Regretebly the extra bed in the suite was extremely bad so we had poor sleep because of this. We should have complained, but didn't, so that is our fault. Otherwise a truly lovely place though the spa was too crowded for my liking.

Overall, our stay at this hotel was solid, but considering the price, I’ve experienced better facilities, rooms, and services elsewhere. It’s a bit on the expensive side. Be aware that part of the spa area is under construction (Dec 2023), affecting outdoor saunas and a pool annex. We opted for a package with half-board, wine, and treatments. The food was generally good, but note that a 3-course dinner might turn into a buffet unexpectedly. If you’re aiming for a romantic dinner, be cautious. Spa highlights include three saunas, a steam room, and a salt air space. The adult pool is heated, but no jacuzzi at the time of this review. They collaborate with a nearby aqua park if you’re with kids. Massages are professional, and pets are allowed, although you may hear dogs barking. The hotel maintains a good standard, especially in the lobby and restaurant areas. However, long corridors and a lack of signage might pose orientation challenges. Inform yourselves about the ongoing spa construction before planning your visit.

better living conditions do not exist. Service and staff received the highest marks. A quiet place with lovely surroundings. Delicious food at all times with accompanying wines at reasonable prices. A similar stay in Denmark would be considerably more expensive. Worth the whole drive.

Our stay at this hotel was overall disappointing. I really took my time to make this review, but considering the price, I’ve experienced far better facilities, rooms, and services elsewhere. We were aware that part of the spa area was under construction (we visited in March 2024), what we weren’t aware of were the absolute superficial cleaning conditions. The “big” sauna had literally hands prints and scribbles on the ceiling. We could only imagine that other guests wanted to signal that the place should be cleaned. You could also see the plumbing. I venture to say, this place too, was partially “under construction”. There were also literally crumbs on the floor under the benches, so the cleaning staff was long time due here. To call it a Spa-Retreat is overkill- three saunas, a steam room, and a salt air space and that was it. The outdoor sauna was not available. In the relaxing area we found the same superficial “cleanness” - the mattresses were stained, there was hair on them and it wasn’t just one or one time only. The hotel wants to maintain a good standard, and in the lobby and restaurant areas was actually possible, but on the cleaning they have to do a better job. The corridors were really long and lacked in signs which might pose orientation/navigation challenges. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand had also some cleanliness issues. The one thing we really enjoyed and was worth the money, was the food. We opted for a 3 dish menu and were so pleased about it. The breakfast buffet was also pretty good. We didn’t miss anything. The restaurant staff were very polite and professional. As a friend asked me if I would recommend the place, I said- absolutely not.

Very nice hotel in marvelous environment. Landscape impressing. Nice room with everything needed. Hotel Restaurant buffet (Orangerie) with sufficient selection. Atmosphere outside impressing, inside appealing.

Wonderful stay. Nice surroundings. Went in wintertime, where most of the nearby town is closed. Would like to go back ind summer, with the nearby lakes and lots of activities. ||Would be nive if the Sauna area could open at 7 am, instead of 12 o´clock. ||We enjoyed our stay very much.

Overall a positive experience and we did enjoy our stay. Very friendly and supportive staff and nice interiors. However, it's pricey and I'm not sure I would have visited if I wasn't given a vouchers as a present. I wish the area around saunas were more cozy and it was more clear how to use some of the facilities (e.g., on one of the days the steam bath didn't work and it was unclear why, all the spa staff was on a different floor).

We had wonderful weekend stay at the hotel. Grand surroundings, well maintained, quiet, clean and in harmony with the buildings.||Great Spa, outdoor pool and dining facilities. Rooms were spacious, clean, light with super comfortable beds.
