Schloss Lübbenau

A lovely experience! The room (in the old fachwerkgebäude) was wonderfully spacious, and the garden exuded charm—a perfect spot for enjoying a cup of tea. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, and the breakfast was satisfactory. Overall, it's an impeccable choice for a romantic retreat or family getaway. P.S. It would have been helpful if the lady at check-in provided more information or briefly mentioned the tablet available for exploring details about the hotel and its surroundings.

Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Bathroom was a little on the small side, but clean and functional. Views and surroundings were fantastic, staff very nice. Both dinner and the included breakfast was very good 👍

Fantastic location , tranquil in the extreme , excellent conference venue. Rooms are very ample (palatial in my case), clean and well equiped. Onsite service is excellent, restaurant food is of the highest quality and reasonably priced. Staff are extremely efficient and friendly and in most cases bilingual. Had a fantastic stay and would advise others to do so.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days for a wedding. The surroundings are idyllic, the rooms luxurious, the food of star quality and most important: impeccable service. Plus an amazing party room!

It’s a lovely palace but I would recommend visiting the town and kayaking more on a priority if someone is running short on time as they are a must try . However this is a nice spot too.. perfect spot for picnics … surrounded by trees to give you shade even on a bright sunny day . So post all the activities if you want to sit and relax at a place this should be the go to place

We stayed at the Hotel Schloss Lubbenau for 2 nights with a group as part of a tour.||The converted schloss has a lovely situation in a park, with easy walking access to the town of Lubbenau, and close to the canal for rides into Spreewald.||We had a large room on the top floor of the hotel. Even though it was the end of summer it was hot in the room. There is no air conditioning, but there was a fan in our room, which we needed. You have to be careful to only open the windows which have netting across them, other you are in danger of getting a room full of mosquitoes - however, we saw very few while we were there.||We had a fixed menu meal as a group one night in the hotel. It was tasty. Breakfast had an adequate selection.||Can't comment on value, as it was included in the price of our tour.||Nice place to stay, particularly if you like the outdoors.

Family friendly. Superb location on the edge of the beautiful Spreewald. Excellent local food and characterful cocktail bar with laid back atmosphere. After dinner the kids could explore the grounds in safety. The newly renovated Marstall rooms (#9) are spacious and cool in hot weather.
