I've since long heard about the oldest coffee roastery of Köln, and today I had the chance to visit it. I got myself a cold brew for €4, which was very refreshing. The atmosphere was ok... not that many seating, inside and outside. The roast machine and the containers add an interesting vibe to the shop though, and the aroma inside the shop made my day. They also sell some souvenir coffee cups for €2 (a combo of one cup + one plate).

An amazing experience! Watching the beans roast right in front of me added to the excitement, and the latte I received was hands down the best I've ever had—perfectly balanced and incredibly smooth. Highly recommend!

This place serves some of the best coffee in all of Cologne. It’s a top spot it shares only with the micro roaster Benson. Great shop, serving up perfect coffee every time, and offering a delicious selection of roasts to chose from. Definitely a spot you cannot miss out on if your are coffee lover. Just wish the staff was a bit more „Cologne“-like (read: friendly). I guess the many barista awards can come with a bit of attitude. ;) Great add on though is that you can see the roasting taking place inside the shop. But it is not a place to hang around and chill. But perfect to stop by for a quick caffeine fix.

It is the best coffee shop that I have ever visited. The staff and the boss were very friendly. The taste of coffee is awesome. - From South Korea.

Great cappuccino, one of the best in Köln. They have a huge selection of beans and they also make capsules for Nepresso. The only negative is they do not have a lot of places to sit and sip.

I would only recommend it if you are a coffee gourmet. There are very few places to sit and drink, and they are just a few places to sit and drink, but their coffee is excellent.

Best coffee shop in Germany!!! I came here with 3 friends, all visiting from the UK. The coffee here was fantastic, the atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were super friendly and cool. The coffee art was the best I've seen :) I will definitely return if I'm ever in Cologne

I love it here. Nice to relax and enjoy the different types of coffee here. The staff is amazing, too.

Yelp
You can smell the perfume of coffee roasting from outside, before seeing the place. It's slightly off hand for Cologne, close to the edges, so probably not a place a tourist would willingly venture to. Yet the coffee is excellent and the price is fair. I especially like their well-made capuccino (even with soy milk). I haven't tried many of their coffee sorts, but there is a huge selection for all machines and of all kinds (I bought Espresso Napolitano). One can find their coffee in several places in the city. Go if you're a true coffee fan, or if, like me, you spent some time in Italy and miss a good cup. (There is also coffee to go and they sell reusable cups with a free refill. Clearly not a place for working especially when the roasting machine is on, but it has a nice coffeechurchcult kind of atmosphere.)

Yelp
I've had their coffee a bunch of times, but just went there for the first time with Oli, and i gotta say i was pretty impressed by the huge amount of sorts of coffee they have. If you're a coffee junkie, this is the place to go. I had a fresh brewed Nicaragua Maragogype and it was just a blessing. I loved it in every single way. Plus you get to see the master roaster in action roasting the coffee beans just in the middle of the shop. The smell is wonderful and adds a lot to the already great experience. Lucky me this place is a few blocks away from my work, so i'm going to be here a lot.

Yelp
I'm a cafe fan not a coffee fan so this wasn't the greatest place for me. I was also looking for a good cafe to do some study and this location was not ideal. Otherwise the coffee looks totally awesome. There's not a lot of food on offer though which is a shame. I had a nice hot chocolate there. Also they sell keep cups!! Apparently it is an Australian thing, Germans totally need to get on board to reduce their coffee cup wastage :)
