Schlernhaus

I have rarely been to such a comfortable hut with such a nice dining room. Water from the tap is drinkable, you can charge your phone in the room, the food is very good and you can choose between a huge variety of dishes. And the view around the location is very great.

Food in the hut was ok, although portions could be bigger. After a long hike everyone is really hungry, and ordering two meals becomes too expensive. A hot shower (in the afternoon only) 3,5€ for 3 minutes, it's possible to stop the water, which stops the counter. No socket in the room, but two USB A ports available for charging. The staff was really friendly and helpful! Gorgeous views!!!

The huts is very near Monte Pez huts where we can see beautiful sun sets. We can have a good view for the sky in the night as well. Food is delicious. However the bathroom weren't very clean

Amazing experience at the Schlernhaus/Rigugio Bolzano. We got there right around 19:00 and wanted to check-in but we were seated right away for dinner. We barely made dinner time. The dinner was amazing. The food was fast and so tasty and fresh. Just what we needed after a long hike. After dinner, we were able to drink more and converse in the bigger dining room. The room was simple. There were four of us and we got a room with 6 beds all in a row. Single stall toilets. Shared sinks and mirrors. Private shower room. We couldn't shower since the we only would've gotten cold water. The shower token only allows you to shower for 3 minutes. I'm glad one of the staff told me this. The views and location of the Schlernhaus were/was amazing. Nothing else for around miles. Cows surrounded the entire area. Super picturesque and a great way to kickoff our Dolomites experience. Highly recommend!!!

We didn’t stay, just went for some lunch and a drink after walking up. Big dinning room, excellent service. Perfect hearty food after the slog up!

This is one of the most beautiful mountain huts of the Dolomites. As a local i know the value of having a place to stay in the mountains after a long hike. Schlernhouse is not a quick destination as the hike will take a minimum of 3hrs from whichever side you'll be coming from. The good thing is there are different ways to get up there and they are all very rewarding, considering the view and the hospitality in the rifugio. It is truly like a castle on the mountain and i treasure a lot of beautiful memories up there with family and friends. I will for sure be back in the years to come!

Nice refuge with a beautiful view of the surroundings. comfortable accommodation with the possibility of ordering food with a fairly wide selection, which was also tasty and the service was willing.
