Incredibly nice hotel. The staff were fantastic, happy faces and did everything to make my stay perfect. The cleaning was five star, breakfast with everything you want, everyone at the reception was incredibly, the valet parking. And pool area was small but super sweet⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Next time i travel to Graz i come back and stay there again.

Located in a great position in two historic buildings on the edge of Graz’s old town. The centre is within a few minutes walk. Our room was quiet, but rather oddly faced through its windows to an internal passageway which meant you couldn’t have the curtains open while lying in bed. Some will no doubt like the enthusiastic embrace of modern art throughout the hotel - it left us cold. Some nice old Biedermeier furniture remains, in the comfortable ground floor sitting area. Parking onsite requires a member of staff to drive your car to the garage opposite the hotel.

The hotel is in a very central location. The room is decorated with some vintage furniture, which gives it a unique charm. The bathroom is located down a short staircase—it's spacious and very clean, though you’ll need to watch your step at night. The staff are professional and friendly, making me feel truly welcome. Breakfast was generous and delicious.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Schlossberhotel. The location was perfect, allowing us to walk everywhere. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were very nice and helpful.||The breakfast buffet was included in our rate, and there were plenty of healthy and tasty options. The staff at breakfast were quick to offer coffee or freshly made egg options.||My only complaint, or more of a suggestion, is that the room TV ought to be connected to the internet so that streaming services can be accessed.

Passing through the wonderful clean secure and beautiful city of Graz i stayed as a lay over in this hotel. Wonderful location, cosy hotel, good clean rooms, good breakfast and a very welcoming lobby with endearing very helpful young staff. A hotel what a hotel should be . Price even in popular summer time very very acceptable for this kind of quality.

I recently had the pleasure of spending two days at the Schlossberghotel – Das Kunsthotel, and I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The room was spacious, airy, tastefully decorated, and very quiet, even late at night. The bathroom was immaculately clean and well-maintained, with superior quality towels and premium toiletries. The private terrace offered a superb view of the city of Graz, ideal for admiring the sunsets in peace. The breakfast buffet offered a selection of fresh local products, including warm croissants, excellent cheeses, and quality coffee. The staff were consistently professional and courteous, providing valuable recommendations and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel enjoys a prime location, just a two-minute walk from the old town, offering guests a secluded retreat with the option of enjoying some peace and privacy. The fitness room is a notable feature, drawing inspiration from the Red Bull ethos, featuring Formula 1 posters and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. As a supporter of Bayern Munich, I found this detail particularly inspiring. In summary, it is a place that offers comfort, refinement and an authentic experience in the heart of Graz. I will certainly return here on my next visit.

Amazing art deco hotel a stone’s throw from the Schlossberg. Lovely multi-floor terrace and garden overlooking the city of Graz and a great well-priced range of local wines and spirits in the bar. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you need. Will be back!

I had a wonderful 4-night stay in December at the Schlossberghotel.|I had the quickest checkin (i.e., just provided my passport and was given my room key), which was a small but welcome surprise after a long day of travelling. The staff and service were excellent. I had questions prior to my stay and they were promptly answered.|If you like to walk, the hotel is ~20 from the Hbf. Just take the Annenstraße, which will take you most of the way. A tram also covers the same route.|In terms of the hotel, it is unique in terms of its style and ambiance based on my travels and as others have described. A welcome change of pace from "corporate" hotels. |If you decide to stay, I would recommend that you book the breakfast as part of your reservation. I found it to be of value. And they have a range of breakfast offerings (e.g., buffet and/or ordering from a breakfast menu).|My room overlooked the street but the sound of traffic was unnoticed. My room was a "Double Superior" room and it was great. Could not have been happier with it. |And the location of the hotel is central to most of the usual attractions to those visiting Graz. It is situated at the base of the Schlossberg and you can either take the funicular or the elevator, which are a 5 m walk from the hotel, or you can walk up the mountain. I took that elevator and walked down the mountain. OT: "Walking" the mountain provides you better perspectives than just taking either the funicular and/or the elevator.|Finally, "Thank you!" to the team at the Schlossberghotel.

Yelp
The location is great, but the hotel is really old, outdated and far from any international standard. Austrian standard separated beds and mini-blankets. Micro bathroom. No WiFi signal in the room (and of course no cell phone, but that is due to the historic nature of the building). Service on check-in was nice and friendly though.
