with great scenery and wildlife (a young bear visited several times), this is a great option.

Yelp
This was a very good location for visiting Yosemite Valley. It was about a 20-minute drive to the Tunnel. It is also inside the park, so you don't have to mess with the line at the entrance every day. It is at a higher altitude than the valley and when we were there in mid-May it snowed 3 days at the condo. The two condo buildings are not owned by Scenic Wonders and they need some work. Upon first entering the building it had a rundown appearance and odor. The carpet in the hallways was stained and worn. We were concerned about what we would find in the unit we rented. The parking area for Building A provided enough parking spaces and appeared to be easier to get in and out of than the parking at Building B. The laundry facilities are in Building B and owned by the building operators not Scenic Wonders. There were two washers and dryers and they seem to be in use most of the time. They worked okay but bring your own quarters since their change machine does not seem to be kept stocked. The washers and dryers are $1.50 each for normal cycles. We brought our own soap, but there is a machine offering soap, I am not sure if it was kept stocked. To our relief, our condo unit A206 was in much better shape that the entry hallways of the building. The main floor and bathrooms had a wood looking tile and the stairs and loft had carpet that was in good condition. The counter tops appeared to be granite and the fixtures appeared to be newer. The beds were in good shape. There were small full bathrooms on both levels, the shower heads seemed to be of a water saving type that were adequate but did not provide lots of pressure. This unit being on the end had two windows which overlooked the parking areas but had a view of the forest. Since the unit was on the 2nd floor there were steps to get to the 2nd floor (18 steps) also 3 steps to get up to the unit entry door and 12 steps to get up to the loft. There is an outdoor balcony overlooking the parking lot. The unit has one TV with satellite, which some of time did not have a signal. I believe that was due to the snow. Also, there is no Wi-Fi in the unit. To get Wi-Fi you must go to Building B on the 2nd floor and stand in the hallway. The signal there was strong, but the speed was slow, although good enough to get email and check weather. In the same location is a room that they will give you access to for borrowing movies. There is a phone in the unit that provides free local calls which allows you to call the Scenic Wonders office if you need anything. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a stand for a suitcase in the upstairs closet, but it would be nice if there would be a second suitcase stand or a chest of drawers to place clothing. The unit works well for two people but for more--it would be tight for storage space. The unit appeared to be basically clean but needed some deeper cleaning. For example, the handrails were dirty, the counter next the fridge needed to be wiped down better and it seemed like the carpet might have needed to be cleaned since when not wearing shoes, white socks became dirty. The furniture was in good condition, but based on the pictures, description and the price we expected things to be a little nicer. The wall between the unit next door was not well insulated for sound so you could hear noises next door. They do have quiet hours and we had no trouble with noise when we tried to sleep. The window and patio door had light darkening blinds which was nice, but it would be helpful if the windows in the loft had some way to block light. Overall, we had a comfortable and restful stay and appreciated the easy access to Yosemite Valley.

Yelp
Stayed here for a full weekend, rented out Pinetree Retreat with a group of 7 friends. Great location in Yosemite West. If you need reservations at the last minute, this is the place to book. I've also booked through Yosemite Four Seasons' private cabins, and I think they are slightly better with more service and amenities. Cozy and clean. Main complaints are: Mattress was not comfortable and too soft Check in and check out experience is strange. No direct service. This is my conversation: (Intercom on the wall outside of a random house where it says "check in") Me: I would like to check out of the Pinetree Retreat Intercom: Press the button while talking, I can't here you Me: (pressing button) "BEEP" I would like to check out of the Pinetree Retreat. Do I need to do anyting else to check out or get a receipt? Intercom: "BEEP" You need to let go of the button so I can answer your question Me: (pressing button) "BEEP" Ok. I've left the keys in the box for Pinetree. Do I need to do anything else? (Unpressing button) "BEEP" Is this really a good experience to check in and check out someone?

Yelp
Scenic Wonders certainly is service oriented and strive for satisfied guests. It is obvious that they are looking for people who will want to return many times over. They are a 5 star service provider and do certainly want to make sure your stay is everything you expected it to be. They have a wide range of available homes to chose from and many options when it comes to stay durations, size of the group and requests. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a wonderful stay in a the Yosemite area.

Yelp
Six of us just stayed at Yosemite Pines. There were two kids and four adults and this worked out perfectly for us. The fireplace was great to have and we were able to roast some marshmallows for the kids. I've stayed with Yosemite Scenic Wonders about 4 times now and have been impressed with Celia's quick emails and responses. Truly appreciate her great service. The house was clean and was well stocked. With six people taking showers, you may need to wait just a bit for some more hot water. Also, this house is great for those who have a hard time walking up stairs. The beds were comfy too. Look forward to another future stay with this company.

Yelp
NO AIR CONDITIONER!!!! We booked 3 nights at Scenic Wonders on Henessy Circle and left after the 2nd night. We are from Louisiana and do no rest well when the weather is hot.For safety,we did not feel comfortable sleeping with the first floor sliding glass door open and the windows in the bedroom in the loft level were up against the 12 foot ceiling so those were of no use for ventilation. All essentials were provided and the condo was clean but "dated". Musty smell, could use an overhaul! Thank goodness we brought with us food to cook because the location is somewhat remote so no stores or restaurants nearby. We have 2 young children , entertainment was limited in this area also. We did take advantage of the DVD's that were provided in the "movie room". This location might have worked for us as a couple with no kids but we will definately not return again as a family.

Yelp
Horrible horrible customer service. We booked for 3 days through hotels.com (cost around 900$) and they refused to cancel the reservation when the air quality was bad in the bay area due to the wildfires. They kept saying that the air quality in Yosemite was good. What's the point? You gotta travel from somewhere to reach Yosemite. (If it is summer in Hawaii , it does not mean you can get on a flight when the flight cancelled due to snow in NY). We were ready to pay the cancellation fee which was 30% initially (Around 260$) but they changed and told us it will be 900$. It was like stay or go away and give me the money. Very rude and adamant staff mostly there to make the money. Our reservation was 'Pay at the hotel' but they charged our credit card before the reservation and refused to cancel. We even tried to change our reservation to anytime next year and they said they won't do it. A year is a lot to be flexible. I even called them and the agent- Sarah was extremely rude and hung up on me. She even offered to drive us up to there (sarcasm) but won't change or cancel our reservation. They took our 900$. Hotels.com tried their best to help us out but they were very rigid and rude.

Yelp
The Scenic Wonders crew is service oriented and make sure you are completely satisfied. We had a mishap with our reservation and all I had to do was convey to them how I felt. They are a 5 star service provider and will make sure your stay is everything you expected it to be. We stayed at Quail Crossing. Newly built or remodeled with a modern, open layout. Single floor and easy access. Comfortable queen size beds in three bedrooms with private bath. An extra bed in the laundry room w/ private bath. Pull out sofa bed in living room. No need to bring anything from home, this place is equipped. Well done guys, looking forward to seeing you soon!

Yelp
Stayed 2 nights at the small loft condos as the last part of our honeymoon road trip. We stayed in condo A211. While the accommodations offer no frills at all, they did offer pretty much everything we needed- including satellite tv to watch the Dodgers beat the Cubs. The bbq in this unit operates at a higher heat than the knob shows and the oven operates at a lower heat than the knob shows. Fireplace worked quite well, location was great. Coffee was provided, and very appreciated as all we had with us was instant. Couch is probably ready to be replaced, but the king size bed in the loft was comfortable.

Violet G.

Yelp
We stayed in the condo units, unit B210. There was satellite TV and WiFi available in the loft. They had good COVID protocols with signage posted about wearing masks, a hand sanitizer station available at the entrance, and a foot plate for opening the door. We are rural folks and accustomed to mountain lodging/accommodations, but found the condo and furniture very dated and dirty. The loft felt a bit cramped and awkwardly setup. Bed was ok, lots of pillows available. Cleanliness was substandard with visible mouse droppings behind the couch. Several chairs had been broken and shoddily repaired, not safe. Many loose electrical outlets, extremely unsafe. Broken deck board, very unsafe. Dirty blankets on pullout couch. The power went out in the area on the first night and we did not complete the stay. Considering the general lack of attention to safety, I would not choose to stay here again. Disappointed I paid a lot.

Yelp
We stayed at a vacation home in scenic wonder about 4 years ago. We really enjoyed our stay there. However, after we checked out from the place, we received a phone call from the property manager and she demanded that we pay around $300 for cleaning sofa and hot tub. Before we left the place, we ensured that the vacation home was in original condition. I had no idea why they asking for additional money, After I refused to pay, she put me on a blacklist and told that I will not never be able to rent the vacation home from scenic wonder again.

Yelp
We stayed in a Scenic Wonder Cabin: Anglers Rest. I've stayed in many AirBNB's, Hotels, Condo's and "other" Resort properties. I would have stayed here longer, if I could've known how nice the cabin was and how wonderful Scenic Wonders was to work with. I called them, and they answered immediately when we were lost. (The mailbox address' were all mixed up.) We called again because the pilot light had gone out on the fireplace and the DVD wasn't working. AGAIN, they answered immediately and sent someone over to light the fireplace and replace all the batteries in the remote's. The cabin was beautiful. The master bedroom had it's own bathroom with a jet bathtub. The 2nd bedroom had 2 double beds in bunk bed set up, and was very comfortable, too. The living & dining area was conducive to have 6 people over for dinner and a movie. I will try and stay here the next time we go to Yosemite.

Yelp
Stayed the weekend in this place, and it's great! Beautiful setup, beautiful view! The rooms are nice and comfy, and the hot tub is awesome (can fit 10 people!) The kitchen and living areas were big and spacious with a huge fire place and a loft! Close to Yosemite Valley and Badger Pass.

Norm K.

Yelp
We were highly disappointed in our stay. The place was not very clean and there were all types of problems with the unit we stayed in, during our 2 night stay. Fir the price we paid, we expected much better. I guess they take advantage of people wanting to stay in the park. There were no extra towels, no coffee pot, but there was a coffee machine, no hair dryer, iron limited grill use items (plastic spatula) etc. Also, the fridge was not very cold and the freezer kept opening up. You could not keep the screen door open to the back porch because the screen was ripped all the way through at the bottom and no keeping out the bugs. The icing on the cake is that everyone has to go to a separate building to sit in a group to use the internet. For 298.49 a night, couldn't you have the place, clean and stocked properly for your guests not to mention the internet. We definitely stayed at nicer places with all the comforts of home during our 11 day trip. Poor performance on your part and I would not recommend anyone stay at your rentals.

Yelp
BUYER BEWARE! I unfortunately needed to cancel a family vacation at Yosemite that I had been looking forward to for a year. I tried to cancel my reservation 9 days before arrival. Per the policy, prior to 7 days you have to forfeit 25% of your total cost (all paid up front). I understood that I was going to lose $222 but expected to receive $666 back per the policy. Scenic Wonders refused to refund the 75% on a technicality. In May of 2014 I booked my weekend in May 2015. A few days after booking I called back and asked to move the reservation out to the following weekend. This "reservation change " negated their obligation to refund my 75% now. Highway robbery and a poor way to do business.

Yelp
We stayed in Sports Chalet...gas fireplace did not work and the bottom bedroom and bathroom smelled like a musty sewer. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Stayed here at the Explorer's Retreat Cabin with my boyfriend and one other couple for the weekend of Sept 7. For about $300/night, the Explorer's Retreat Cabin is surprisingly big. It has three bedrooms, one with bunk beds and one with a sizable flat screen TV. There are also large TVs in the downstairs living room, and the upstairs living room, all with DVD players. There were ipod speaker docks in ever bedroom and a fake gas fireplace in each living room. The upstairs balcony overlooks the cul-de-sac and a small strip of forest and is semi-visible from the neighboring cabin. On the balcony was a huge and possibly brand-new grill and an sturdy outside table/umbrella type thing that could seat 6. In each of the living rooms were big, comfortable faux-leather couches that could easily and comfortably sleep 2 people each. While this cabin is advertised at accommodating up to 8 people, if you really wanted to cram in, you could fit 12- 2 couples in each of the two queen sized beds, 2 in the bunk beds, and 2 on either side of the couches. And that's not counting an ample amount of floorspace for sleeping bags. There was also a sort of weird circular pool table, complete with balls and ques, which could also double for a poker table. on the table were three packs of playing cards- a nice touch. The Kitchen was my favorite part. It sported all new aluminium appliances- including a huge two-door refrigerator, toaster, microwave, blender, electric mixer, a huge stove with a gorgeous 5-burner grill, a coffee maker, dishwasher, and a two-basin sink with removable restaurant-style faucet hose. The drawers were full of clean and new cooking implements such as a full silverware set, tongs, whisks, a meat tenderizer, a potatoe masher, measuring cups, a full barbeque set, a microplane , icing wands, a full pot and pan set, ,multiple mixing bowls, condiment dishes, casserole dishes, mugs, tumblers and stemless wine glasses.Provided is coffee, hot cocoa mix, packets of sugar, tea and creamer, sea salt, pepper, spike seasoning, coffee filters and a tub of Folgers coffee Downstairs, I happily took advantage of the new washing machine and dryer. detergent was provided and both the washer and dryer were easy to operate and worked wonderfully and efficiently. Both bathrooms were moderately large, with tubs, fresh towels, packets of soap, and a electric hair dryer. The cabin was clean and carefully-outfitted, the weather was beautiful, and the vacation altogether magical. I would not hesitate to rent from Scenic Wonders again.
