Scent Bar Hollywood is a perfume lover’s dream—a beautifully curated haven of niche fragrances that invites you to explore and fall in love with scent all over again. I had the pleasure of being assisted by David, whose exceptional service truly elevated my experience. He was kind, patient, and incredibly intuitive, helping me navigate through the collection until I found the one: Villa of Erbatium’s Mossy Glen. It’s absolute perfection—like stepping into a florist’s fridge, cool and green, where petals and stems meet earth and dew. David made the journey to that discovery feel effortless and personal. I left with a scent I adore and an experience I won’t forget. Thank you, David!

As a Spanish niche fragrance lover, I had to pay a visit to Scent Bar, and the Hollywood store was definitely worth it! They had a huge selection of bottles, arranged by scent profile, and the lovely ladies in store would let me roam freely, and help out whenever I needed them to. The staff is really knowledgeable too! Overall, one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had in a while. I left with a new fragrance from a house I didn’t know, a discovery set I was hoping to find, and a bunch of samples.

I walked in ready to spend money here. My family and I are visiting from out of town and I have always wanted to experience the scent bar. Unfortunately, when we walked in a brief hello was said to us by the man behind the counter and then he continued talking to his friends. It wasn’t a professional conversation but a personal one. I browsed for a while as I was ignored. By the time I was ready to go a gentleman came out from the back asking if I needed help but I wasn’t feeling very welcome at this point so we left.

Go when it's slow. Obviously, the reviews for this business would drop if staff had to control foot traffic, but the shop on a Saturday just before 5PM had 8 sets of shoppers and half of the shoppers were spraying scents from displays... the air tasted of everything sprayed since the day started. An assault stopped only by exiting. From my one minute circuit, the store has many brands not found widely distributed. Scents are organized into families. Staff looked engaged with the barside shoppers.

Wow, one of the most complete perfume shops I’ve been in. I love how they group perfumes by category (gourmand, floral, skin scent, etc.). Such a huge array of options. I could stay here for a full day!

Google
Really fun place! Tons of unique fragrances I’ve always wanted to smell. The employees left me alone to smell everything. Definitely a super fun experience if you visit Los Angeles and love fragrances. Beware : there is a 45 minute time limit! But no one rushes you out haha

If you’re even remotely interested in fragrance, this is the place to be. Coming from out of state, walking in to Scent Bar was like walking into a perfume paradise. I love how each of the scents were arranged by theme (E.g. fruity, fresh, musky, beach, etc.), which made the browsing experience extremely enjoyable. Very knowledge staff who encourage exploring the different scents to find the perfect one for you. All in all, certainly a 5/5 experience. It’s a must-stop for anyone in LA looking to explore the scent art form.

Yelp
I attended a launch party last night at this beautiful, exciting perfume shop. It was a magical evening and now I realize how important it will be for me to come back to Scent Bar on a quiet afternoon and take in the extensive inventory, which is organized by type of overall accord (the blending of individual notes to form a category of scent, such as, fruity, floral, food-like or gourmand, spicy, smoky, leathery, green, etc., etc.). Having become a passionate fan of the perfume industry (from childhood, actually, as my father was a perfumer and designer aerosols pioneer), I have been plugged in to the influencers who guide us through what is now a deep and labyrinthine maze of new and old fragrances from every type of perfume house, genre, and generation. The expertise at Scent Bar helps customers navigate this complex world so we can make wise choices and smell heavenly. The impetus for the party was the launch of a brand new offering from the elegant Italian house, Jus Box. One of its owners, Chiara Valdo, was there along with a YouTube star, Sebastian Jara, better known as The Perfume Guy. Sebastian is simply THE expert on perfumes with decades of experience, hundreds of educational and inspirational videos online, and thousands of perfumes in his personal collection at his San Francisco studio. If you have any interest in fragrances (which are now for both men and women, almost universally), join his channel and prepare to be immersed in a dazzling world that transports you away from any of the mundane issues we are grappling with at any given moment. Sebastian was the genius behind the newest Jus Box Eau de Parfum, named Fifty Four, for the famous Studio 54 in New York City. He collaborated with Chiara and her brother Andrea from Jus Box, and the highly respected Julien Rasquinet, the perfumer for this new scent. Fifty Four has already become a hit -- it's simply beautiful, delicious, and all-seasonal -- and on its way to being a classic. Lucky Scent and its retail stores, Scent Bar (two in Los Angeles; one in New York) were given the honor of sending off this amazing new gem and they did it right. The party set the vibe with complimentary champagne, elegant pastries, and a full-on disco atmosphere complete with glittering disco balls and strobing lights. It was pure magic. Anyone who has only bought perfume at department stores, and who is still thinking that designer and OG brands are all there is to it, simply must come to Scent Bar (my favorite is in Hollywood) and sample the hundreds of niche houses that make exquisite "juices" to thrill every single individual taste, from all over the world. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Met up with a perfumer to try out his line and ended up having a great time trying all the niche fragrances, meeting a couple of the staff and having genuine conversations with other fellow frag heads. This is located in a chill part of Beverly Blvd. Street parking is available. Upon walking in, you are immediately hit with a wall of fragrances. Oddly enough, i managed to adjust to it in a few minutes and smelling scents was not compromised. This is small but mighty store. All the scents that I have read about are available for me to try with a very knowledgeable staff with great enthusiasm for fragrances.

Yelp
There is no better place on earth to find your new favorite scents and to discover the world of premium perfumery. Staffed by perfume geniuses who are charming, astonishingly knowledgeable and eager to share their expertise, you can stroll into Scent Bar a novice and leave a highly informed aficionado. For those who want to go it alone, their incredible selection is made approachable as it is organized by genre. How good is that?

Yelp
This is my new go to spot for scents. My daughter brought me here and I am an unexpected new fan. Both of us were able to describe the scent profile we were looking for and the staff was amazing at finding not one but several perfect matches for both of us. My only frustration was trying to narrow down what I wanted to buy, because I loved all of their recommendations. Great selection, great staff, and reasonable prices.

Jenny C.

Yelp
A mix niche and luxury fragrances in a very small, casual and laid back store. The staffs were always friendly and it's a good destination to try out hard to find fragrances before making a blind purchase.

Yelp
Excellent service this evening, will definitely be back next time in LA. I purchased a wonderful fruity fragrance I'd never heard of, this is the place for those exclusive scents

Tamara A.

Yelp
What a great experience I had here! It was full of the niche products I was looking for, but the people who were there, were so knowledgeable that they helped me narrow it down to the one that was perfect. It's hard not to overbuy scents, but I will have no problem going back to pick up more discover something new, with the experts behind the counter.

Yelp
Gorgeous boutique set up like a Parisian "Parfumerie". Hundreds of scents-- many of them new from smaller fragrance houses. Kind of like having a "sommelier" for fragrances. All of the testers are on shelves, no behind counters. They let you test to your hearts' content. No pressure to buy. If you need direction, they'll step in. Otherwise, you can find your own way around these extraordinary fragrances...

Yelp
Every time I come here, they are so helpful and approachable and exciting. I have the best time and enjoy all of the finds that I get from y'all! Both locations are great, but the Hollywood location is my favorite.

Yelp
5 stars and a huge shoutout to Johnny for helping me find the perfect perfume as a gift for my friend. He really took the time to introduce me to different scents until I found the one a few visits later. He never rushed me , unlike some of the other employees who just looked at me like I'm tooling through their personal collection or their panty drawers. Got a sus vibe from a few of them... sorry but not sorry when I'm spending hundreds of dollars on a luxury item. Anyway, ask for Johnny and enjoy the bounty of their well curated collection of scents.

Yelp
Simply the best perfume store in Los Angeles and has been since the day it opened. One of the best perfume store websites as well, Luckyscent. Check out their cute short video reviews on YouTube - manager Steve Gontarski is an absolute legend https://www.youtube.com/@luckyscent

Yelp
Came into the shop looking to try Sumo Wrestler by J-Scent after reading some great reviews online. Johnny was the first to welcome me in. For context, I was the only one in the shop during my entire stay. He's got this we've been friends since childhood essence. Super personable, conversational, and has this Nick Swardson vibe. Somebody get this man a beer or I'll do it. Oh and the Potato Chips Deli was bomb, great call. Initially I wasn't too big on Sumo Wrestler upon first spray, but Johnny didn't hesitate to introduce me to a handful of different fragrances that he thought I'd like and most of his suggestions were on point. He introduced me to one that I was a fan of off the bat, and mentioned that they also do a travel size for $45 after I expressed my interest. I didn't hesitate to add it to my cart, but he insisted I sprayed it onto my skin beforehand. Yes, I loved it regardless and he could've just sold it to me without me ever spraying it on my skin, but the fact he kindly insisted on skin testing it first is an example of A class service. It put a smile on my face knowing that there are still diamonds in the rough working in the retail industry. I was able to take home a few samples on top of everything. From grass smelling fragrances, to another fragrance I discovered thanks to Dana's story about a time she had smelled it in an elevator. To Johnny and Dana, thank you for being so authentic and candid. It's refreshing to be able to discuss different topics like what's the todays Santal 33 and hear your perspectives and learn from your wisdom.

Yelp
I've been to this location twice now, and the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Shout out to Ronnie (I hope I didn't mishear the name, as it was a little loud that night) for taking extra time to walk me through the differences in some of the base notes so I could make a more informed selection. Two tips: go in with an open mind, or look over the Luckyscent website to come up with a few things you want to try. The in-store selection is big but obviously it's more limited than the warehouse. And be patient. It's clear the staff really enjoys having one-on-one time with the customers. Enjoy browsing, and know you'll get the same attentive service once you're up.

Yelp
Stopped by for some new scents, arrived at 11:30, left at 12:10 with 2 incredible selections. The service i received from Tiffany was everything i had hoped for prior to entering; she was so knowledgeable and knew my palette better than i could describe. Absolute top notch service. Promote this woman immediately -- she knows how to provide great service. At one point i told her that i trusted her nose over my own. The best little shop, would be Michelin rated (as in -- worth detouring to stop by) if there were such a thing for perfume stores. Highly recommend stopping by, i am elated w/ my selections and the service i received. Thank you so much!

Michael S.

Yelp
Many niche fragrances are had to find. You'll find it here. You're allowed only one sample, but you can try whatever they have.

Yelp
Amazing selection of niche brands and very helpful staff, thank you Ronnie for the help yesterday really enjoyed my experience!

Yelp
This was the most disappointing retail experience I ever had. Context: I buy most of my scents from luckyscent and loved my experience at their NYC location (shoutout to Ezra who was literally the best). However DTLA was a different story. Experience: There were 3 people - Dana, Steve, and one other person (brunette). My partner and I were acknowledged by noone in the store, and considering how small it is, you really have to actively to ignore someone to do so. This was a totally different experience from the couple who came in before us and were not people of color. When we decided to leave, there was also no acknowledgement (eg "bye" / "thanks for dropping in"). It was just active ignorance of our presence the entire time in a small space that had no other customers at the time. I asked Dana for help getting some perfumes behind her, but felt like it was a burden for her in the way she acted. I noticed for the couple before me, she went through the smells and backstory behind the perfume. However for my partner and I, she just handed it to me and then went back to talking to the other two employees in the store. I did not feel like this was an inclusive space, which was totally different from my NYC experience, but also I feel against the mission of what luckyscent / scent bar is supposed to be (as per their website "Scent Bar was created to be a comfortable and relaxing place to experience our incredible selection of independent niche perfumes"). I was so disappointed especially because I was really looking forward to seeing Dana and Steve in person (I'm sure everyone watches the IG livestreams and YT videos). I ended up leaving earlier than expected and not buying a perfume for my friend's wedding because my partner and I felt so uncomfortable. As feedback for the team, I don't think you need to have the most in-depth conversations w/ clients who come in, but I do believe it is important to at least acknowledge their presence, especially when they are coming in to buy something more highly priced. I hope it gets better / addressed because luckyscent, for me, has always been a place of safe and comfortable discovery of fragrances. I am really disappointed that wasn't the experience my partner and I had when we came here, and hope others don't experience that as well.

Yelp
My absolute favorite place to try and buy niche fragrances. Love all the reps, but Johnny is my favorite! I always get tons of compliments based off his recommendations! Can't say enough about this place. Just go and prepare to be in scent heaven!

Rana S.

Yelp
Local, longtime customer review here. The selection at Scent Bar's Hollywood outpost is good (I'm not going to say great because they rarely have an entire line in stock and often don't have a tester of things they do have in stock, which rather defeats the purpose of such a store) but I find the help here to be a consistent miss. Either the staff leaves the customers too unattended in favor of their own conversations or they are downright condescending/rude (Ezra and most of the other male staff). I can't tell you how many times I've walked in here wanting to spend only to go buy niche fragrance elsewhere (I am telling you the money is literally walking in and out the door) and at this point, you can get almost every fragrance in this place somewhere else in LA. I won't be back.

Shyla L.

Yelp
Shoutout to the 2 very nice men that helped me out with my broken atomizer on my Celeste bottle! One man was named Johnny and I don't remember the other man's name but he I believe he had some arm tats and dark longish hair! The store was very clean and organized as well, will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
I've been to the Hollywood location a handful of times and loved it. Every visit had exceptional customer service and I always left with a new scent. However, this last visit of mine (in mid-January), will be the last time I buy from Scent Bar and website, Lucky Scent. It was such a foul experience. Disclaimer: I came to this location to specifically buy a scent they had in stock. It was going to be a quick in & out trip since I had 20 minutes to walk over to the New Beverly to see a film. * First of all, walking into the store - i was not greeted nor acknowledged - there were 4 customers (me included) and 3/4 employees (one lady and the rest were men) - right away i could sense the energy in the store was off. I should've left right then and there. * One male employee was helping a customer but the other two males were just standing there talking to one another and when I made eye contact with them - dead eyes. Nothing. They already judged me like it was fucking middle school. They gave the dead eyes then turned around and continued talking to one another. * The worst of them all was the female coworker (or bitch to put it accurately). There were two female customers who i could tell knew the female coworker on a personal basis and when one of them asked her how her work day was (mind you, i was practically standing next to all of them) , the female coworker proceeded to talk shit about all the customers that day. IF YOU'RE GOING TO TALK SHIT ABOUT CUSTOMERS, MAYBE A CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB ISNT FOR YOU. IF YOU'RE GOING TO TALK SHIT ABOUT CUSTOMERS, MAYBE PERHAPS DO IT WHEN THERE ARE NO CUSTOMERS IN THE STORE!?!? She complained about customers who are "basic" & "don't know anything about fragrance" while huffing and puffing about customers who are in the store for too long, ask stupid questions and dont buy anything, etc. Meanwhile, the two female customers were in agreement with her - "ugh thats so annoying." Believe me, it sounded much worse than what I'm writing. After her word vomit, I left and bought the scent I wanted directly through the fragrance company's website. Helpful advice to the owner/manager of Scent Bar & Lucky Scent: tell your smug employees that if they're gonna talk shit on customers - to at least do it when there are no customers in the store. So fucking foul.

Yelp
I Love this place. I rarely go in because well, I want everything. If you're new to the world of scents it can be a bit intimidating, specially niche, if you are new, I recommend familiarizing yourself with yourself, with what you like and what energy you're trying to fill you space. Sometimes staff may of had a bad day, so just remember that you can be the sunshine of their day. Sometimes insecurity can come off as mean They have videos on their website and the same guy in the video is the guy at the store. :) Perfume people can be Particular. Parking can be a bit difficult but that's okay, If you call On your parking Angel you you'll find a spot right in the front. I don't have the fanciest of cars so I'm sure they trip when I like expensive water. :) The store is intimate and stocked, Love this place

Rick R.

Yelp
This is for my wife. She loves this place. She visited again while I waited out. The place was buzzing. So happy it is getting noticed. She brought her favorite French perfume and the salesperson gave her a few samples which were perfectly matched to her taste. He knows his job well. Must visit if you are at the grove. Better than any chain perfumeries.
google avatar

Anne L.

Yelp
I had a glorious visit to this Perfumery on Beverly Blvd. The help was delightful. Tiffani helped me choose beautiful fruity scents. I am very particular about my perfumes and I am picky picky. She took time with me and then engaged her coworker (male) to help me choose my special fragrance. It's a lovely shop to pick out a thoughtful holiday gift scent or gift card for that special someone, male, female, or otherwise. The shop itself is an experience in pleasure and a fun adventure to gift. Thank you Tiffani and Scent Bar.

Yelp
Please come here for your scent needs. They basically have it ALL and the people working here are soooo informative. The workers are extremely helpful and truly know their stuff. If they don't carry what you're looking for they can definitely recommend an alternative. They can also recommend scents if you don't really know what you want. You can spend hours here lost in scents. Perfect for the cologne connoisseur. It's really hard to come here and NOT leave with something. I don't have a huge collection but I do enjoy various scents and expanding my collection. The workers make the experience pleasant because you don't feel rushed OR pressured. They are so knowledgeable and helpful. Truly an amazing experience.

Yelp
Awesome store with even more amazing, helpful employees! They were very helpful and welcoming to sampling a whole bunch of fragrances. I described my tastes and they were quick to recommend something. Definitely coming back here if I ever need more. Thanks!

Yelp
The best selection I've ever seen, the staff is very informative and I have seen the same faces for years which is telling. They don't get upset if you spend time sampling the scents. Just a beautiful place.

Yelp
By far one of the WORST experiences my girlfriend and I have ever had and we will NOT be returning here ever again. I'm not sure who the red headed female is working here (I'm assuming she's a manager based on her sense of entitlement and rude-ass behavior) but she needs serious mental help. We drove nearly an hour to come to this shop. We are frequent customers and last time I dropped $700 on "Silence the Sea", V2, and some other scents. As soon as we entered, this red-headed female began to quarrel and berate us. She called me a liar when making small talk about the long drive from the Valley to the PCH, she called my girlfriend a liar when she explained riding on subways makes her carsick, and she argued with her on how some vanilla scents can be too sweet. I don't know how the f this individual was hired to represent this business as she has zero customer service skills and actually little to no human interaction skills. Congratulations Scentbar! Hiring this person has cost you 2 customers. Keep up the great work. I hear a new scent shop is opening in Hollywood soon. I can't wait to help support them in crushing this place. *UPDATE* I found out this employee's name is Tiffany and she's NOT a manager or supervisor.

Yelp
This place was awesome. I love my fragrances and this place doesn't have a shortage of them. I hate going to department stores and getting groped from all the thirsty ass employees trying to sell you shit. I like wandering on my own and smelling what I want to; this place definitely gives you that freedom. The 2 dudes that helped me were very nice and insightful. Didn't push to have you buy something. It's hard to find a place that has a lot of niche fragrances so was nice to visit here to smell some expensive bottles before purchasing because I'm not balling like that to just blind buy my fragrances. This place is also cool because they give you a few samples. Only negative is it's not the spray kind and just a dabber. Also kind of a small sample, but still a sample I suppose ‍ I would come back and definitely recommend it to anyone into fragrances, also those who are curious about more unique smelling frags

Yelp
Came to this place all the way from Santa Monica yesterday hoping to find a perfect perfume for myself and buy a birthday gift for my mom. However I was completely disappointed with an attitude and absolutely unwelcoming behavior of one of the two staff members at the store who made me feel very uncomfortable. At some point, after showing me several fragrances she approached her fellow junior employee and started whispering about me in my presence "I don't think she's planning to buy anything"... and then added in a louder voice "BUT THERE ARE ALWAYS SURPRISES Y'KNOW". First off, I explained to them at the very beginning of our interaction that I was sensitive to scents but really hoped they would help me find something that I would love. I even provided them with the information on the fragrances that usually work great for me. And no, I never stated I was planning to buy a perfume without trying it. That scene really gave me a bad taste so I politely thanked them for showing me the perfumes and a sample they gave me, and then hurried to leave the store. I've never seen such an unprofessional, impolite and condescending customer service except for the movies (this is where Pretty Woman meets Mean Girls). I went to Bloomingdales right after and bought fantastic Tom Ford perfumes both for myself and my mom. Suffice to say, their customer service was top notch, on a par with a billion dollar company which they are. Not planning to come back to this place, but they really do have a good selection of niche perfumeries. Hence two stars.

Natalie M.

Yelp
Very friendly staff, not pushy at all. They are the type of salespeople who truly guide you to what you really need and I appreciate this. So many unique scents, and I am so glad that I could try amazing perfumes that I cannot smell anywhere else. A unique experience, where you can find your own best niche scent. It is a small place but holds so much treasure!

Yelp
Loved this place! I've been wanting to come here for a while because I'm into collecting perfume. I definitely prefer this location compared to their downtown one. I felt like it was organized great by mood & scent profile. Their staff was great super helpful & I didn't feel like a burden asking them for help reaching bottles or asking recommendations based on what I liked they gave me a lot of new perfumes I liked. I spent over an hour in there! I ended up purchasing Lira by Xerjoff but had to pick it up at the DTLA location because they didn't have the 100ml bottle in stock but they got that all arranged for me easily. They also packaged me some samples to try out first. Would definitely recommend this place! They have so many unique perfumes u can't get at ur local department stores or malls. Great place for niche and indie perfumes!

Yelp
What an amazing perfume shop. First time here... excellent service! Byredo Mojave Ghost was the scent I chose and let me tell you .... it is incredible. I received a few extra samples to try of other beautiful options. I will for sure come here again or order online. ** no parking so take Uber or lyft*** Otherwise street parking is the only option.

Yelp
Fragrance journey: started online for me. Bought a few via Amazon but quickly realized there's no guarantee of authenticity, indeed 2 of my blind buys turned out to be clones -huge waste. Decided to get what I want I had to go to a brick & mortar establishment -hello Nieman Marcus! No regrets going there I was ok paying what I did bc I knew it was authentic. But time & again I couldn't find that special Fragrance as much as I tried, I really, really tried (outlet malls, duty free shops in various international airports, wholesale district in dtla, countless retailers, on and on) finally I remembered a whisper from a grateful Nieman Marcus salesman something about a specialty shop... it was... Scent Bar... went there recently & oh my! Yes the illusive hand crafted Italian Acqva Di Sal was there all along. I felt as though I bumped into my celebrity crush! go to Scent Bar it's where you'll find the (real) good stuff.

Yelp
While the store itself is nice and has some unusual brands - Bad experience for me, thought this was suppose to be a cool easy vibe kinda place. Employees were not friendly/ stuck up ego vibes. As if they held some high power job position lol. They helped many other people who came in after us, we drove 45 (there and back wasting an imperative amount of my valuable time ) minutes to smell a perfume and they could not find it they claimed to have seen it earlier, but they could not have cared less. They were constantly helping other people ignoring us, leaving us feeling awkward wandering in the middle of the store. We had to go back up to them to initiate any kind of contact Weird. They would not open a new bottle for a tester. Again just left us in the middle of the store waiting without letting us know they could not find it - Then told us we could just do a blind buy on an expensive non- returnable perfume. we also emailed them directly about this. They did not respond.

Yelp
Scent Bar in Hollywood has reminded me over and over again why I love fragrances so much. I love trying new ones for myself or bringing friends in to find their signature fragrance, especially if Johnny or Yvettra are there. They have both taught me so much and have the greatest and most thoughtful/intuitive suggestions!

Yelp
Knowledgeable staff, wide selection, and terrific customer service. I've known fellow customers who LITERALLY made trips to Los Angeles just to visit this little gem of a shop. Five stars -- no doubts about it.

Yelp
This place rocks. The people who work there really know their stuff. They have unusual scents that you can't find anywhere. So if that's your jam, this place is for you. No parking, street. Not easy in the neighborhood. Will definitely coming back!

Yelp
Horrible Customer service . Stay away. I have bought many perfumes here at SCENTBAR. I must say I will never be buying anything from this business . I just came in with my mom to exchange a perfume I received as a present that was purchased at this SCENTBAR- Steve the manager did not allow me to exchange it as they have a strict 7 day policy. Has he heard theres a pandemic and that people are not running to stores . Especially now in the time of a pandemic / COVID - he wants me to run to the store to exchange it within 7 days???? He didn't even look up the purchase date. The product was unopened and unused. Very disappointing experience. To say the least my family, friends and I will DEFINITELY stay away from this business.

Yelp
I really love this place. Each time I've been there I have discovered something new or fragrances organized by scent in a way that is never found at even the flagship big box stores. Also, every time I've been there the Asian guy behind the counter has provided a thoughtful consideration or product comparison that demonstrates a level of knowledge above the "sales advisor" experience available at even the most high end stores. As soon as I leave I'm already excited about when to come back or how to find what I smelled online.

Yelp
As soon as I walked in, I was stopped by some man at the counter who told me, "If you do mind waiting outside, we are at full capacity." How unfortunate, because I knew what I wanted and I was going to be in and out. I came by myself so I am not sure why I could not just wait inside and browse. I would not recommend visiting this place to come in to make a purchase or maybe I would suggest calling in to see if you can book a time to purchase something or check their availability. smh. Ridiculous. 4:26 pm Saturday 4/15/2023

Yelp
Sadly for me, the store is closed. They are doing business online and I do very much respect their commitment to the safety of their staff and our community.

Yelp
This is my number 1 fragrance place!!! My bathroom is turning into its very own Scent Bar!! Shout own to John who works there! He's very informative and knowledgeable about many fragrances. I always have a wonderful experience when I go there.

Yelp
I love this place! I wish I had asked the gentleman's name to compliment him specifically. I barely finished describing the type of scent I was looking for and he already knew exactly what to recommend. The selection can seem overwhelming but the staff makes it so approachable. Thanks again for the great service.

Impressive selection and great experience working with knowledgeable friendly professionals. David and Clare helped us make some great selections and we'll definitely be back and online as well!

Yelp
I love this place and so so so happy I found it! This IS the place to go if you want a truly amazing, unique and high end fragrance. All of the scents are brands you won't find at department stores or Sephora which is awesome, it feels unique and highly curated. They have a wide selection and are generous with samples. I love their approach where they do not encourage you buying until you've tried the samples! The first time I went I got 3 samples didn't love any of them, went back and got 1 sample and loved it so much I bought it the next day. Prices are a little steep compared to department store brands but it's worth it, I get compliments all the time on my perfume : )

Yelp
When my news telling teammate Brain had an unfortunate experience with his cologne, Sex Panther by Odean, he was forced to be hosed down outside the news telling office. It was a blessing in disguise, as his foul scented pass at the ravishing Veronica Corningstone fell flat, allowing me to swoop in and romance her with my unparalleled playing of the Jazz flute. But as Brian was still unattached romantically, we decided to scour the globe for a new scent, that would be sure to lure beautiful women to Brian's side. Scent Bar Hollywood more than delivered, presenting us with a wide selection of scents to suit any nostril. And the best part, none of them smelled like pure gasoline. Give Scent Bar Hollywood a try the next time your cologne containing real bits of panther publicly fails you. I promise you won't regret it. This business is Ron Burgandy approved

Yelp
This happened to me yesterday: I am a visiting mom from Chicago, here to celebrate the holidays with my grown kids! One stop on my to-do list was Luckyscent (my son's favorite) to purchase something special for him. Unfortunately Steve (our go-to person for superior customer support in the years past) was not there, so I depended on some good help from the 2 women who were behind the counter. (BTW, my daughter & I were the only people in the shop!). No welcome, no 'can I help you find something'? I finally asked if Steve was in...and got a simple 'No'. I said the reason I'm asking is because he knows my son's taste in cologne. 'Anything similar you can show me??...No response AT ALL! These 2 women were totally ignoring us. Pompous! Unwelcoming! Simply rude! We walked out! I was devastated & very angry! They ruined what should have been a wonderful shopping experience! I seldom post...but couldn't let this go by! I wonder how many other people were so disrespected by these 2! (BTW..one wore a mask...the one sitting down did not!) Will call to make sure Steve is in today...so I can happily give a wonderful gift to my son!!! It is truly a GREAT store...I don't blame the store! I hold these 2 women responsible for this bad experience!! Happy Holidays anyway!!
