Wonderful experience, easily accessible getaway from town centre by tram. Nicely curated exhibitions, not too overwhelming, which we appreciated. Very accommodating to English speaking tourists. Extremely pleasant lady at the cash register with outstanding level of English. Ausgezeichnet!

Beautiful absolutely beautiful palace and gardens in which you can spend an entire day, sadly I didn't have that much time but nevertheless I enjoyed a lot visiting this place. Definitely a must see while visiting Graz.

This is the first destination my friend showed me in Graz. This is not the kind of extremely luxury type of palace. It is a lovely place with the right size, interesting history and significance. There are a few exhibitions with well presented information and artefacts. You wont be disappointed.

Beautiful and huge place place. Unfortunately when I was there the weather was not very pleasant and still this building managed to make me feel its power. Inside there is exhibition perfect for the history lovers. The park is also worth seeing itself.

Schloss Eggenberg is one exceptional castle surrounded with lovely spacious park full of beautiful trees and flowers.Paths which lead through the park are covered with little white pebbles which make a experience of walking through it so natural and calming. Beautiful sculptures are settled on some of significant spots. You can meet lovely peacocks all around which freely wander between visitors… Smart crows as a contrast to peacocks are crossing over meadows with their funny walk and talk.

Outside the castle many young families bring their kids here. Inside, l was quite impress with how the story of beginning..till the end of the dynasty.

The parc is well-preserved and nice but I would prefer it to be more accesible to the public. I do get that it’s monument and must be protected though I cannot enjoy the parc when your dog cannot go, you cannot step on the grass etc. In general, you can just walk and look. I def prefer the Schlossberg parc that is public.

Easy access via tram. Huge garden, the garden next to the museum is beautiful. Going thru the Palace you do lots of walking and the presentation is very helpful to get to know the history. Had a very nice visit.

Yelp
Schloss Eggenberg, or Eggenberg palace, dates back over 500 years. Take the guided tour in German or English to discover the state rooms and historical events involving the palace. Take the #1 tram line to Eggenberg, and walk East 1 block to the entrance. There is an entrance fee. To visit the palace, art galleries, or archaelogical museum costs extra, and tour is extra. There is no modern heating or cooling, and no modern lights in the palace. It is wheelchair accessible, and has modern bathrooms.

Yelp
The castle was very well kept, the paintings and tapestries were gorgeous. It was a time travel during the whole guided tour. Our guide was very nice and had tons of additional information to provide us during the tour keeping each room very interesting and full of discoveries. The little park surrounding the castle is also nice for a stroll and to see the roses garden. This castle is easily accessible by tramway from the city center which makes it a great day trip activity.
