Hotel Capricorno

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Capricorno, and I found it to be extremely convenient and comfortable. The hotel is located right next to public transportation, including the subway and tram, which made getting around Vienna very easy. Many attractions, shops, and restaurants are also within walking distance, so the location is truly excellent for travelers. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always ready to help. From check-in to check-out, the service was warm and welcoming, which made us feel very comfortable during our stay. The room was nice, clean, and well-maintained. Everything was in good condition, and it was a pleasant place to relax after a day of sightseeing. One of the highlights of the stay was the complimentary afternoon tea. It was such a lovely surprise! The pastries and snacks were delicious and of high quality, it felt like a special treat and added extra value to the stay. Overall, I was very impressed with this hotel. If you are looking for a convenient, comfortable place to stay in Vienna with great service and a nice extra touch like free afternoon tea, I highly recommend Hotel Capricorno.

Me and my Wife had a Great Experience in This hotel During a five Day trip in Vienna. Beautiful Rooms, good service, very Nice breakfast and an unexpected snack in the afternoon . The Room Was Clean and Comfortable. All the People in the hotel Were very Nice Particulary an Italian Guy named Marco. The Hotel Is very close to the Metro station.

Very good location. Decent breakfast and quiet room with good airconditioning. Checkout could be later but looks like greediness takes toll (10€/extra hr)All in all good pick!

Hotel Capricorn was fabulous and I would highly recommend it. Super convenient, walking distance to everything including the train. The staff was exceptional, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Most importantly… The bed and bedding was super comfortable. We loved it and we’ll stay here next time we’re in Austria.

Fabulous little hotel. Wasn’t so sure when we pulled up but was pleasantly surprised. Staff lovely and really helpful, breakfast was really good and rooms we clean and modern. The hotel well located with a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Vienna. I’d definitely recommend.

We stayed at Hotel Capricorno in Vienna for three nights in September 2025, and it was a great experience. The room was spacious, well-designed, and very functional, and the bed was very comfortable. They served one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had, including coffee drinks and eggs perfectly made to our choice. The location is excellent, placing it within short walking distance of all main attractions. Specifically, it’s about a six-minute walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral and is also close to a public transportation hub. We enjoyed our stay, and we will be happy to return when in Vienna.

Whenever I visit Wien, I prefer to stay in Schwedenplatz area and Hotel Capricorne is my favourite place in this area. It is very close to metro station and city centre. The reasonable prices, good service and good food during the breakfast and afternoon tea hour.

Best possible location in Vienna, as the hotel has perfect public transport connections (airport, metro, tram), whilst being located in the heart of the city. Many highlights on walking distance. ||Rooms and breakfast are great. Very helpful and friendly staff. When we return, for sure we will stay in Hotel Capricorno again.

Great location to all the great sites to see, easy to access the public transportation system and walk to just about anywhere. Safe and clean hotel. Enjoyed having a balcony but view was slightly blocked. Not a big deal, just mentioning it.

Great place and am confused why there are no reviews. Very convenient to St. Stephen's and the subway. On a busy street but really quiet. Room felt brand new to me and was very comfortable with a nice balcony. The bathroom was really nice and I loved the shower head. It was one of the big ones that gives the impression it's raining on you. Morning breakfast was actually a breakfast. They have selections to choose from like a continental but the staff will make you coffee and eggs in any style you choose. Staff were all nice and welcoming. I'd stay here again if I came back.

This is our 2nd separate stay here..on the same trip to Europe! A great hotel from every aspect. The staff is just excellent. I could not have expected more! The rooms are very comfortable, and so practical! The breakfast is so good! I have to admit, we only had coffee outside the hotel once, that's how good their coffee is! The latte macchiato they make is fantastic! As I write this review, I am sitting alone in their eating area, and the person manning the front desk this evening brought me a piece of coffeecake! He also gave me an entire carton of milk when I need some for my daughter. You can't get any better than that! My only hope is that the staff receives hefty compensation for their hard work and attention to detail! We will be coming back!
