A-ROSA Kitzbühel (Kitzbühel, Tyrol) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Nearly all of A-ROSA Kitzbühel’s 115 rooms and 36 suites feature at least some view of the mountain range or Hahnenkamm, the crown jewel of the world-class Kitzbühel ski resort and host of the annual World Cup alpine ski race. Rooms are large and decadently decorated, with cribs or additional beds available on request. The spacious suites are especially well suited to large families or groups of friends, and feature large terraces or decks, two stories, or multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. And while the hotel’s location is obviously a skier’s dream, it’s also right next to Golfclub Kitzbühel, which was voted Austria’s best golf course at the World Golf Awards three years in row." - Tablet Hotels

The sushi bar at Schlosshotel Kitzbühel is a standout feature and, in theory, a wonderful addition to the property’s dining options. The quality and presentation were excellent and felt like a thoughtful, modern contrast to the traditional alpine offerings. Unfortunately, due to how busy the hotel was, service was overwhelmed, and we waited nearly an hour for a very small order. While the food itself was excellent, the extended wait significantly detracted from the overall experience. The property is lovely and the entertainment at night is a bonus. One of the highlights of our stay at Schlosshotel Kitzbühel was the convenience of the on-site ski rental service. Having everything handled directly at the hotel made getting on and off the mountain effortless, particularly during a busy ski period, and removed a great deal of logistical stress. The spa was another standout. It provided a calm, restorative retreat after full days on the slopes, with beautifully maintained facilities and a relaxing atmosphere that felt in line with the hotel’s luxury positioning. Both the ski rental experience and the spa contributed positively to our stay and reflected the level of comfort and ease we had hoped for. However, our overall experience at the property was impacted by some notable operational issues. Upon arrival, the hotel was unable to locate our reservation due to a system change, despite our deposit and completed pre-check-in. While the staff ultimately worked to accommodate us during an extremely busy holiday period, the situation created unnecessary stress at the start of what was meant to be a family vacation. One additional disappointment was the dinner service. While we expected (and are accustomed to) buffet-style offerings for salads and starters at alpine hotels, we were surprised to find that entrees were also served buffet-style. This was not what we anticipated from a property of this caliber and took away from the dining experience, particularly given the otherwise refined setting. We opted to eat out locally a few nights and found some amazing places - like The Mocking! While we appreciated the setting and amenities, we will look to other accommodations on future visits to the beautiful town of Kitzbühel.

Amazing stay at the hotel!! The surroundings are beautiful and calm, surrounded by nature and the golf club. The spa is fantastic, different saunas and relaxing rooms and a big pool. The food was also delicious. The most outstanding part of the experience was the staff. Everyone was extremely nice and attentive and made our stay even better.

A group of us from the states were staying at a different hotel in Kitzbuhel and were easily able to walk here. We got the morning spa pass and enjoyed every sauna room and pool. The staff were extremely friendly with impeccable cleanliness. A top tier relaxation spot!

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The rooms are super clean with very comfy beds. The staff is absolutely wonderful and accommodating. The food was delicious. The view from our room was incredible (looks like something out of a fairy tale). The pool and spa were fantastic. This place is the total package.

Mass tourism at a high price. Nice room and view in a lovely building but it is massive with loads of tourists (among which loud groups) and the feeling is not as high end as you would expect (restaurant menu entirely from the buffet, overrun spa, huge bar hall). Perfect service inside except for the reception. All in all, if you do not mind the crowd, taking a shuttle to reach the slopes or the village and really want Kitzbühel you can pay the high price...but there are many other far better places to go and stay in Austria !

Completely over priced for the room, the hotel, and the service. The worst part about it was the staff. There was not one single staff member that had a normal attitude every single one was rude to us for absolutely no reason. We got yelled at, sarcasm, eyes rolled every part of the hotel we went. It was honestly disgusting service and I am never going to stay at a hotel like this again.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is upmarket and traditional but with modern touches. Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly and professional and always happy to help. The breakfast buffet is excellent and although we didn’t eat at the hotel in the evenings, the menus looked delicious. We used the indoor and outdoor pools and there were always outdoor sunbeds available. The gym is well equipped. The room we had was nice but nothing spectacular. It was warm when we visited and the room and public areas were a little too warm for our liking. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.
