It is very nice place. The view of lake and mountains is really awesome. Minus is for inside of little castle. They could improve inside condition.

A fairytale castle on the lake. Schloss Ort is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I’ve visited in Gmunden. Surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of Lake Traunsee and stunning mountain views, the atmosphere is magical. The wooden bridge leading to the island gives it a fairytale feel. Perfect for a relaxing walk, photography, or just enjoying the beauty of nature and history. Highly recommended if you're visiting Gmunden!

Visited this beautiful old fortress on a Sunday afternoon and I was amazed at how relaxed it was. I walked right in and got a table at the small cafe situated right inside the walls. The food and scenery was top notch.

Even on a rainy day, it was beautiful! The weather gave it a very mysterious appearance ☔️ Its a few minutes walk from the parking lot, through a nice wooded area with a stream. I was only there as a quick stop on a bus tour so I didn’t get to spend too long. You can go inside for pretty cheap (5 euro), but I chose not to since it seemed a little small and you could still peek in from the entrance. You can walk around the entire castle for free and there are nice views from all sides.
