Schaubühne

This was honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a cultural venue. The ticket seller was extremely rude, dismissive, and openly disrespectful. Instead of welcoming visitors, he spoke in a way that made people feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. A place that represents culture, art, and the public should treat visitors with basic respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was completely missing here. The attitude was cold, arrogant, and unnecessarily aggressive for no reason at all. It completely ruined the atmosphere and the experience before it even started. Staff at a cultural institution should help people, not make them feel like they are a problem for simply being there. This behavior is unacceptable and should not happen in a place that is supposed to welcome the public. Very disappointing experience

The plays here tend to be top notch. Sometimes the speakers are a bit loud, but it is generally a great theater. They have a small selection of food and drinks in case you get there early.

Visited the Schaubühne last week for the fesitval. Wow. The theatre is incredible. The people who work in the theatre, LOVELY! All round great atmosphere and place. I can't wait to go back on day. Very big, spacious. Disabled access. They have a lovely bar/cafe that is normally the last thing to close around 11-12pm. You can get some hot food/snacks/drinks, etc. Spaces to park your car outside. I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy theatre and you're in the area :)

I have it 5* mostly for the plays on stage here, for the actors and the stage creativity. The location itself is interesting, modern, friendly, though not a spectacular venue itself.

A really nice theatre stage! Was here on 6th January for "Die Ehe der Maria Braun", the theatre was really nice with role and stage design but I would like to say this theatre house is also a nice place besides its performances. They have reasonable gradients in seating so that you won't be blocked by the tall guy in front of you. I don't know anything about architecture, however, I found the design is somehow mordern compared to Deutsches Theatre and Berliner Ensemble and it is quite nice.

Currently, my favorite theater in the city. I love to have a eine and people-watch before the shows.

This is a very nice theater. The actual theater hall was very modern and comfortable. The actors were great! I enjoyed the modern backdrops, the use of technology (video and media) to bring the scenes to life. Some of the shows have Übertitels (top captions) in English and German. I believe there are some that show übertitels in other languages too (check before purchasing). The process of finding your seat was very quick and easy. The theater bar has a good selection of beverages (alcoholic and none alcoholic beverages) and snacks. It was an enjoyable experiences.

I come to this theatre every time when I am in Berlin. Thanks to artistic director, company and also unique building
